How come about 2 months ago there were crystal boxes 1-100 but only for some people. Why were they not just 10 and why did i not see them at WO3? This happened durring the experiment of drop targets on ground.

Semyon, What's the rating for?

Rating = Sum of the player's topic score + (Sum of the player's comments score)/10

I think I can easily make it to gismo without buying any crystals. I just need to avoid being a punching bag.

Haha, I used to think I could one day attain Generalissimo, but now... with all my work... I-yi-yi, who knows? But in contrast, who cares? It's better to have been around and actively engaged rather than simply rush through the ranks, in my experience at least. :)

Just seen the poll on the home page.

Have you already used the new Q&A site?

Yes, I found the answer to my question in the Knowledge Base

Yes, I asked the question and got the answer

Yes, I asked the question but haven't received the answer yet

No, I haven't used the Q&A site yet

I didn't know there was a Q&A site

Which answer should i pick, yes i have been there but only to take a look, no answer in the poll for me.

In this case the poll is not applicable to you.

why the gold box dosent drop so much

Actually Gold Boxes fall more than ever nowadays. Given the removal of Crystal Drop Boxes, all of those crystals that would have fallen to the ground, get added to the fund meaning the fund now grows faster. Every time the fund grows the server runs a random number generator to decide if it will drop a Gold Box. There are 7,000 of these numbers thrown into the system, but only one will result in a Gold Box being dropped.

Thank goodness that all questions are on pre-moderation now!

Yes, I certainly liked the change. Now topics will be filed through, and the appropriate topics that make sense shall be published for the world to see. :)

This is because the battle fund for lower ranked players did not grow that quickly in comparison to higher ranked players. This was not an error on the part of the server, but rather that at lower ranks players were not killing each other quickly enough to drop a larger value crystal box. Based on the growth rate of the fund, different values of crystals boxes were falling. As a matter of fact, the reason this whole update was added was for higher ranked players who kept running for masses of crystal boxes laying on the ground. Either way, it is of no practical matter now given that crystal boxes have been removed permanently.

Great job answering the questions. How do you change the e-mail that receives notifications?

Again, the intense irony of asking questions here. :D But moving on; the notifications you receive on the Help site are sent to the e-mail linked to your Tanki Online account, and they are bound as such. If you'd like to receive fewer notifications, then go to your notifications settings and set the sections you wish to not be notified of as a 'minus symbol'. And if the notifications persist to be an issue with sending you too many messages via e-mail, you can divert the e-mails sent by the site to a different location such as a particular folder within your own e-mail. This way you won't think that someone keeps sending you bundles of messages all the time, and then load the page only to learn it is an automated system.

Very sorry but thank you.

I invited a friend to play this game, to see if  he likes it. I sent the invitation a long time ago (about 5 months). He is still a "Recruit" rank. How can I remove him from "Invite a friend" -> "Invitation statistics" ?

Nope, anyone who joins the game through your invite link will forever appear in your "Invitations Statistics" list, unless of course, their account is deleted, which is highly unlikely to ever happen.

The only way an account can get deleted is by leaving it inactive for six months, right?

Actually, with the new revised EULA, the period of time is now several years. Furthermore, just because you have no logged in for three years, does not necessarily imply that your account will be deleted, just that it may from that point outward be deleted.

i looked  up

who is semyon kirov and didn't find it :3

..the answer should be da boss if someone asks it

Lol, I'll consider adding it. Though on a more serious note, it would be good to be able to look up the names of such individuals who play a key role in our community.

I thought the developer team topic serves the purpose.

Do you have to log into the game or is logging on the forum OK?

A purpose - yes. The purpose, given the above context - no. The Team list, for which you speak of, only shows those working on the site, and that's it. It gives no insight as to what role Semyon plays in our community as the CM, excreta, just that he works on the Help site. I was just mulling over if a small place should be added where a brief description of a few key players in our community is added. Not players, but people such as Semyon, Hazel Rah, Yele, FBI, Ostrica, etc.

In order to use the Help site, you simply type in your usual game username and password, and it will automatically create and load an account for you. Similar to the first time you signed into the forum.
