While I do play in a lot of XP/BP battles (and have a lot of fun), that doesn't mean that everyone likes that gamemode and/or can afford it. 5000 crystals is pretty steep for the lower ranks, and there honestly aren't a lot of drug-less battles for lower ranks.

 

Now, we're not trying to have drugs removed entirely -- that'd be impossibly harsh and probably ruin ESports. But drugs as they are are overpowered, and I'm sure a lot of us just want some sort of nerf.

And y'know what just puts a wide-lipped smile across my face? Joining a random Deathmatch and immediately being taken out from above (This was a ninety degree angle, he fired straight down.) by a M1 Railgun in one hit.

You can't just say "Buy PRO pass!" because that costs (to them) a lot of money, and you can't just say "Use drugs!" because that costs even more money.

No, they ENCOURAGE them to wipe their asses with us.

That's what demotivates me, I can't progress, earn crystals, or gain XP in any way other than tediously grinding through battles in an attempt to find a good one that I'll be able to play effectively in.

I have M1 equipment, I have a good paint, but I still loose for no reason other than "Double Damage" or "Repair Kit".

It's like trying to play an organized game with a younger sibling, you think you have him until the dinosaurs attack.

There's no reason to complain about something which is a big part of the game's gameplay. There are options in the "battlecreatetor" which allow you to create no-supplies-battles. So this problem is solved. And there are many who join such battles. In addition, there are battles like XP/BP in RU1 + many DMs in RU2 (no druggs there ;) )

If you take just a little of your time reading post #1 or the sum-up post, you will see answers to your wrong statements. You talk as gismo and there are some no drugs battles (even if they are limited to some maps only, so you pay a pro to have a limited game), but look at it throughout the ranks.

 

Having the read I suggested, you also see that we don't want drugs to be removed but nerfed (as they are overpowered).

And that is why we are here! On the sum up post you will also see many incomes alternatives to drugs (some may be good some may not, but they are ideas).

Probably they don't ... yet I want to let them know my view ... mine and many others.

 

But let's remember that before hardcore druggers increase, Tanki had average daily players of 120k with 150k in weekends ... now we don't go over 70k ... that means something!

 

When there were no limits (the 12345 days) there were actually much less druggers. Maybe strange but true!

I am not complaining to devs, they are quite aware of the issue. I am trying to show to players how cruel they are to their co-players when they exploit Tanki's greed and be all the time OP due to drugging. They don't respect other people's efforts or skills, or just the human need to win sometime themselves too. I am sick and tired to join ALWAYS the losing team just to offer a counterweight and the opportunity for a good game for all. I even switch teams when opponents leave and are way undemanned. It's called a good game for all. Not like the I-will-kick-everybody-in-the-face attitude of some people...

Obviously you haven't read the topic, else you wouldn't say these things.. Unfortunately, nothing like that is a solution, go to page 71 and so some reading, like Brubook said.

Nope. But I don't apply to admins, but to the players. Players have to understand that they should let other people have fun too.
