Tips From Club Leaders

The Uraphuses

  • Troubles running your club.  ~ Basically it took a while to get established properly. And get some members with a decent looking page but now it's all set and good to go
  • How you try to overcome them. ~ It's pretty simple. Don't take all the burden on yourselves. Split the Job.
  • How you successfully overcame them. ~ As i mentioned Spread your work to various members especially co-leaders,
  • What ones were you unable to satisfyingly remedy to? ~ Gathering Enough members to start the practice/activity.
  • Did you assign co-leader roles to some members? ~ Yes in absence of my Mighty partner Darren. I had to give some roles to members. Also When leader and co-leader are missing.  We need to tell one of our trusted members to look after the whole activity and be our eyes.
  • If so how did that help you? ~ It helped to get our success in conquering 20 maps in the very start of our career. As if we tried to get the leader co-leader all members in an activity it would never be possible due to personal life and time zones.
  • What things / tasks do you wish you could delegate to a co-leader, but can't and why? ~ Basically, I believe there is nothing in this world that I can do, but others can't. So there is nothing for me that i couldn't share with my fellow members or delegate them a responsibility.
  • If you could make one change to the parkour clubs system, what would it be? ~ I don't know much about it but i would definately do something to attract more people to form parkour clubs instead of going in regular parkour battles and be enslaved by those Supply users who would just spoil the fun of others to develop a good D/L on their profile. But as for now I don't have any innovative Ideas. But for 'parkour' itself  I would like to suggest, Disable the Damage parameter completely from parkour mode. But keep Impact and recoil etc.

Club Leaders tell us more about your: club "I Believe I Can Fly"

Troubles running your club. I have had none.

Did you assign co-leader roles to some members? Yes, to WackaBacka

If so how did that help you? He organized and helped some trainings.

What things / tasks do you wish you could delegate to a co-leader, but can't and why? I wish he could edit the club, so if he wants to add anyone, he can.

If you could make one change to the parkour clubs system, what would it be?

That it shows how long the members have been inactive.

Please take time to carefully articulate your response, and state your club at the top of your post

From, VVinning leader of [iBICF]

I wonder why TFP leaders said nothing here. As a club that managed to stay open for 2 years I would expect them to have some advice to give to new clubs. And it could be really nice of them to try to help the parkour community with tips for sustaining and managing their clubs.

So... maybe tell us about the problems you had to face and how did you manage to overcome them? @Nikk ?

(I'll post here soon too btw, I posted once but very long ago, now I have some useful tips too)
