From reading all the solutions proposed in this topic, I think I may have come up with a solution based on combining the proposed solutions.

 

Double Armor and Damage will be reduced from +100% to +50% because they are too powerful at the current state they're at. But since not everyone has drugs to always be countering Armor and Damage druggers, Isida should be given that boost in healing power, rate, ammo capacity, and a wider effect cone. With the recent changes to Isida, Isida has become close to useless because the cone is far too narrow to be effective. For example, an Isida could be positioned on a ramp, facing the bottom and another turret can come up to the Isida and wreck it, simply because the Isida does not have the right angle to hit the enemy tank. Yeah sure, tell the Isida to move, but where is it going to move? Off the side of the ramp and the Isida has a chance of flipping. Up farther on the ramp to the top, and it still can't hit the enemy because of the angle and cone width. Farther down the ramp and it probably has to chase the enemy and even if it does attach long enough it does not have a sufficient healing rate for the user and his teammates.

Yes, I have thought of the MU problem as well. It was pretty unfair to give out full MU upgrades for free.

Great suggestions, though. Some side effects and can think of are slower firing rate for Double Damage, Speed reduction for Double Armor, and Friction damage for Speed boost. Can't think of any for Mines and Repair kits.

Double armor isn't the problem, think about it, it's double damage that needs a HUGE NERF.

Yes, like I said, Double Damage is the main problem with drugging and Double Armor contributes to it, so both should have a nerf. Both should be equal in bonus so they can counter/balance each other. Think, if Double Armor gave more bonus than Double Damage, a tank with armor equipped would be very hard to killthen armor would becom the new problem and require a nerf and it would keep going back and forth.

 

Isida, when mounted on a light hull (hornet/wasp) can easily be dealt with by using Firebird, Hammer, or Vulcan (Shaft, if it is not close to you). From Isida users' perspectives, the cone width reduction has made it harder for Isida users to keep locked onto the enemy, especially if they're a wasp, and makes it confusing when there is a big cluster of tanks. It also made it harder for Isidas to kill enemies when on a ramp. From the victims' perspectives, even now with the cone reduction it's hard to escape the beam of Isida once it is locked on unless the user does not know how to turn their turrret. So since it is still pretty hard to escape Isida's beam, increasing the cone width wouldn't change much.

Only if you have some experience and if you care about the "new generation" proper growth, under principles and ethics, can say what you said.

 

And that is exactly the other aspect of this subject. This discussion goes far over some numbers or turrets. It tries to bring a load of principles and ethics and show them to our future, all the teens and pre-teens here.

 

And exactly as you said (and I pointed it out too), I noticed that here I met good persons and good friends. I have also been very positively surprised about the younger ones, because it is less surprising that a grown person has these ideas but it is a positive surprise to see young people having such good principles already. For me, this alone pays all my effort here! (who has children do understand what I mean very well)

There is much to be gained from the bright energy that the younger ones can and do bring. In my life, surrounded by younger ones I am constantly reminded and re-taught many of my hard earned life lessons. This in turn reinforces the lessons that I give back to them and such is the circle of life. As you pointed out above I have gained some experience and I care deeply about the "new generation" proper growth in all areas, because I fear that there is not enough being done to guide them. Then I came here and hell became a reality.

To me, besides all of the other issues that are wrong, I just feel that anyone with a way to buy is preyed upon here. It doesn't help that so many are young and impressionable. After reading posts 2&3 i have to say that you convinced me. Its actually really fun to see angry druggers come on this topic and rage, It actually makes me laugh. And i guess that without this topic some non-druggers wouldn't have known that there are other non druggers and they would have started drugging

A teammate I played with yesterday, after we were just "drugger" obliterated stated it best, "this is not a game it's BS. I agree.

Tonight however, I have been treated to a new level of abuse here. I just tried to join a Noise CTF battle. I could tell In just a few seconds that I would be leaving. Every player, and all high ranks were non stop drugging. The abuse was just sad and depressing in it's magnitude.

Immediately I was addressed by name and told, very aggressively to "Get Out." I asked why and was told I was too weak. Now granted I only have M2 Hunter/Twins that are not fully Mued and never will be due to the cost, but I have never been told to "get out" of a battle. This drugging fool..JureZmaj123, a Field Marshal I believe, was the nastiest rudest, player I have ever run into. The rest of the team backed him up verbally. Has anyone here ever been made to feel like this?

So, this is the new Tanki . Drugging, buyers who abuse anyone and everyone not playing their way.

