People get more XP and cry for killing heavier tanks

Hi guys,

the best way to make experience is killing.

But,when people kill heavy tanks,they get 10 XP for each kill of any enemy,which is quite unfair.

So,why not make these changes:

 

Killed Wasp - 10 xp and 2-4 crystals (+5 xp and crystals for each supply activated by the killed tank in his current lifetime)

Killed Hornet - 12-15 xp and 5-10 crystals (+5 xp and crystals for each supply activated by the killed tank in his current lifetime)

Killed Hunter - 15-20 xp and 10-15 crystals (+5 xp and crystals for each supply activated by the killed tank in his current lifetime)

Killed Viking - 20-30 xp and 17-20 crystals (+5 xp and crystals for each supply activated by the killed tank in his current lifetime)

Killed Dictator - 30-35 xp and 22-25 crystals (+5 xp and crystals for each supply activated by the killed tank in his current lifetime)

Killed Titan - 40-50 xp and 30-40 crystals (+5 xp and crystals for each supply activated by the killed tank in his current lifetime)

Killed Mammoth - 50-100 xp and 40-55 crystals (+5 xp and crystals for each supply activated by the killed tank in his current lifetime)

:excl: Note that this is not really the amount.The amount of experience points and crystals for these hulls will be thought by the devs.But,the heavier the killed hull,the bigger the prize!!!

 

 

Dont forget to warn me when this is in game!!!

Even I had thought of this idea. Like earlier, isida was give points based on percentage of health revived by it. Due to this isidas healed light Hulls since it was faster.

This was later changed to amount of he's revived by it. Why not do the same for damaging a Hull??

I don't think that tankers should be crystals for killing players because the current system of battle funds works perfectly well, plus there would have to be a wide range of different rewards depending on the micro-upgrades and modifications of different hulls. I am indifferent, however, to the idea of more experience points. I can see the justification behind the idea but not particularly a necessity for it to be put into the game as I think many players are perfectly content with the game as it is...

Theorically, mamoth and wasp have the same chance to survive...

What I would like to see implemented, though, is more experience given for killing a player, who activated supplies. Something like +5 xp for every supply that the enemy used in their current lifetime. So for killing a tank that used 2 nitro, a mine, 2 repair kits, a DA and a DD, you would get (10+5*7) 45 XP excluding the team support bonus.

I think this is a good idea. Because it is not fair that you get the same amount of xp and points for killing harder tanks. Maybe this could apply to tanks with higher ranks as well.

I would give no direct crystals to the player.. but I can imagine of giving more crystals to the battle fund.

I like the idea, that a heavy hull gives you more XP. If an M2 mammuth with a nice protection, rico and double armour sits on the flag it is really hard to kill it.

 

But I would not over-emphasise that. A agile small hull with a decent weapon in skilled hands is a deadly weapon too.

So I would propose to:

 

  • wasp, hornet - 9 xp
  • hunter - 10 xp
  • viking, dictator - 11 xp
  • titan, mammuth - 13xp

As there are "soo much more" hornets around then titans and mammuths (tanki told us so..) the overall xp gain per player / per battle should be the same.

Interesting.....

 

I can see power-levelers using this as a way to get free crystals.

I meant this as a bad aspect to the idea.

 

Mults would bring a Mammoth M0 to a battle and just get tons of XP and Crystals. I don't know about you, but I consider that unbalance.

an idea long thought about that should be implemented, something like 150hp=10points(shared or solo)(doesnt count for DA)

why kill mammoths when there are plenty of wasp and hornets... and recently med/heavy hulls get boost in hp

As I stated above, I think this linear calculation is not usefull.

 

For an instance take a wasp-freeze -vs- mammuth-rico.. and use your aproach of distributing XP:

When some other tanks are around as well, the freeze sneaks up and takes out the mammuth getting full score.

On the other hand the mammuth has a hard time against the wasp.. but if he manages to kill him once, he gets only soo less..

 

-> I think this is not fair. Light tanks are also a tough challenge (except the drive up to you and shot and dont move.. ok..)

-> therefor I suggested an XP model like in my post above

Your model is good , but it should be somewhat like wasp gives 10 exp, hornet gives 2 more than wasp, hunter gives 2 more than hornet and so on. Mammoth would give 22 exp then. If the kill is shared, then the hull should give the original amount of exp + 50% of the original exp. Example: Wasp would give 10+5=15 exp, hornet would give 12+6=18,...., mammoth would give 22+11=33 exp. This would ensure that people have incentive to target heavy hulls as well instead of always targeting light hulls.

Know what? I started of with the same figures before I posted.. then I realized that this would increase the overall amount players would receive.

And this would disbalance the "earned crystals - to - earned xp" ratio.. and so would all go bankrupt :)

Therefor I reduced it to the figures above
