OK time for a case study. Lets take Club Penguin. It was damn popular about 5 years back, but now is when players are becoming aware of the membership scam. Now look where it is. And now tanki has started this "update" for the "benefit" of the game, that is premium accounts. Tanki, brace yourself, players are leaving soon.

Am I the only one upset that when you use your free mission change when the mission is to play on a map that you NEVER play on, you get a mission to play a gamemode that you NEVER play on?

 

I keep getting the same missions over and over: "Earn 400 XP on Wolfenstein map". Using my free change, I get "Earn 500 XP in DM mode" (I never play DM). UGH!

I stopped playing this game every day, months ago due to the abuses and nasty game changes here. At that time I said goodbye and just sort of checked in once in awhile and followed the forum. At this point, even that has become hard to do. Druggers, nasty Godmode attitudes and schoolyard behavior made "just" playing this game impossible. Most of the changes that have been implemented in the last few months are counter productive to low income players who want to use skills and tank abilities to play. So now....premium accounts! What a joke. Here's what we have...A game that takes money to play period! A company that is only interested in making money. This is their sole and only purpose. Anyone believing that they care one iota about players feeling on any issue,are badly fooling themselves. We will not win here folks!

For myself it is very easy to leave here for good. Because of all the issues that To allows here I stopped playing and putting into this game awhile back. So,either go with the flow here or just leave and stop making these uncaring fools rich. There will be no changes that help any of the players situations. This game is not what I thought it would be when I joined. For those of you who have felt the need to spend hundreds of dollars on this game, well I'm sure the powers that be thank you for the upgrades to their personal lifestyles. To those players who are good, honest people, who just wanted to play a good game, it's not this game. To be honest, at this point, this game really sucks!

Good luck all. I'm out of here. I'll take my abuse in real life where I can at least fight back. Nice job Tanki.

Premium accounts that increase the amount of experience gained and crystals gained by 50%?  And no more Score multiplier passes?

Sounds like a profit for those druggers who'll pay...

Tanki's about to become a bigger, more competitive grind than ever without premium aid.  Unless Tanki miraculously changes their thoughts and perhaps help out the F2P non-drugging players, 'tis going to be the long-lasting reign of drugs and premium accounts...

Well if you absolutely *have* to play on a Polygon map, some of the higher-ranked battles are Polygon CP. You might want to give that a shot, they're generally fast-paced, high-scoring games (though sometimes are filled with druggers). Wolfenstein is just sad... nobody even knows about that map.

I don't like Polygon.

The spawn points are randomized, so I always spawn awkwardly close to an enemy.

That or it's small size makes it seem that way.

Polygon has a high kill count due to its small size so even if you are on the losing team it's still better than being on a losing team in other modes.

The problem with Polygon is that due to its size it requires a medium or heavy hull and short or medium range turret, like viking - firebird or titan-twins... As a hornet-railgun I have no luck there... And if I try with M2 hunter or M2 rico, against (usually) MUed M3 titans, well, you can imagine the outcome :wacko:  :D

True - people using Rail or Shaft have little luck. Best ones are Firebird and Twins - and Isida if coupled with Mammoth and hiding in the tunnel there.

 

I've always used Firebird with Hornet in Polygon until I got Twins/Hunter M3. Now I use that combo most of the time.

 

(I shudder when I see someone trying to use Shaft in Polygon :ph34r: ).

You supporters of the idea that drugs are completely busted are idiots. Double damage does no good if you cant hit anyone. Double armor doesnt do anything if you are low on health. repair kits dont do you any good if you cant avoid fire again. And the reason nitro isnt double speed is because this would be completely unrealistic and the blessing that was a curse.

You have wasp m4 and nitro now. That is about 17 mps. That is allready hard to control. if it was double speed, it would be like teleporting. You would have no tank control, and yuou would tap the forward button and flip. See now why it would not be double speed?

I was in a game, just now, I was using my shaft m1, picking people off, without supplies, not even 1, I had some points, and what do you think happened ?; The usual, one of those people I picked off, comes by with drugs on, to get revenge, this can't continue, it has to end, it's not fair that honest people like me, are forced to leave games because we can't afford to drug every damn second of the game, but we don't even need to, if you don't like being killed in one shot don't bloody use hornet

That's because it is cheaper for them. They get to buy crystals much cheaper then we do. Without confirming again, it is about 50% cheaper.

I use mainly Viking-Hammer for every game, with the exception of Silence CTF.

First of all, I suggest you not to start a comment offending 90% of this post contributors and readers!

 

Your statements are out of the world. You could also say that DD does no harm if you play alone ... that would be in line with your other statements!

BTW we mainly talk about DA and DD. We also know that double speed, apart being not realistic, could not be handled by actual servers.

 

So, if you read this thread (at least the first post and/or the "sum up", you would have noticed that we took quite a deep look on the whole subject. Have a read first, then come back with more realistic comments!

The same OP druggers. Those were not only top buyers and druggers, but also raiders (a company) and skilled players... Unbeatable, unless one has M4 plus lots of supplies.

That's why when people reach Gismo I think the battles they can join ought to be based on XP level.

A Gismo with 2,500,000 XP who has nothing better to do with crystals other than spend them on drugs shouldn't be competing with lower ranks, or, even Gismos with 1,400,000 for that matter.

 

Our good friend erol1111 finally hit Gismo. How sad that a player only has to burn through 100 supplies per round to reach the top tank.

I don't condone drugs - I myself use them occasionally. That being said, there's nothing more satisfying that finishing a perfect match topping the leaderboard, without using a single supply. Sadly, those moments are all to rare - on this account I'm frequently provoked into counter-drugging, while even on my alts I've started to see more and more druggers.
