confirmed...cheats in tanki are back!

Just left from a 1 hour highland battle halfway because of a cheater.

 

now let me explain.

 

This is the third time i am encountering this weird thing...its hard to put it into words but its like a speed cheat but the tank skips frames and keeps on hopping...basically it gives mammoth the speed of a wasp by skipping frames and most of the shots don't register as a hit on him.

 

now before all of you claim everything is hunky dory and working perfectly let me tell you i know when i see a glitch or a lag (am 25) ...these guys (found one earlier on a serpuhov..luckily more than 5 players reported him and he got kicked out) easily capture flags and pick up drugs instantly unlike someone who might be lagging or having poor FPS.

 

There is also another cheat (getting more common) which enables a user to jump and hop mid air not just once or twice but keep on hoping mid air. This, even though not as serious as the former one, enables the user to reach places otherwise unreachable or easily catch gold mid air.

 

In-game i reported that guy using the speed cheat and jump cheat (his name is zveRruGa_BeSt) and he is a WO1 but the problem at these ranks are that even after encouraging and telling others to report the cheater and have him kicked out of the match, they simply keep on playing and try to kill him though all their efforts are in vein. Half of the players knew he was cheating but kept on saying to use mines and focus fire on him rather than simply reporting him. I asked if anyone had a video recording software installed on their computer but most of them being kids/teenagers either ignore or continue on only to get decimated. Hell two of those guys didnt even know how to report someone...i told them we need at least 5 reports for the mod to take notice but only me and one other guy from the opposite team bothered to report.

 

 

Now am not reporting that player because i do not have proof...i would have recorded a video if i had the software installed (i have one now in case i come across similar incidents in future). But what i want to point out through this post is that everything is not straight as you (mods,devs) guys claim to be. please stop shrugging off these reports (found a few more on the forums with proof (can link if need be) ) as lags or glitches. Its not fun to go against these cheaters.

 

SOLUTION: Devs will have to look into the code and guess where a loophole for such an exploit could exist or get hold of the software or application responsible for this hack.

Just keep playing and ignore those players unless you have a mechanism used to ban him because those players really just play with nothing to lose. They have the cheating software to hack the game. If they lose the account, they just make another one and the process starts all over again. Normally, cheaters don't make it past the warrant stage. Just play a bit and hackers/cheaters will start to disappear from the battle scene.

Try ranking fast !As u reach high level number of hackers will reduce .Mostly if any hackers come to game they will get kicked/banned for sure(at high rank).

Wrong, i spot 2-3 weekly at my rank up to generalnissmo, including those to skip fps frame rate (spotted 1 just now) to hop under my tank and make the whole game lag

I have seen this same thing. I reported it and was told it was lag. It wasn't. I was shooting at a member of the other team, about 2 tanks away. Suddenly, he disappeared and a second later, he was behind me, shooting at me. This was on Silence map.

 

Again, on Silence: I saw someone drive off the lower platform (outside the blue team area) down towards the dead zone (the area with the signs showing the skull and crossbones). Before hitting the ground, he hopped back up on the platform.

 

Still on Silence: The red team had quit and there were two of us left on the blue team. I was sitting on the lower platform (same one mentioned above) and saw my team mate drive off the upper tier (where the flag is), fall about half way down and then start hopping up to the top again. It took 2 hops mid air to get back up. I asked him if he was having fun playing with his hack. He said "Yeah. I'm bored."

 

On Rio I was on the red team and a member of the blue team took several hops mid air to get on top of a tall building on our side. Several of us saw him and were shooting, but either none of us hit him or he was hacked so he wouldn't take damage. Anyway, he got up to the top of the building, angled down and was killing us left and right. Again, we tried to shoot him, but we couldn't angle up enough to do any damage.

 

No, I don't have a video of any of this. I have tried to run video while playing, but it slows down my computer too much. A screenshot of the guy on top of the building might have been proof enough, but the ones on Silence would only show the guy falling, not the actual hopping.

 

Since I can't video while playing, I don't report hackers, as a rule. TO wants proof and I can't always give them the kind they want.

The report system needs to be changed, its difficult to record and report hackers at the same time while mods won't even attend to the aid, there needs to be some sort of record option or options to pick for reporting hackers and offenders, this will save the mods a lot more time

Agree. even more difficult for lower ranks, maybe a built in game recorder will be useful.
