There are several kinds of people that would embrace such an attitude. Rich adults that want a quick release from job anxieties, spoiled brats that have their parents' credit cards all theirs and they don't know how to behave, or simply sadistic people that need to smash others in order to feel ok with themselves.

Whatever the case, it's Tanki economy that allows or even promotes such huge difference in power.

Supplies' kits and special premature kits and all about power (combos, MUs, paints, supplies)... The rest of us are meant to be the sandbox for the top buyers' satisfaction.

 

Like I have said, I wait for Unity. What kind of economy will that be? If it is like this one, I'm gonna miss Tanki :P

Game Experience in Unity Tanki = (Current Game Experience in Flash Tanki + Better Graphics) * More Drugging.

I fear the same thing will happen on the new TO, but however there might be new game modes that may or may not reduce the power of drugs.

 

For now, it's getting unplayable with playing without drugs past the lieutenant ranks. Even if opponent is winning by a large margin, I still get hammered without mercy. :o

 

Some say 'Go Pro battle pass' but at my ranks, I don't see any PRO battles.

 

Guess I'm stuck then.

 

T.O. need pll who pay a lot of money to use drugs, or get their upgrades. Thats clear. But ive seen it on several online games, if money alow players to get advange against skilled players, skilled players get bored.

 

There is a way to avoid this problem:

 

Make between the pro-pass and kits  an other thing to buy , i call it sober-kit

If u have this one u can use it in batlle by pressing the number 6

When one player use this one, all players cant use drugs for 60 seconds (more or less) contdown 30 seconds(more or less)

Ofcourse those kits need to be real expensive, because T.O. need to have incoming cash to persist.

 

Just a figment of me to think about.

After the update that allowed MUs to be in progress while the item is in use, everybody started to MU like crazy.

The result, top ranks like Fieldmarsals or Commanders that end  up mostly in Gssimo battles, have found a new level of difficulty. Most gssimos have MU their combos and the result is devastating even without supplies.

I have often been oneshoted by railgun, even when I use prodigi, or by thunder even when I use rustle...

That's not a complain though.

However, I did propose in a topic that old Gssimos should have their own battles, without messing with lower ranks. There are enough of them to play by themselves.

It's already OP when someone with fully MU'ed equipment can one shot me with several different turrets (pretty much even with Hornet M3 I get one-shotted by upgraded Thunder, Rail, Smoky, or Shaft). Then to pile DD on top of that? Ridiculous.

 

No turret should really ever be able to one shot another tank. If this game was really balanced even a single direct shot from any of those should still leave you with enough health to have at least one chance to fire back.

But separating gismos battles is not enough now anymore. With kits at Brigadier (jackhammer, medic and the thunder/viking kits) M3 kits are available. So you are potentially equal to a gismo, especially if you pay to M4 them. Let's remember that brigadier is 8 ranks before gismo and less than half career in terms of XP.

So, the situation is even worse!

drugging is like gambeling, if you loose while u drug or drug to much or play to long battles u loose many cry, thats reason why i prefer PRO-battles with drugs off those days.

I had a battle I was in yesterday get raided by a group of mindless M4 druggers . They came in with 3 m4 mammoth vulcans with their little cling on viking isidas plus some m4 viking twins combos and completely humiliated our team. Full m4 all on DD are almost impossible to beat. Zero sportsmanship. We should have left as soon as they showed up but we where to stubborn or stupid, I'm not sure which now. The really dumb thing is I regognize these guys and this is what they do all the time. They seem to get a thrill out of it.  They didn't need to use any supplies to win but that didn't matter. To me this is like a professional team of athletes going to a high school, pulverizing them and proclaiming how great they are.

Well at least it does teach us about the way the world works. "Money Buys Power"

If this issue is not addressed in the Unity version, I'll be looking for other entertainment too.

Lately i've been playing more on PRO battles (specially XP/BP Polygon CP, I go in there like 1/2 hour and win allways at least 500-1k crystals (even if my team loses)...But after a while thta type of battles gets boring, so I go to the normal ones xD

my current strategy is: I buy the PRO pass, earn as much crystasl as I can (of course) and try to have only supply rewarded missions...then when my PRO pass runs out I will have a considerable amout of drugs, to spend on normal battles xD

You should have left immediately. One Vulcan is tolerable, but two or more ruin the battle completely. You can no longer do anything anywhere if they drug.

You aren't expected to make a profit from buying supplies; unless you spend wisely of course. But then again, you think people are really expecting to make a profit from a drug kit? Think again; they buy supplies so they can use them and enjoy feeling powerful. Supplies will definitely not be removed, But occasionally, you can drug back too. I've seen some people mindlessly use Repair Kits like water. Did I care? No. It's their supplies, and they spend it how they want to; even if it means obliterating the other team.

That is actually wrong. It is easier to earn exp when you don't spend most of your time respawning or fighting invincible tanks.

My question is, why is it so hard to get people to play regular style battles but use a PRO pass? I'm not very good at XP so I don't get to play PRO battles much.

Well at the time there were no other open battles. Originally I was on the red team and it was 6 versus 1 (10-0 flags) so I switched to blue. Otherwise had I remained on red I would have gotten no XP at all since there was no opposing team. I kept looking for something that was open but as usual the choice of available battles has declined sharply over the past 6 months.

 

Also in the prior battle he got his butt handed to him by a fully drugged opposite team so by playing this battle I made him burn through a lot of repair kits. :P
