Hey guys, I wanted to discuss buying crystals, and I couldn't start start a new topic in the FAQ, so I decided to post this here.

I have an idea that in Tanki, you should be able to buy a certain amount of crystals, according to your rank. To clear that up, here are some examples.

In the higher ranks, (Major+) Paints and upgrades start getting expensive. But when you go to buy crystals, they are still the same amounts as they were when you first started at recruit. So i think depending on your rank, you should be able to buy more crystals than you could when you first started, because if you are trying to buy a M3 or M2, you'll have to pay more money than you did when you payed crystals to upgrade your ricochet to M1. Also, in the realy low ranks, The amount of crystals you can be able to buy should be less, because if you have 3 dollars, you can buy 5000 crystals, which is a HUGE amount down in those ranks, and you would be able to upgrade a bunch of stuff to quickly, which is unfair to the other players that don't buy crystals.

You're right, and I want this idea to be implemented in the game

I'm going to quit Tanki if I find out they just implemented something that'll make them broke.

And why would they do that? I'm pretty sure the developers are clever enough to realise that it might not be a good idea to add something that will make them lose most of their profit.  :P

Anyway, I don't see the point in this idea - why limit the number of crystals one can buy if they are already limited on equipment they can have, due to their rank? If you just want to get rid of druggers on low ranks you can suggest a limited number of supplies one can have at a certain rank, e.g. no more than 300 each at the first few ranks, then no more than 500, then 1000, then 2000 and finally 5000 at generalissimo.

When it comes to the transfer of money, the consumer is always in the right. Thus, they deserve to spend as much as they want. esp. for a free browser game like Tanki.
