As you talked about Clans taking over battles.. you probably ment raiding teams.

The "usual*1" tanki clan (at least the roughly 20 I had contact with and played with/against frequently) does not act like that.

Raiding teams do that. Of course some clans may act like raiding teams from time to time, if they enjoy turning a battle.. but most don't.

 

Clans are (mainly*1) competative organisations, that have learned that teamplay gives the edge in this game. So they start to fight other clans, because fighting clan-vs-randoms turns out to be far too easy after a while.

Clan vs randomn is not easy when you have crazy sick skilled players as ftiends joining. And you know what; these superskilled players drug in normal battles. Clan battles are drugless.

Where the hell do you play?!!! I have never encountered that and never heard of it. (Thats my point, many tankers have different experiences.). I was a clan, a very good clan. We didnt try to ruin games. We tried winning our next match or tourney. Playing infair like that is not something i heard of from any clan i went against.

Actually raiding companies do exist and do ruin a battle (or they save the battle, it depends on which side you are).

But to put it as neutral as it can be, raiders do shift the battle in a very quick and powerful way.

But that's another topic.

So, comments on raiding teams, on that topic.

Rest assure, A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_E_N, that we have a reason to support this topic. And some of us have spend many hours of thought to this side of playing Tanki. Even if you don't see it (being kinda famous and maybe playing with all your experience and the many supplies you use) but as I said, not all are that skilled, that experienced and that popular. And some of them find it difficult to follow and compete with full druggers. But they all must survive in Tanki, more or less, don't they?

Tanki doesn't just generate revenue from tanki players, it owns other games too, besides if they aren't making enough income on tanki online the company could just find other ways to keep it in business

 

You're conclusion is quite ignorant, although since you have already justified yourself, you can continue to bellow yourself in your arrogance. You think everyone who spends money on tanki online actually has time to press 1, 2 and 3 all day like some players do? The higher end of income obviously comes from the players who spend more, of course i don't have access to those statistics but i should say the logical conclusion would be that the players that do spend that amount of cash exist as the lower population of players who play tanki, and if only those players were to exist in tanki, the company would probably not be able to generate enough income, so no, so called 'druggers' do not account for the game being free to play. You should know that the game relies on incomes by all groups of players and not just the ones that can afford to buy lots of supplies and abuse them during battle; tanki should know that by allowing this they are driving away their middle income players as the gap keeps widening between them, this is not just my opinion, its economics. At least do your research on the game first before reaching such a pathetic analysis.

I saw the furious debates and numerous counter-arguments and thought a lot about it, going through hundreds of pages and seeing all the points was neither easy nor too much fun for every new post repeated the same things, but nonetheless they were inspiring.They embedded in me the feeling that i had to write something, to make them all understand, to make them all know.Here is the result of my hard work and I hope you all like it.

1.)WHAT ARE DRUGS?

It is the unofficial name for supplies aka Health Kit, Double Power, Double Armour, Nitro and Mine(Though the latter is not considered to be either a drug or a over-powered by the majority of players).For better appeal to readers, I shall be referring to them as drugs.

 

2.)WHAT DO THEY DO?

Health Kit:

*Cost:150 crystals

*Puts you to full health and heals you for 2-3 sec more in case you are damaged.Also removes effects like afterburn and overheating.

DOUBLE ARMOUR:

*Cost:50 crystals

*Doubles your fire power.

DOUBLE ARMOUR:

*Cost:50 crystals

*Doubles your hit points/Halves any damage on your tank.

NITRO:

*Cost:50 crystals

*Increases your speed by 30%

MINE:

*Cost:50 crystals

*Causes massive damage to any hostile tank that treads over it.

3.)HOW DO DIFFERENT TYPES OF TANKERS SEE THEM?

A.)EARLY TANKERS(M0 players):

*In the beginning these drugs are not available, but within 30 minutes of productive gameplay, all of these are unlocked one-by-one.

*Some new players tend to use all of their supplies right away, and who can blame them.What is better than blowing off your enemies with a single shot of thunder or railgun, or putting on a double armour when entering with the enemy base, or rushing away with their flag with the nitro on?Health kits are extremely addictive due to immediate results and mines for their knack of destroying stalkers.

*Most players have blown all their supplies by their third battle, they now take one of the three routes-

A.1.)I want drugs:

Very few people come in this group for their is no need, everyone plays like noobs and everyone enjoys.

A.2.)I will use drugs whenever i have any:

Again very few people for most realise that 1-2 drugs won't get them many points, its better to save them.

