I have always have Pro battle and druggs with it, so It's all on me where i will join, but noobs ( sometimes mults ) just like you guys, are ruining 

our battles, when you don't have anything why you are joining ? o.O  Most of time players are asking you to leave but easy answer " I want to play " oo really ? you want to play ? then go get enough stuffs for battle, or play NS )) It's way too easy to avoid haters

Your judgement is law ... you know everything and state what is right and what is wrong, where a place is useful and where not, you state that a player has to open his wallet and M4 everything or is a noob mult ... YOU GOD, I BEND ON MY KNEES IN FRONT OF YOU!

 

Sure I am not a PRO or a starladder champion, but defining mult or noob someone who is often in the first 3 places of the score (out of 6-8) is again someting short-circuiting in your mind. Of course you didn't even realize how many flags I prevented to be taken ... because, you know, flags are not fixed to position themselves ... even your team flag can be taken (surprise surprise).

To be fair to Hazel-Rah I think he had this 'so what graphic' and was keen to find an excuse to use it - so he did (i.e. a bit of fun, no more, no less.)

However, he is the only Tanki helper to be bothered to make some 'comment' in our thread - the other helpers and Devs are mostly conspicuous by their absence!

I.e. Hazel clearly sees this whole debate (trying to limit drug use) as FUTILE (as many others do) and hence, finds it amazing that we do not just 'give up'.

Sadly he probably is the closest thing we have to what the rest of the Tanki management team are saying internally.

On that account Brubook is right - any other business treating it's customers like they are not important is doomed to failure.

 

In this day of modern internet media the opportunity to mobilize the users is unprecedented.  More than ever all businesses cannot afford to mess with their user base.

I.e. imagine if all Tanki users who felt that drugs were being 'abused' in Tanki had the opportunity to 'vote' - what do you think they would say?

and if Tanki then told them 'we don't care what you think' then those users might just take some 'action' - how about 'not play' for a week - how would that grab you if over half the user base stopped playing for a week?!

 

Next thing loads of YouTube videos will start appearing showing the appalling imbalance that has gradually got worse and worse in Tanki - these videos would be called 'Druggi Online' and would probably do massive harm to Tanki.

I.e. the druggers have got better and better at abusing the drugs - such that ordinary free to play players cannot compete.

 

Come on Semyon Kirov, where are you? - you're the 'Community Manager' - please help the large numbers of users who are suffering right now.

 

I normally love the V-logs - but I now find it distasteful that Tanki is effectively pretending that all is 'business as usual' while they ignore what we're saying.

Tanki could try and use the V-log to show us what we can do about Thunderkings and Hammerkings!  I.e. tanks that are 'serial drugging' including using Health packs as often as they can.

I.e. there is next to nothing a single tank can do even with full drugs - you have only 'seconds' to live - even if you survive the first shot - the second will get you!

 

Especially in the spawn locations you have no chance.

 

This is what I found on the 'unlimited drugs day' - the leading side with unlimited drugs can prevent all the opposition getting out of spawn! - I did it myself to prove the point! 

 

The losing side even with unlimited drugs can do nothing about it.

This partly explains why certain maps with more varied spawn locations are better against drugs than others - e.g. Madness.

 

If the Tanki V-log could try and show a solution to Thunderkings and Hammerkings they will fail - and when they do, they may finally see for themselves what we have been banging on about for so long - too much drug use creates a hopeless situation that is unplayable.

 

You gave us Tanki eSPORTS - and Tanki should note the word 'SPORT' - you do not allow unlimited drugs in the eSPORT channel because you know this spoils the entertainment!

We cannot all do eSPORT's but while we build our skills - then why can't we all choose the 'sport mode'?

 

As soon as you start to talk to us, then we can help you work out 'THE DETAILS' (see page 71) to get Tanki back on the right track again.

You will need a Pro Mode pass to see the answer.

 

I think you'll find that ALL Tanki Servers have the same version of the code.

 

As a software application expert for > 30 years (old git) - the software industry (particularly web based) has gradually learnt that having more than one version of their software is not efficient:

1.         Harder to 'maintain'

2.         Harder to test

3.         Harder to 'replicate' over all the servers

I.e. best to provide a 'parameter driven' OPTION in the single version of the software - as you see in the Map setup screens (most of which are in Pro Mode).

 

(I would like in Standard Mode (as a starting point) and in Pro Mode an option where 'garage drugs' can be 'reduced' say using 2x or 3x the Smart Cool Down times - then I can still use a few mines (mostly for defence against izzy's and firebird) and health packs at gold box time.  In the short term I would settle just for Pro Mode being made more popular - but Tanki has successfully killed that off at present! (can't find any large ready made battles I can use, even on RU1!)

 

 

I have to admit the game option in Pro Mode setup without drop boxes and no drugs starts to get too repetitive - same route(s) to target over and over.

