Let's Discuss Me!..........not

Tanki recently uplifted the rule that prevented people from talking about specific players. Well, since then, the Off-Topic Discussion has been flooded with "Let's Discuss Me" or "Let's Discuss Him/Her." I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this suggestion, but can the forum administrators implement a rule that says something along the line that players who make topics cannot produce a topic just for one specific individual no-matter who the individual is? Topics like "Good bye" or "I'm leaving the forum" are different in that players want to acknowledge and tell their friends that they won't be as active as they used to and are eventually closed by the moderators. However, these one-man topics in my opinion don't really benefit the players more they only benefit the featured individual.

We had a discussion about this yesterday. At the moment it's already not allowed to create topics about a particular player, especially if it's specifically intended to discuss somebody else. Such topics get locked fairly quickly, but don't hesitate to report if you think we missed any. Also it's likely that a few more topic types will be banned soon to prevent flood. That includes topics like "X vs. Y" (yes, I'm talking about your gun comparison topics), "Player's garage analysis", "What do you like/hate (about something)" and more. These are the kinds of topics that are very specific and therefore don't provide much opportunity for discussion without going off-topic. There are alternative places to have similar discussions or there will be, if new prohibitions on content are made.

Absolutely right, I agree that the off-topic discussion section should not focus on individual players in the sense you are talking about. I do think, however, that a few topics could be classified as part of the creativity section and moved, but most of the topics promote flame, flood, and most of them go Off-topic. <--The irony. :P

Haha I'm just following the rules lol. But I agree to bring back that rule where you can't. Talk about any specific player it's just going to Bering more flood and pointless topics like mine haha
