Reduce power of garage supplies

non-druggers big noobs ok, tanki would be much better if al those guys with no drugs leave tanki

... that said by a NOOB DRUGGER. LOL How funny... Do you want me to bring back the images from noob druggers that can't turn their turret and you can go next to them and laugh your _ss out seeing them try to turn the whole tank?

It's pretty much obvious who needs the drugs more, skilled people or noobs... so don't repeat it, it gets tiresome.

Drugs are infecting lower ranks as well. All of a sudden, 1-5 key is the solution to winning! <_< No need for teamwork! Hooray! :unsure: :ph34r:

True! I made a lower rank account to explore drugs issue and more and more players, even at your rank, just press one from 2-3-4 as they appear!

No more strategy, teamwork, skills ... just 2-3-4 and 1 to win!

 

Also, especially at those ranks, the effect of kits before actual availability is just devastating! If you add drugs on top of it, there is no more battle ... just some typhoons destroying everything on their way ...

the picture you see comes out of your local cache. It has the same filename.. so your PC does not know it was changed.

A reload should usually do the job.

I checked today, after cleaning cache and everything, and I can't see the image. Before I had the old one and it probably was a cache thing, now I cannot see any picture anymore. Please (you and other readers) let me see if it is a problem of mine or you also cannot see the pictures.

It becomes redundant when I have to use supplies to get the supplies within daily missions. While a goal was set, its not fun to reach to that goal when you have to use just as many drugs, if not more, just to get the gift. When more people realize this, people will dismiss Daily missions and the game, once again. You ask returning players who have come back to review this new aspect of the game, specifically if it is worth the time and effort and if it is a good system. I don't think they'll be as impressed when many of them have probably quit because the monetary system of the game is based largely around supplies. Supplies themselves is what will turn gamers away and what will make the game eat itself in.

I do not, except for pickups.  That is one of the reasons it can take about five hours to achieve my missions.  :(

While a goal was set, its not fun to reach to that goal when you have to use just as many drugs, if not more, just to get the gift. Actually, earn experience in battles is the best mission, because that is what we do. The irritating ones are like destroy 90 enemies. Now, instead of playing normally for the best interest of the team, you try to kill tanks (in CTF and CP) instead of capturing flags or points or healing who need it. Naturally, collecting drop boxes is even worse, especially the gold box one.

For me, the most annoying is something like Earn experience in map you never play*, or capture 10 points (I almost never play CP)...

Destroying enemies is ok because it's what I normaly do.. :D

 

* i.e. Polygon. Polygon is for heavy hulls mostly and certainly not for railguns. So, what good am I in a hornet / railgun? No good at all...

Actually I do really well in Polygon with only Hornet and Firebird. About the only time I see two big hulls being an issue is if one is using Twins and the other Isida - sort of like a self-healing castle.

Earning XP is the easiest. I agree, having to kill a certain number of enemies is just tedious and annoying. I get a good laugh, however, when I see a Hat Trick of "Kill x number of enemies" along with "Earn X experience in CP" and "Earn X experience in Polygon." All three taken care of with a 30 minute round. :)

 

Several days ago I had the gold box mission and changed it because I usually get screwed out of them despite almost always being the first to find the spot. Last night I got lucky, found the spot, mined it, and waited. A tank thought it would be real cute and got up on a ledge to jump for the gold, he missed it, hit my mine, then I flamed him. The explosion of his tank opened up a spot in the mess of all the other tanks and allowed me to slip in and get the gold.

 

Next time I get the gold mission I'll just hang on to it instead of changing it. :(

I believe you misunderstand, if they remove drugs, all the druggers will get angry and leave.

Or just complain they "ruined" Tanki, and get them added right back in.

Just wait untill top ranks and go deal with Mammoths / Titans / Dictators.... Vikings are the light hulls in Polygon at top ranks. :P

I guess you didn't read this topic much...but great bait anyways (if intended as bait)!  Care to explain how a Pro Pass will mediate druggers?

 Brubook (#9) Actually, as a non buyer, everything is hard to afford. But if I choose to save for hull turrets or paints, there is no more left for drugs or passes. If you add a minimum of MUs .... crystals are never enough if you don't buy!

Uh, you can't really win if you play it smart when your enemy is drugging. The dude has double armor/power with a health pack. That health pack heal is too powerful. Unless when you say "play it smart," you mean just give up the battle, leave, and/or buy a PRO passProbably that. But still, drugs are so powerful. And even if you do save up and get the same equipment, they still squash you with supplies. Or if you buy drugs, then you'll probably never get better equipment. Not even counting MU's

Fortunately, it's not too late to come around and set the game on a proper path, the Unity transition is the perfect time for changes...

It's already an expensive sum and I could plan a gradual purchace (using a combination of earned funds and real money), but why should I do it, when a) even with these items I would need to buy supplies as well in order to meet players that drugg, and b ) how should I do it when Alternativa seems to turn its back to 50% sales?

See, what I say, it's not a game of buyers crashing non buyers but big time buyers crashing everybody else, including small time buyers. That, is the real meaning of unbalance.

creeperskelly (#830) Because of the massive expense to actually buy a turret or hull of course it is easier to get someone to pull out the credit card to drug than get out the card to spend $700 on a tank (this obviously makes Tanki the most expensive game I have ever played in my life).

It won't be a surprise when they reduce the daily missions 1 more time claiming it is having a negative effect. Daily missions are already saving them a lot in daily payouts but reducing them even further will save them even more.

 


 

 

I laugh every time I get one of the pick-up 7 boxes to earn 10 boxes.  The easiest is "finish first in battle" , use your PRO Pass with a friend, set it for 1 kill or flag and your done in 30 seconds or less. It's even better when the friend has the same mission.  B)