The drop boxes cause me to adjust my plan and my target all the time.

3 mines and 1 health pack every 15 minutes are all I need - and is unfair to me if others use more.  I don't need the other drugs in my garage (unless I sink to druggy behaviour, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth).

dude racer, its becoming very difficult to read your posts. nice ideas, but can be summarized down.

i did manage to read devs part though, and i agree that they don't listen much. Because they feel that if smart cooldowns isn't going to make us happy, then what will?

But they havve to take into consideration that it's not the change that they made which was important, it was the effect it had.

I dont think game has becoming much less op compared to situation before, going on other player's experiences, and that it really hasn't gotten much more balanced, because now everyone uses it, and those who don't are pretty much dead, thanks to all those promotions and infinity passes.

While some people say that camping shafts with drugs are annoying, so is a freeze or fire running around. So is the good rail who can make good shots, the skilled rico who can bounce their shots! You can play with durggers, are they annoying? yes, but can you overcome it, yes. How many times have you used a turbo or a repair kit to cap a flag, a mine to protect yourself or get the guy behind you? a lot of times. Why, because they are effective. But many times, even with full drugs, you will get killed, a team of players shooting at you will still kill you. You might live those couple extra shots, maybe take a few down with you, but the end is the same. Drugging rails are easily bearable throw of their shot, dodge their shot, hide behind a wall. You are also forgetting the other important part, YOU CAN DRUG TOO. 

Drugs are not the only strategy, a good team is better than a load of drugs. a good isida is better than a heal, and a MUed hull will far better than an armor, as they only last a short period of time. You are also forgetting pick ups that you take to make yourself stronger. Pickups are another integral part of the game, making it even. 

I will admit that drugs can be annoying, but they are not the single part of the game. Are drugs expensive, yes, but you don't need a lot to get through. I always have around a hundred of each, over 300 damages that i probably won't ever use. The only drugs I have bought is, at most, 600 for 4 heals, which last me a while, till my next bonus. I used to hate on drugs and call them nubs, I would have thought a Commander such as you Bubrook should know that the game is well balanced, and that supplies are an integral part of the game, and without them, the game would lose its fun, goldboxes would be a pain(you can tell I'm a lt. by that, wanting golds, lol) and capping flags would be almost impossible without supplies, unless the opposing team is nub filled. And honestly, Tanki needs to support itself, and buyers need to have an advantage, so give em kits and drugs. Without drugs, who knows if tanki will still be around?

In conclusion, drugs are important, even if they are annoying, and skills can make drugs a lot less devastating than if you were a nub.

Not hating here, just answering

 

Try to use skills all you want against 3 enemies in Island, which one of them is Mammoth M3-Fire M3-Zeus   another one is Titan Isida M3 + clayand finally,

A Hunter Thunder M3 which are drugging,

using your skills and not even a single drug,You will fail, like so bad :)

 

WHAT IF I DONT WANT TO WASTE MY DRUGS?

There isn't a skill in this game that works against a drugging M3 Hammerking other than pressing 2-3-4.

Skills will probably allow you to evade from and skirmish the elite druggers, but they won't surely help you curb the druggers every now and then, especially if those druggers have skill and strategy to capture flags in blitzkrieg fashion.

1. No it isn't, play in different servers, where many druggs are not joining ...

Actually I never use turbo or repair or mine to protect myself or run!

 

"A team of players shooting at you will still kill you" ... so you admit that a team of players is needed to kill a drugger. What do you mean by "a team" ... 3? 4? If these players are busy with the druggers, who take care of the other 7 enemies (supposing a 8vs8)? Can't you see any unbalance in this?

Let's say your "a team" means 3 ... with 3 druggers your 8 players team is fully busy ... and the enemy has 5 free players that can overwhelm you!

 

YOU CAN DRUG TOO .... NO, for 2 reasons: 1-you can activate only 1 drug, even when a triplet xmas tree come, so you are dead anyway; 2-you must have a big wallet to affort a drug answer to a drugger, or you have to choose if you want the next upgrade of your tank or a bounch of drugs. In any case you are underpowered compared with the buyer.

Ah no ... when you say "you were doing nothing" it means "you didn't drug and press numbers as much as you can all the time"! So you are right!

 

You are the classical drugger: arrogant, offensive, feeling God, unbeatable, ordering others what to do, where to go, which weapon to use and whether anyone can stay or has to leave the battle!

 

If you have to say nothing but lies or offences, please do not reply!

 

Anyway I am happy you laugh ... you need it and you should do it more often, it could help! Keep reading this post, if that is the effect ... you will feel better.

 

The.wendeta you should steam off your frustrations in different ways, not just pressing numbers in an internet game and insulting enemies and team mates! I won't write them here, but if you ask around in your real life, you will find some answers.