Usually, I am at least accepted because I am a team player and always play for the teams best interest. I have to tell you, the manner in which this fool tried to demean me was violent and angry. My response to being attacked in such a way in real life, would have been to take him down, quickly.

As a side note I did leave but watched the score and at the 30 second mark I went back in and congratulated them on being so strong and losing 5-1, and of course I laughed.

I have been away for awhile and only check in now and then to play a battle or two, just for something to do but, like RustyNail and many others here,  this pile of swill has lost the ability to entertain on any level. My GOD, nasty drug buying, name calling abusive throwbacks from a gangfight. I s this what you want your "game" to be Tanki?

A friend of mine who is a Pyschologist sat in a few times while I played. His take on this?

He found it disturbing at many levels. He said he could not find one viable point in what he experienced that would let him call this a game. He also called this mentally disturbing and dangerous, especially to younger players and felt that the level of abuse and frustration felt here could quite easily be carried forward outside of the game in real life with unpredictable results. This man works with teens for 20 years and has been a gamer friend of mine for as long. His advice to me was shut it down and walk away. So, I am! I have left in the past and stated that I would check in from time to time, but that is finally over. I kept coming back because of everyone here on this topic. I now realize that although we speak intelligently of change, so maybe someone will listen, the cost to re-feeling this nastiest every time we visit here can take it's toll. Drugging here is now the accepted way and will be worse in the next game. Players now look at your profile in battles and depending on what they see they demand that you leave. You are too weak...you are not drugging.... on and on and on. There is no nice place in this game, no ray of sunshine or hope. It is exactly what the devs want it to be. We have said many times here, "money is what motivates these fools" there is no new news in that.

I am not thin skinned so please don't think tonight's nastiness meant anything at all to me personally. It didn't. What it did do, however, was send me a message that finally got through. It's time to "get out" of here. There is nothing here. Nothing to entertain, enlighten and/or strive for.

So, for the very last time, I thank you all for your intellect and kind words, and for proving once again that there are good people in really dark places. This is such a place. Funny. Last week I some short-ranged turret on a Hornet with nitro and shield lit up was coming at me, I saw the DD icon blink and light up above him. Hmmm.... All three lit up and no pick-up on that last one - the DD. OK, fair enough. He did this twice. At least he wasn't hacking. Lucky for me, he didn't know what was under the hood of my turret, so he ended up wasting not one but two DD supplies. I never did see him after that 2nd time....

I don't know why blacksouleater should be a noob ... and I don't know how you know what happens at high ranks.

 

I also don't know why you have such a distorted idea of this game, which is supposed to be a matter of skills, technique, strategy and teamplay (where the case). It is not a "drug as much as you can to win" game ... or it should not be!

 

You don't realise that the "critical mass" of players is not the ones who "invest" (I would rather say "waste", after seeing how Tanki treats his customers), but the big amount of people that play for free and make this game interesting. I remind you that there would be no payers with no players! Players substitute algorithms and allow people to play with other real people, and this is an added value for this game.

 

And who ask someone to leave is just an arrogant selfish person that prefer to smash everything out and feel Godmode_ON rather than trying to teach something to who have less experience. Everyone learn looking at the others, even the selfish one that tell others to leave! You (and anyone) were not born with experience, you make it through living, learning and making mistakes. And this should be allowed to everyone!

Apart some extreme cases (almost mults), the ones who ask people to leave are the arrogant druggers that want someone else to drug too, not because of weakness but just a matter of drugging!

 

The arrogant persons described above do not even know what "respect" means, they just want to destroy everything and feel stronger and more powerful. You call it "ego" ... I would be too rude to call it appropriately!

 

Please have a read of post #1 or the "sum up". Maybe you can make yourself an idea of what are the driving concepts of this post and of drugs matter. Then come to give us your opinion.

First of all sucking it up had nothing to do with it. This is a game and that means...now try to stay with me, that people are "playing"...see?

No one, and I mean, "NO ONE" has the right to tell someone what to do here. What you are implying is that high rankers should be catered to ? Why should that be? This is not real life military service, and that's about the only place I can remember that sort of "rite of passage" taking place where it actually was deserved. I most certainly do not have to earn the respect of other game players with bad attitudes!

As far as the term "noobs" goes, it's a ridiculous term that has so many meanings here that it actually means nothing. I laugh every time I hear it.

It's obvious that Tanki only cares about the buyers and druggers that's a known fact. Let me correct you on something though...druggers have no morales and lack a sense of fair play and competitive reasoning, They play this game from a place that is so devoid of conscience and caring that they actually believe they are accomplishing something, and so puff themselves up with importance. If you choose to call it "big egos", knock yourself out.