A.3.)I will be saving mine drugs for better occasions:

Majority of players do this for they realise that drugs could seriously turn the game, it is better to save them for when the rewards are high and choices low.These keep on saving till they reach mid tanker stage.

B.)MID GAME TANKERS(M1 players):

*Most have 100-200 drugs each as they are of group A3.

*Some who belong to A1 have 1000+ drugs each.

*Those belonging to A2 either leave the game or start saving.

*At this stage drugs use suddenly rises, all A1 members dominate and rise quickly in battles.

*Most tankers can not spare crystals for drugs as M2s are expensive.

*Only buyers are using drugs regularly, rest either have used all of theirs in anger or are still saving up.

*Frustration builds up in non-buyers and a phrase becomes common in public chat during battle- noob druggee or noob nameofturrentandhull -

*Some players leave in despair.

C.)LATE GAME TANKERS(M2 players):

*By now most players have 1000+ drugs each, even non-buyers.

*A2 group members do not survive this far,thus we will now form the two remaining groups:

C.1.)Buyers

C.2.)Non-Buyers

*Buyers are referred to as -Paying Mass-

*Non-Buyers are referred to as -Critical Mass-

*Buyers keep the developers happy.

*Non-Buyers keep the game alive.

*Both are necessary on certain proportions, so that the game keeps on going smoothly.

*At this stage non-buyers only play the game to get M3 combo with a decent paint and move on to pro-battles where the drugs are not allowed.

*Druggers increase even more drastically.

D.)VETERANS(M3 players):

*Non-Buyers happily go to pro-battles and enjoy drug free battles.

*Buyers kill any non-buyers in drug battles, thus it becomes a stage where druggees compete with druggees.

4.)WHAT NON-BUYERS WANT:

*NERFED POWERS OF DRUGS

*INCREASED SMART COOL TIMERS

*FREE/CHEAP PRO-PASS BATTLES

*PROMOTION OF DRUG FREE BATTLES BY THE DEVELOPERS

*REMOVAL OF SUPPLY KITS WHICH GIVE 80% DISCOUNT ON DRUGS

*A LIMIT TO MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DRUGS USED IN A BATTLE BY A PLAYER

*AND MOST OF ALL

-----------A WEEKS REMOVAL OF ALL DRUGS, FOR THEN PLAYERS AND DEVELOPERS WILL SEE WHHOSE VIEWS ARE BETTER----------

5.)WHAT DO THE DRUGS DO TO A NORMAL BATTLE?

*Enhance gameplay

*Creates more opportunities

*Makes the battles unique and interesting

*Substitutes for luck when a plan/strategy fails.

*Gets one out of messy situations.

6.)WHAT DOES ABUSE OF DRUGS DO TO A NORMAL BATTLE?

*Frustrates opposition

*Kills the sense of equals

*Causes people to leave

*Causes revolt by the people who suffer in chats which leads to abuses and bans.

*Make battles senseless and boring for non-druggers.

*Changes the course of a battle

*The skill factor is replaced by money

*Rants are seen and people start to think of Tanki as a pay-to-win and in some cases, kind of pay-to-play battle where you have a chance of winning.

*Drugs are seen as match concluders.

7.)MY PERSONAL VIEWS ON THIS TOPIC:

All that i wrote till now was bases on certain observances and a lot of writing in the forum, now what i write is what i feel in this situation.This is my message to druggers-

 

'We all play tanki for having fun and enjoying ourselves, i feel that there is nothing wrong in buying drugs and using them to your benefit. But please i plead you to use them judiciously and only when needed.This will not only make games funner for you but also the opponents will appreciate your decision. The statement that I HAVE A LOT OF DRUGS, SO I WILL USE THEM ALL THE TIME IS LIKE SAYING THAT I WILL WASTE WATER BECAUSE I CAN.I just want you to know that your over drugging causes grief to others.I wish to experience a game where all have at least some chance of survival.I all comes down upon you, you have to make the correct decision.Are you willing to sacrifice others fun for your easy game?

Please think from our point of view, i know we all love to one hit K.O. opponents but that is not run for others, we all deep down inside our brains, love to dominate for we were born like this, we like to be the best, but we have to conquer it.If you have to best then be best within your league, drug continuously only in all drug battles but please not in normal battles.

It is not the nerfs and other changes that can do something unless you all realise that what you do is not right.Just once try to play a battle without drugs when the opponent drugs continuously and you will see what I mean.This is my humble request to all of your kind.'
