Ping Problems

So I've been playing tonight and my ping goes up really high really randomly. I refresh the page. When I join back, everyone else has left and has joined again, implying that they had to refresh as well.

Have you tried the solutions in the FAQ section of the forum?

 

If you did and it still won't work, I recommend you to either:

 

1. Give your computer a rest so it won't cause any more problems (overheating, etc.)

2. Restart your internet. (Turn the modem off and turn it back on)

3. Turn off other programs that may cause Tanki to work unstably.

4. Change your default browser to something else.

 

If those don't work, well, get a new computer or get better internet are probably the most reasonable options.

I was playing on RU1, on a Polygon XP/BP. Anytime my ping had problems I refreshed my page. It went back to normal. I asked around and at least 5 others also had to refresh.

It was probably because server RU1 was over-crowded. Plus, polygon is a quite big map, and so, it causes increase in PING. If you want to decrease your in-game PING, read this.

No, I just experienced this myself, on my main [member-Lankbouv]

 

Everyone left and rejoined due to lag.....it's not
