This changes are bad . In 15 min Polygon CP these alerts was more than "Our team have cap the A point"

 

15 min of "Doing great!" or "Do something" ....

 

Plz change some things , and make these sistem work as it must .

 

Not after every CP lost or win , your team lose or win in 3 min .

Totally agree... It happened the same to me. I hope they change it. I don't like this the way it is... Time changes to 3min all the time, and the sound is annoying (sounding all the time)... not good...

I have to say the early battle finish is a good idea on paper but in practice its out of control 10 times on then off in 1 battle so 20 sirens its not doing what it says on the tin, not a fan of it in its current state and I'm talking to so many players saying the same thing 

 

Before the update it didn't go off when you expected it to and you had to wait an eternity, or it went off after the first kill in battle every time. Now its way to much, it detracts from battle play. If this is the final version it will significantly change my game experience to what can only be described as scraping your nails over a chalk board to get the high pitched squeal that sets your teeth on edge.

 

On a positive note, the little red clocks you can see are cute 

I like the fact of red clocks on battles to see if it is ending or not. But not of the sirens... Like you said, I think is out of control too...

Game cannot make up its mind.  Is it ending or not?  In a 10-minute batte it triggered 30 times.

 

And OMG stop the SIRENS!!!    So awful.

 

Epic fail on this programming.

I make my words yours. Stop the sirens all the time... Game is going crazy now.

I have to agree with just about everything that has been said here so far.  I was in several battles earlier today, and the EXTREMELY LOUD AND ANNOYING klaxons/sirens were sounding constantly, even in a game where no flags had been captured by either side, and the alerts were saying to "hurry up".  I just ranked up, but this constant annoying noise might almost be enough for me to end my military career.  A less drastic option might be to play with the sound off, but all the sounds of destroying and being destroyed is a fun part of the game.  We shouldn't have to resort to that tactic.  Turn off, or at least reduce the frequency of the warning sounds and just flash the titles across the top of the screen, like happens now, but without the annoying sounds.

 

There, I feel better now that I have vented.

 

Back to battling.

The old system was not very usefull as the timer activated too late.

but the new one is worse..

1) the timer is activating and deactivating too frequently in a round... and that is very irritating

2) many battles are being ended early unnecessorilly. Today I played a Highway CTF. the score was 1-1  still it ended     early. the outcome of the battle was not at all confirm.

3) if it was a unwanted fault of the developpers... it would be better if it is kept off untill it is fully developed... this is very annoying!!!

the  system works so many times.  now that it has been changed it triggers so much than necessary. last time i have been to a game it triggered 21 times and it was not necessary of course. tanki please do something it is like having an endless battle with alarms.

We have changed the way the system for ending obvious battles sooner works. Now, it evaluates changes in the teams’ balance faster and more precisely, as it only evaluates the last several minutes of a battle, which are the ones that matter the most. Additionally, the earlier finish is now supported in PRO battles, where the feature can be enabled or disabled in the battle creation menu.

Improvement is required ASAP.

 

All the time the siren accompanies the battle, for both sides. I guess, you should tune it a little less sensitive.  :rolleyes:

This sucks :(

 

Siren is too loud and too often(every 30 seconds) without any visible reason: score difference is 1-2, both side have same number of players!

 

Game is ruined with this! Fix this ASAP!

  I think there is glitch when I played - We were winning capture the flag and the timer had started to end early, then every time we captured another flag, the timer would be removed. I would think if you are continuing to win even more, then the timer should keep going. Just wanted to let someone know about this.  :D

BEST stupid and useless update X(

 

In CP mode you hear all time these stupid alarms , for 1 kill or 1 cap of point ! And More than this - if you try to take over , you will lose bcs after 50x alarms of Win - Lose the clock will end . 

 

 

BEST USELESS UPDATE EVER !

Why don't you guys (Devs) keep two distinct servers for special modes?

 

One server for implementing new updates and perform all tests in real mode battles (I mean not the test server where everybody is generalisiimo etc) untill a well balanced game is accomplished, and

 

another server for special maps only (Oldies that many players constantly ask you to return them), such as Moon silence etc.

 

Ok, maybe forget the second, although I think it's a good idea.

But the first, is good. Say, Ru 29 is for new updates, every time you want to apply a new update, you do it only for 29, see how it goes and perform possible changes, untill it's ok. Then you pass the update to all other servers.

 

Or is it not practical for keeping both versions at the same time? I don't know game programming, maybe what I said doesn't make sense...

Something is wrong with the system.Probably needs fine tuning.First time playing with updated system and game finished earlier and other team won the game because they were leading , but we were those who were making rapid progress and system did not recognized that and finished the game.

It seems to me that the system is not working properly.  The battle enters the special mode too soon.  This can be observed just by watching at the battle list.  A CTF battle is in normal mode, 2 to 3 and suddenly in just seconds it is in "emergency" mode and the score is just 4 to 3, and one abstains from joining the battle because of this. This difference doesn't justify ending the battle sooner.

 

Apart from this it is common that some people leave battle.  There are players who like to continue the battle, despite the numeric advantage of the enemy.  I think it is a good idea to end the battle sooner when it is totally lost, but not too soon.

The "updates" are ANNOYING; I just played 3 matches of CTF where the teams were balanced (5-6 players per team), and the score was tied

(1-1) but the dammed horn kept blaring every 30 seconds. This is extremely unnecessary and distracting.

If there was a discrepancy of 3-4 players between teams and/or 3-4 points in the score, I could see it,

but the reality is, the score is already displayed in-game, so there's no need to have a horn blare to alert us.

If you were to have the number of Blue & Red team members listed above or below the score (on screen),

rather than having to press Tab, we could see it and not need an alarm sounding all the time.

I like the update but still it's not good.. Now alarm rings every 30 seconds rufly.. and all those sounds are too anoying.. every time I touch enemy flag... wiwiwiwiwiwiwiw.. enemy returns the flag.. wiiiiiiiiii... and the same thing goes over and over again.. sometimes even 2 sounds crash each other and sounds more like broken alarm.. :/ I have to play with sounds off.
