What is love?

The answer can easily be given in few thousand words. But I won't write that here because no one will read it -_-

In general, love is an emotion. A feeling. A feeling which ranges from affection (like love your mother) to appreciative satisfaction ( like love a particular meal) to selfless passion (like love for a job).

Unlike the popular connotation, love never fades away. If it does, it was not love in the first place. There is also no such thing as 'love at first sight'. It's just infatuation. Attraction at its basest level. From all the discussion I've read, more than 95% of people here haven't experienced love or classify the wrong emotion as love. Don't misunderstand. I'm not stopping you from trying to build up a relationship with someone you have a 'crush' on. In fact, I encourage it. It helps you to understand the mechanics of a relationship and understand emotions of other people, which does help in many stages of life.

So, go on. Do what you feel like doing and Never Be Afraid. You'll know love when you'll experience it. I'll end with a quote from one of my favourite movies:

"Love is the only thing that humans are capable of perceiving which transcends the dimensions of time and space" ;)

I like a girl (like the most people here) but I'm not sure if she likes me too (so original) and I'm afraid to tell her I like her (really?) . She's really pretty and cute (who doesn't think his "love" is pretty) . We don't speak a lot at school (uh which schoolboy speaks to his future"girlfriend") because I'm too shy (oh you are so SO original) she's not much of a shy girl (uh-uhh) ok can you shut up plz? (uh so cliche... Oh wait what!?) I said SHUT UP (hey you can't talk to me I'm your consciousness) seems I can, now stop talking I wanna explain them my problem (make me) ok that's easy (hey what are you doing? Hey... Ugh ugh heeelp!
