You can use this topic as a discussion about the legendary map Moon Silence that was removed from Tanki.
 
Reason for removing Moon Silence:
 

Most people were curious and wanted to know why this amazing map was going to be removed. It turned out that the reason it was going away was actually because of the players themselves. Not all of them though.

A small amount of Moon Silence players were cheaters and hackers. Because Moon Silence was one of the most popular maps in Tanki for both low-rankers and high-rankers, it made sense [to them] to make cheats. The biggest cheat and one of the most annoying one was called the infamous Fly Hack.


The name says it all. It allowed players to basically fly to where ever they want. Because of the low-gravity and design of the map, people used this as the advantage to take & capture flags. It is an unfair way of playing Capture the Flag in Tanki. But now Tanki Online's anti-cheat sistem is stronger and there may be a chance of returning Moon Silence or making new moon maps.

Also, there were a lot of glitches in Moonsilence.

My opinion about Moon Silence:
 

I think that Moon Silence isn't guilty for the hacking problem in the game.

My opinion is that the removal of Moon Silence increased the hacking problem in the game, because hackers started to search new victim maps. Today, in the Game violators section, you can see many players complaining that someone used fly hacks in their battle, so - MS removal didn't help Tanki at all.

Moonsilence was and still is awesome. Took so many golds by simple pushing players away. It was also pretty easy to knock players of their aim.

Moon silence rocked, tho unfortunately I was a low ranked player when it was in the game. It would be really cool to see it back in the game, and i'd love to parkour in it :D

I loved moon silence and it was the best map ever and you know what the map was taken down because of hackers but ironically I have seen more fly hackers in Silence than in Moon Silence .

Hazel-Rah: Same as before.

Me: Hackers? Well if hackers were the problem, make it that going to high/top of all house (a hight where only hackers can get to) an auto self-destruction zone. And if people wanted to have fun and do incredible jumps, they may use parkour mode.

Hazel-Rah: Anticheat. Not hackers. Nevertheless low gravity is history, and will never be returned.

Me: Sorry, is there a difference between Anticheat and hackers? And why? Is it deleted from the program or something?
