First of all, I talked about repetition and was referred to many useless TG posts. I also repeated things some times, to answer politely to comments or questions. TG posts were repetitive and with no content. That is why they were useless.

If TG can't read or does not want to ... it is really not important to me. Fact is that his posts are repetitive and meaningless.

 

Second, saying that this is a stupid topic where there is people who believe in it and politely talk is very offensive. And if you consider it stupid, I don't know why you are here.

Considering this post stupid is like telling me stupid. Think about it before offending again.

It's funny how you're taking everything quite literally. xDDD The only fools here are you and TG for not reading the sum-up and stating things that we already refuted 165 pages ago. And you're calling me repetitive. Huh, quite interesting. Like Brubook and I said 3 times now, our "repetitions" were responses to non-reading druggers' idiotic statements that, like I already said, were refuted 165 pages ago. It seems that we all experience Tanki environment in our own way, feeling different things, that depend on the specific place (slot) we are in.

For example, I played a battle that ended too much in favor of our team (like 10-1) and half the other team vanished, so when next round started I switched teams so that there could be more balance. What I experienced in my new place, was totally different from before. I felt the overwhelming power of drugging, facing opponents one after the other that all were using some supply. Same people as before, mind you.

So, what was different was only the relative place I was in.

What I 'm getting to, is that we might live a battle totally differently than other players in the same battle. So, one experiences a normal battle where another experiences a blitz of firepower. Me, choosing always the losing team to join a battle, seems to end in feeling the overpowerness of the winning team.

What does that mean. It means that the game itself is unbalanced, ending in one sided battles. That's not an opinion, it's a fact that is proven by Tanki's repetitively attempts to establish a system of early finishing, while a year ago or more, this need was much smaller, if any at all. Final scores (comparison of a year's old scores to current ones) also prove that this is so. I keep records of final scores of my battles and this difference is existing.

What else does it mean. It means that both "sides" in this topic are somehow right in what we say, seeing things from our own perspective.

Nobody really wants to be a flamer, or a whiner. But lack of empathy / ability to be in one's shoes, leads to furious debates that lead nowere, like this one.

So, everybody, let's chill out and try to feel the other's point of view. Please. :)

Secondly, I call this a stupid topic because it just seems pointless. To me, it seems like you guys have just been going over and over and over the same points again and again and again. Maybe I have missed something, maybe I didn't see you responding to people, I don't often come on here. I just think that after 250 pages, you've made you point. 

 

Please, take none of that offensively, I was just explaining my point of veiw. As I said to generalpotato, I want nothing more to do with this topic. Just don't reply, and I'll be happy, and I won't come back, and you won't have to listen to 'just another literal fool ldiot drugger'.

I think The-Operator ment the [Go-Pro-Club: Drug Free Multiweapon Battles], that we founded about a week ago.

 

At the moment we have 19 members in the M1/M2 battle group; and 18 members in the M2/M3 battle group.

Of course the members are spread over various timezones, so we still need more to arrange battle sfor all of them... but yesterday we could announce and schedulle our first club battle, which will take place on the upcoming Saturday, 18:00 UTC, ranks to :) :)

 

So it's rolling.. and more members are welcome :)

Love the Go-Pro club idea - lets have all who want more balanced battles sign up to it.  Should be thousands, but always hard to get people motivated!

 

Just came up with a new idea - and I don't think anyone has suggested this before :0)   (That's got your attention!)

 

I have noted an increase lately in the occasions when drop boxes go 'transparent' on me - i.e. I drive right through them without picking up.

I see it happening to other tanks - so I guess we all accept it as a bug and move on - slightly 'peeved'.

I see this mostly on Skyscrapers with the DA box (below the big tower), when dropping down on it from above while the box is still falling.

 

However, this got me thinking - this mechanism could be used to help balance the battles.

In many battles the leading team dominates the battle field and as such they collect most of the air drops.

Hence, in collecting the air drops they gain even more advantage over the losing team!  This means battles become one sided quicker.

All Tanki has to do is to prevent the leading team from using air drops - thus giving the losing team a big advantage.

This will lead to closer battles and a better distribution of funds.

 

Sure a 'raiding team' on the losing side will get an advantage but only until they move ahead in the score, after that they will be disadvantaged and we can kill them more easily.

 

This change will help especially because by definition the losing team contains most of the weaker players.

 

It will also mean that joining the losing side will not be so 'unattractive' as it is at present.

Top 'cynical' players going for max scores (and full drugging) - find it very easy to only join winning sides - if I can do it, so can anyone.  (I choose not to because I hate winning too easily = no fun for me and the losing side usually quits.)

 

For DM, just stop the leading 25% players from using the air drops then we can kill them (the druggers) more easily.

The best part of this change is that it should not have a negative effect on sales off 'Supplies Kits' - so even Tanki will be happy.

In fact druggers may have to buy even more - because we can waste them (sic) more easily!

 

Could Semyon or Damn_Slow please comment on this suggestion and give it a trial week after which tankers can vote on it.

We respect anyone's opinion, when something is said. You probably noticed that someone started posting useless comments without any content and we do not respect that.

 

If you look back, we always respected points of view and discussion when based on facts. We also always replied politely to statements with our point of view.

You are partially right when saying that I made my point here. Still there are many players and new players (or new here) stating their views, asking something, discussing ... and I like to keep this problem up because IMO it is a problem. And, daily players base number on hand, it seems to be a real problem.

 

Here I saw many players that left the game for this overwhelming excess of drugs power, other players that spend time here instead of playing because they don't have fun anymore (due to the same problem) and players that explain why they consider drugs fun and they want them in the game as they are now.

 

Beside all this, please even if you consider this post useless or pointless, don't call us stupid. Just that.

 

If you look back you will see that any post written politely has a polite answer. This is the key. Me and you have different views on the game but this does not mean I could ever hate you and you may also be a lovely person. I will always respect you, as long as I receive respect.

And I will never call you "fool" or "ldiot" (referring to your post) ... maybe drugger (didn't see your drugs usage)!

 

Finally, you are always welcome here to state your point or write ideas ... in a polite way. I personally invited "druggers" here to comment in the past, because this is a discussion between different views, not a self proclaim of holy words!