Also... just so you know? There is no real glory to be won here. In case you've forgotten, this is a virtual place. There are only moments of self acclaim, won, using either devious or honorable methods. You make your choice here.

No one will ever tell me again how or where I should play. By the way? Here's a thought for you glory hounds...You could play this game for a thousand years and on the day you finish you will leave with nothing more tangible than a few memories. Point is that all of this posturing and look- at- me attitude that is thrown around is a waste of time, and nothing more than bullying.

As everytime, when you enter a battle ... there is no battle at all! Just a rage of druggers that go around like xmas trees and wait to take flag to press 1.

 

This is ALL TANKI STRATEGY ... full drug, get flag, press 1 and go. Tanki today is nothing more than this!

 

Battle scores are always (95% of the times) 15-1, 9-0, 18-4 ... does anyone see any unbalance in this? (I know the answer myself ... the eyes covered with dollars cannot see)

 

And ... the bigger wallet wins

Well I hate to be a little weird but the game is pretty good except for drugs.

But kids these days are getting worse when it comes to bad attitude plus, this is the internet its not like someones parent is gonna see what their child says on tanki, this is the internet kids don't think that their being watched, And in MOST CASES these offenders don't get banned or warned.

It's hard to progress without team members not drugging and me drugging like a drug lord. You tend to lose in battles alot.

Why is anyone even playing this game except people who conspire to "cheat" & fair play with gangs roaming around is beyond me. The only fair thing in this game is XP/BP. But not everyone is interested in using Rail Gun/Hornet/Wasp.

 

Oh, and raising the price of drugs won't help. It just means people with more purchasing power can get them anyway. Especially with Russian gamers getting crystals for cheaper price.

 

The best methods would be involving using drug limiters, removing drug kits and placing penalty on drugs. I know it's been said and done but it'll never happen because of TO $$$ money policy.

 

I give up on this game. :wacko: I feel stupid even if I throw in $ before, but I think it's the right way to go. I feel that the pain isn't worth it advancing to except for getting better M3 and using more drugs.

So recently, right before I post this actually, I was playing an ASL Mode Happy New Years! Map and there was this dude in the battle. Let me tell you his wonderful story...

 

I just joined the battle, his score 200 something and mine, well, 0. My friend and I recently came up with a strategy for attacking if you are the red team, which is take two M3 Hornets and M2+ Firebird, and sneak around the side and storm the blue base with double damage and start spraying. I asked my team if anyone had those tank requirements and this dude, I believe his name was , and as you can see, he is a Generalissimo rank. I had my M3 Hornet-M2 Firebird equipped and he said he had it as well. I asked him to get it, and immediately he accused me of being a noob, saying "this isnt hornet fire noob mult leave please", without any sort or prior knowledge of what I was doing. Btw, nobody else on the team responded. Guess what combo he was using? Yeahhhhh the ultimate PRO M3 Dictator-M3 Twins, full drugging, 12345.

 

He kept saying "noob mult look at your score, you think youre (<hhh he spek de english very good<) pro?" He kept on being very sarcastic, saying "yup his strategy is the reason he has a high score" (My score was like 200 and his was 400, but keep in mind he was playing much longer than me, in a 30 minute round. I joined at around 5-10 minutes left. So I am at about half his score in 6x less time than him and I am a "noob mult"?  :huh: ) He said, "freaking noob jst here to mult' " (<Literally like that) So I responded exactly: "you dont know any strategy; you dont have any skill; all you do is press 12345 all day long and call that skill and strategy" Y'all can read the rest in the screenshot I took and I will also provide a screenshot of the scoreboard.

 

We lost that round.

 

So if you didn't feel like reading all that, here's a summary :P:

-I'm in a ASL mode battle, joined at 5-10 minutes left.

-Dude is in the battle, Gissimo rank and M3 Dictator/M3Twins, drugging

-I ask if anyone has the tank I need for my strategy, he responds affirmatively.

-I ask him to get it, he responds with "noob mult this isnt hornet fire leave"

-We get into an argument, he says "hhh very high score good strategy" I say "you dont know any strategy; you dont have any skill; all you do is press 12345 all day long and call that skill and strategy"

-End of story

 

Just a little story for you guys to show how absurd these druggers are and how blinded they are by their love for drugs to the point where they become so ignorant and assuming and be a nuisance to other players. You guys decide his fate. :)
