Ideas for Turrets!

a electric weapon that will make a tank malfunction for three seconds or as long as the spacebar is held down. upgrading it will increase bolt spread and other stuff.

That could be really REALLY op, unless you give a bit more detail then i doubt there will be much discusion about your idea here. I do kinda like the general idea though. Someone ona previous page said something similar

You should be able to test a turret before you spend your crystals on it Please like my idea :)  :)

Yeah..the update the devs put out for personel discounts/test drives was....well its wasnt very good....

 

I actually had completly forgotten that it was released in the firat place around December or so.....i had ONE test drive a little after it came out for Titan M1...which is stupidly cheap anyways.......

Nice topic, I've always anticipated the coming of new turrets :)

 

That would be awesome i the devs actually did come out with anew turret...though i think that hulls are overdue. There are 11 turrets while there are only 7 hulls :/

lets say I upgrade my thunder m1 25/50 upgrade why cant I have a 50 percent discount since its 50% upgraded!!!!!!!! Guys I will like u all to please please make it be thst when u upgrade a turrent the price for the next stage will be less please it will make the game more balanced

At least mak it so that doing afully mu on a turret/hull will be the same price or less as if you bought the full upgrade.....

 

 

No, people prefer Firebird because it does something.

Not to offend the few remaining Freeze fans, but Freeze is worse than Shaft in terms of how neutered it is.

 

So i used to say freeze doesent suck..but thats in lower ranks.....which is were im in, so i figured that it would be pretty close to how it is in relation to the other turrets at M3... i was wrong... M3 sucks. I agree shaft is WAY better than freeze, and shaft isnt even that amazing....

 

I guess ill try to work on mastering freeze so i can really see how it is

Lets keep it short.

The turrent shots "waves" maybe electromagnetic waves or sound waves.

There's 4 chapters of the shooting bar, each 2 chapters start reloading until you shot both of them, and it starts one by one.

Example: The user shots 1 shot, he still has 3 shots loaded and nothing start reloading yet, he shots again, he got 2 shots left, the other 2 shots are used and they start reloading slowly one by one, the user can still shot and use the other 2 shots but they won't reload unless both are used, same concept that the first 2 have.

Why do it like this? Because the reloading will be slow, this gives it a unique way of using the gun's shots skill.

 

Range: The turrent is far-ranged, but its more complicated than just that, when you shot, the "wave" (The wave looks like a circle of sound wave that blurs the view behind it) is large, however the further the wave goes it shrinks to smaller wave, which mean it is hard to shot far-distance enemy, but the more the wave is shrink the more damage it deals, so if you managed to shot very far-distance enemy you'll deal a lot of damage, so close range shots deals weak damage, this makes this torrent very unique and requires skills to play with it, but as soon as you master it, you'll be powerful.

 

Of course this isn't the 100% turrent, this is the main idea, you guys can go 100% with it.

 

Bonus: You can give the wave a special ability, for example shaking the enemies tanks in a very massive way or their turrent or something like massive push, something between these lines that could be as a chance to be dealt on enemy, like Smoky's Critical hit.

It sounds almost impossible to put the animation in flash, and if the animation is possible, it would most likely create a large amount of lag. I like the idea of higher damage for longer distance shots though. Would definitely be unique.

U saw freeze or firebird more often?

I saw firebird.

Freeze is realy bad at all modifications.

I can escape freeze m0 with hornet m1 on my DageLV what is realy bad.

 

Actualy, u are saying that, shaft is better than freeze.

I totaly disagree.

When i played with shaft i was able to kill 1 player per 15 minute mach what isnt too great as u know..

Well, the freezeing effect being nerfed is basically what ruined freeze....but if the effect is added back in without takeing some of the damage away, then it will be op....i kinda wish the devs left freeze how it was.....maybe M4 is good though, since i remember hearing froma mod that all the turrets are fairly balenced at M4

 

About Shaft... Shaft is actually very good depnding on what map, your hull,and your shaft skills in general. Shaft is one of tye few turret that actually requires reald skill, while freeze is not good even with skill(its better, but still not that amazing to change a battle).

 

Many people say Shaft sucks because they arnt really that good at it...which is easily confused with the turret being bad in general. People think that if the turret they are useing lowers their score signifigantly and not many players are useing it(and many also have low score), then they assume it sucks in general. Thats actually a very safe thing to do sincs the turret may actually suck :P therefore it would be bad to invest time and crystals into it...... I personelly think im a pretty good shaft player. I can play with M0 is some maps ad get a nice score still :) Its nit always as good as if i was using one of my common turrets like Railgun, but its still good ebough to get a decent amount of crystals

Please add a button to turn off the lazer on the shaft and increase the muzzle velocity of the thunder. :) also please add smoke grenades.

Can be a magnetic turret which makes other tanks magnetic, temporarily as the time of after burn effect of a m2 firebird

if we go near our players, it will boost them in the direction where they are going because of same pole repulsion N-N

if we go near enemy players, it will refrain them from going in a direction where they are going because of attraction N-S pole

exp earned by both 50% of total

reload time 6 sec

and continuous use time same like m0 fire

Turn off laser on shaft????? There is a reason shaft has the laser in the first place you know.... And if the devs added a button to turn off the laser, then they may as well just remove it completly since EVERYONE would use it......... -.-

 

The laser is what make shaft non-op.... especially since its damage was increased and the ability to hold its charge(once fully charged up in sniping mode) was added to it when the laser was. If the laser is taken away now,Shaft will become one of the most op turrets in the game, and there will be sooo many campers in every map.....

 

We all want the laser gone from shaft so we cant snipe better...but nobody ever takes the time to think beyond that... your logic is that there arnt many shafts in battles, but you never understand that there will be ALOT of them if it becomes op. Its like that for EVERY item. If something becomes extremly op, everyone will want it. If everyone wants it, there will be alot of them in maps....

 

 

 

Sorry if i was ranting a bit.... im just kinda pissed annoyed that people keep saying stuff like this without actually thinking it through...
