i agree with you... i can't keep up with the posting speed too, but the problem here is that, if we don't have the capability of doing so, then that means we are unfit to be admins, because lot of posts will be missed and we will not be doing the job properly. that's why it's important to have someone else who can afford to be more active like dfl or great killer as admin.

 

Turbo i'll give you a cookie, if you tell me what exactly does 1v1 prove .-. . If 1vs1s really proved something, why dont they have 1v1 tournaments on starladder? .-.

individual skill perhaps? Skill in a particular map? 

btw, they don't have all turrets allowed for starladder either. I don't know why they shouldn't, because more weapons leads to more diverse and intense gameplay, but they still haven't made the change.

it really sucks though. That most sl tournaments are based on the same boring old xp format all the time

btw i seem to have answered your first question of 1v1's. so it may show some skills. Don't change that question now to applying to starladder.

and yes, they DO test individual skill. skill in aiming, etc. which is required in a team battle too.

if you say this is not true, then what's the proof to say that they test TEAM skill in battles.

The thing that i'm pretty sure of though is that they don't test skills in other turrets. THat's one thing that can be confirmed

I encourage people to use spoilers no one wants to see a huge text if they don't want to even if its a game some rules have to be followed, I will monitor his behaviour if he is too aggressive ill correct him.

SUGGESTION: If testing still depends on 1v1's with trainers wtth new members, then i would suggest to pick maps such as garbo... something so that these players show their true skill because they have to work with completely new settings and bring out skill in the player. Because they will be playing in a map they haven't gotten used to.

That's why playing maps such as sandbox isn't such a good idea.
