Thanks for response Baby_Sam, I guess you don't play a lot of CP. In CP you need to be on point to win, not hiding 50m away. This is not an option in CP. Fire power of Vulcan is so strong and mammoth speed is so slow it is hard even to survive a journey to point. That is a problem. Overheating of Vulcan is not such a big problem as it should be.

What you are saying is not true. If the distance is less than 50 meters, Vulcan is stronger by ~17%, but it has the problem of overheating. If the distance is 50-80 meters, its damage diminishes by 50% but yours diminished by 15%, so you become 50% stronger than it..

 

So, when you fight against a Vulcan, be over 50 meters away.

Actually, I only play CP. :)

 

However, usually Vulcans stand on the edge of the map and keep hitting tanks constantly. I have seen Vulcans keep firing until they explode without anybody firing at them.

 

You need to actually capture the point to get the most score, but we often do not make it there. We either get distracted by other tanks attacking us or other tanks that we have a good opportunity to destroy on the way to the point, and we get destroyed ourselves before making it there or as soon as we touch the ground there. :)

 

Not everyone gets to capture the point often. Rails and shafts are not in better shape than the Twins. Actually, you are in better shape.

 

Anyway, my point is that given everything, it makes sense for the Vulcan to be stronger than the Twins within 50 meters. You can't have the same turret perfect for close range and long range, etc. That would be unfair to other turrets. I think Firebird is perfect for CP, especially Polygon, which I play most. Despite that, I use Rico for Poly and Hammer for Island.

Actually, the issue isn't a lack of staff, or that Q&A sites tend to take a while to have topics published, but rather that there is a lot of content that needs to filed through from farther back in the past and published, or in the case of spam or already answered topics, deleted.

 

We don't necessarily need more staff, but anyone is welcome to apply. Find more information about that here: RULES OF COMPLETING A FORM

There is power and speed in numbers, though with the system I've developed, I believe the hundreds of topics will be filed through, and entirely up to date in the next two weeks. These topics did not build up due to my lack of commitment, but rather the fact that I was not involved at the time that these topics were made. Now I'm trying to keep publishing all new topics, while going back and sorting out the older ones. :)

Well, the game was conceived and designed in Russia, but the beauty of the internet is that you are not bound by your geographical location. Tanki Online now has approximately 41 million accounts registered, and while a majority of those accounts are indeed Russian, the English community makes up a huge amount of this gamer population as well.
