Scary angry faces all over the battlefield! Still better than anger in the chat.

I think the idea that kayitsiz is a good idea and like for example if someone is in a clan, and the clan rules is inactivity for 2 weeks causes kicked out so... can you disscuss it with semyon if it will be updated in the game!

Thanks,ARCIV14

Nice to see you proposing somethng here :)

I like the idea.

As I like to sneak up enemies base, I would use this  most if the time.

And if a girl is spotted I bet the battle is full of those

Great would be, if it still works on a dead tank that was just killed.

Must be cool so see a  over a dead tank when I killed one, or to post a  :P if I made a thunder self desctruct by shoting my wasp :)

If the emoticon is visuable only after I respawned, then the "communcation" gets lost.

sounds like real fun :)

ps:

Please make sure, it does not clong up the visibility of my aim, like the flags do today for their carrier (link)

Nice! The first time I see a GD suggest an idea that he himself can implement..... :P

Although, I would like to have hotkeys, such as:

  • : )
  • ; )
  • >: D
  • : (
  • >: (
  • DX
  • : D
  • XD
  • - _ -
  • :\
  • :|
  • : O
  • >_>
  • ^ _ ^
  • <3
  • o_O
  • O_O

These would pop up if you wrote them in chat, those are the ones I can think of right now. (I had to edit them so they would appear correctly.)

Also, the forum emoticons can be written like :lol : so why not add those? ;)

Good idea.

This would overcome the language barrier between players, and also make localised communication a lot easier to understand. (E.G. When you want to quickly signal to nearby players that you're going for the flag, or when you need assistance defending.)

You can't insult anybody by emotion icons, untill I made offensive icon for you.

Why would I do that? :D

If this comes to tanki, I woudn't even care about chat anymore lol and my karma would be super clean

- player can always turn them off by settings menu

Then I don't see any downside of your idea.

emoticons can be very entertaining, although some guys don't want it to block their view when fighting enemies.

Nice idea!

Making actual smiley faces would hurt the idea of "I am the tank". How about making it look like MGS games does?

If you are going to add this type of personalization to the game, there are better ways to do it. For example, alowing players to customize tanks a bit, like.....adding a shark fin on firebird or wings like special edition hornet we had a while ago.
