Lets discuss new Score Multiplier Passes

You may all think the SMP's are a great thing, but the truth of why they changed them isn't what you think. This will cause a huge problem as time goes on. Players will be ranking too quickly, and will not be able to buy the equipment to match the new ranks unless they buy crystals. So Tanki can tell you they did this for "you" but in reality they did it for "themselves". By allowing players to rank faster it will force them to become buyers if they want to stay competitive at the high ranks. So in a few months, those of us already at the high ranks will have lots of under equipped players in our battles. This will ruin game play or for those who play for the "team aspect" and it will discourage these rapid rankers because they can't compete, but it will be good for those players who get a thrill out bullying under equipped players.  

 

With the latest updates Tanki is "Free to Play" only at low ranks. Non-buyers will not make it very far in this game.

It is nothing more then a marketing strategy. They offer players something most players can't resist, the ability to rank quicker at a cheap cost. However they don't tell you about the problems you will face once you achieve these higher ranks but can't compete because your equipment no longer matches your rank. You can't lower your rank, so you have 3 options,

1. play with underrated equipment until you earn enough crystals to buy better stuff.(not a lot of fun, trust me)
2. become a buyer so you can buy better stuff. ( a very costly option, again trust me)
3. abandon the account you messed up and start over.

Well I guess there is a 4th option. Get so frustrated with this game that you leave all together. I have seen quite a few players choosing this option lately and many are very high ranks, even a few Gens. 

 

I agree with you. Unless you plan on becoming a buyer, do not buy an SMP. Relax and enjoy the lower ranks because you can't go back, unless you start a new account.

 

By bullying, I meant relentlessly destroying a player because you overpower them. Everyone goes for the weak guy but when you keep doing it over and over again knowing they can't beat you because they are under equipped, that is being bully and kinda cowardly as well.

By bullying, I meant relentlessly destroying a player because you overpower them. Everyone goes for the weak guy but when you keep doing it over and over again knowing they can't beat you because they are under equipped, that is being bully and kinda cowardly as well.

I am a buyer and I really liked having the score multiplier pass, used it from warrant officer 5 and on, it is much better that the old buy exp that they had before, at least you have to work and gain experience to advance faster.

We have removed the old Score Multiplier Pass and replaced it with 3 new ones: a 30% multiplier pass for 2500 crystals, a 50% one for 5000 crystals, and a 100% one for 15000 crystals. As a result, a 30% boost to experience now costs one fifth of the old price, while for roughly the price of the old pass, you’ll get twice as much experience!

 

The change is primarily aimed at those who want to rank up faster, or get access to a specific weapon as soon as possible, for example, in time for a sale.

Since there is no more rankup party for us, we have like 2M score party, 3M score party, or like 4M444, 444 score party.

Be sure, enough players will get baited and realize when it is too late ;)

 

but it is ok from Tanki, each individual has to learn. Some learn in advance.. others out of mistakes :)

I'm not interested in increasing my XP any faster, but I really like the idea of earning double crystals, like we had during the last sale.

I would love to have the option of buying a pass for earning more crystals during gameplay. How about that?
