I personally agree with you, in many maps there are way to many drop zones spread out all over the place. Twenty seconds isn't always enough time. The maps Rio and Silence are great examples. It is nearly impossible to find the symbol without quite a bit of luck, and I think that the drop zones in these maps should be revised. However, the developers won't revert the zones to the old ways.
