poor freeze, poor wasp..

So Wasp was nerved the 4rd time in a row.

A wasp is not a very popular tank on the battlefield.. and now it was nerved again.

so we have:

- some auto-aiming update so now Ricos and smokeys hit me more easy even when I pass by at maximum speed

- flipping (changed a little.. but skilled players can flip you very effectivly on purpose. Higher ranks = MANY of skilled players)

- nitro increases turret turning speed - harder to dodge

- higher demage on mid/heavy hulls

 

balance should be about "effectivity on the battlefield".. while the equal/unequal distriution should just reflect personal preferences.

I tried to use speed yesterday on mammoth/ thunder in island when freeze approached me i was quiet impressed the turret could keepUp with the other tank i was trying to destroy but then i had to sacrifice not using double armour for the next 15secs... overall i think we need to spend more time using speed boost and adjusting our time calculations of using supplies to take the full advantage of this update. I like this update

It is taking me longer than I thought to adjust to this.  Previously I could swing the turret and tank in the same direction and shoot in the 1/10 second it was on target.  Now I always miss.

increase of realoading speed would make it really more usefull.

But imagine using double demage with Nitro then.. a deadly overpowered combination..

How about this: If they make it so Speed boost decrease your reload time, in order to make those people saying "freeze is nerfed" happy, freeze could also make you reload slower? Yeah, I think I like that... Speed boost decreases reload time, while freeze increases reload time when enemy tanks are frozen...

Making freeze reduce the enemies tank reload time would really help. A Freezer tries to stay behind the enemiy.. but it dies not work always. So your idea would help the freeze in this cases.

 

The problem is that Freeze is currently nerved only in druged wars due to the new nitro.. while it would then be slightly overpowered in non drug wars.

Being a freeze user this make me think of changing weapons. freeze has been getting disadvantaged more and more, its becoming harder to finish in a good spot on the leader board.

the last thing anyone wants is an overpowered freeze. Heck remember the pre-frozen time of freeze before the big update where it took forever for freeze to unfreeze? It was such an annoying weapon.

he is not asking to overpower freeze.

He points out, that freeze (which is nowadays in my opinion balanced) is getting underpowered more and more (flipping, autoaim for Rico on fast tanks passing by, additional health for larger hulls and the nitro effect on the turret).

 

Noone who is a little more mature wants any of the weapons beeing overpowered. It makes the game boring and anoying over time.

 

Each weapon should have a simmilar chance to win on the (propper!) battlefield.. but for ech weapon you need different tactics. It needs the players brains to move in a way, to wait, to lure the enemy, to attack from behind, tu rush out and attack.. - whatever it takes to turn the situation into his personal favor.. into a situation that suits his weapon.

What are you talking about? There is no auto-aim for Rico. Your opponents are just getting better at tracking and leading.(And/or you're getting predictable at driving)

Thats true, but I was just pointing out the old freeze and how OP it was. It drove me nuts!

WAS overpowered. Now it's under powered. Non-freeze users might still find it annoying, but have you ever seen a freeze top a battle after the nerfs without using supplies? As a freeze user, I find gaining exp very slow with it as compared to other turrets. Heck, even my thunder m1 does a LOT better than it in battles. What is OP right now is firebird. Funnily enough, I don't see anyone complaining about that. Might have to do with the fact that 60% of players at my rank use firebird m2.
