Ideas for Turrets!

in the v-log the developers said that the addition of the two new turrets is NOT FINAL they may chose not too add them

there should be a tank that deals when it knocks onto other tanks...

I like this idea and think it could be expanded upon.

You would equip a turret that would make your hull an offensive weapon. It might look like a dome or something.

•Hull contact deals damage

•Can plant small mines (slow reload)

•Creates huge explosion upon self-destruct that damages or kills enemies, although you will die too. Would be great for crowd control and Parkour

•Creates huge explosion upon self-destruct that damages or kills enemies, although you will die too. Would be great for crowd control and Parkour

Garage Description:

Acidex is one of the best turrets for close combats. When you continously shoot at your enemy, your enemy's gun cannot shoot for three and a half seconds but he can move his tank and turret. Compared to other short ranged turrets, it has less damage but unlike other short ranged turrets, it also has impact force. Works great on small and medium hulls.

Acid? NICE! Now Acid would decrease other tanks Damage and Armor it would be great!

My suggestion is to decrease the damage of Turrents by the life level

100% Heal = 100%  Damage

90% Heal = 90% Damage

and like this until u explode :)

Hope u guys like it will be same for all :)

Here are 3 ideas for turrets. But the first idea might sound ridiculous.

 

1.Tranquilizer.

-Damage: 20.0

-Impact force: same as twins

-Range: equal to that of ricochet

-Reload time: equal to thunder

-Appearance: similar to railgun

 

The shell would look like a typical tranquilizer dart. But in team battles, the 'fluffy' part would be the color of the user's team. In DM, it'd be green

Special effects: increases reload time of the enemy's turret and rotation speed by 20%. Also decreases the range of the enemy's turret by 40%. Effects duration is 5 seconds,

If fired at close range, same effects will occur to yourself.

 

2. Hailstorm

-Damage of each rocket: 15 - 20

-Impact force: Same as thunder

-Range: equal to thunder

-Reload time: Slightly shorter than hammer. Note: Reload time after you deplete the magazine.

-Time between shots: 0.5 seconds.

-Appearance:

 

 

hailstorm fires a salvo of 6 rockets, dealing a fair amount of damage for each rocket fired. However, the rockets are slightly inaccurate. All rockets detonate, dealing area damage. Any friendly tanks caught in the fire would suffer the damage, except damage dealt to them is reduced by 20%. If fired at close range, you will suffer the same amount of damage. Note: You cannot reload until you deplete the magazine.

 

3. Starburst

-Damage: 50.0 - 65.0

-Splash damage: 20.0-30.0

-Impact force: 20% more than hammer

-Range: Same as smoky

-Reload Time: Twice as long as hammer

-Appearance: Slightly similar to thunder, except barrel size is bigger.

Starburst fires a single rocket that flies to the enemy at a dangerous speed and explodes on impact. It's rotation speed is very low. All tanks caught in the point of impact(friendly or not), will suffer splash damage, but those near the center of the point of impact suffer the regular amount of damage.

When fired at close range, you suffer splash damage, if fired close enough you suffer the regular damage.

 

Yes I know it sounds overpowered, but maybe the reload time would make up for it?

i am thinking of a turret that shoots an electric ball that when hits an enemy, it makes them unable to shoot for three seconds, as well as giving some damage. the reload would be in between rail gun and shaft. however, when shot, the enemy will still be able to move, but not shoot. the name of the gun could be powerbolt or something simalar to that. thank you for your thoughts.

the nailgun is a turret that shoots nails that lock the enemy's turret in place, meaning they cannot turn their turret, only their hulls can move. they can still shoot though. it locks their turret in place for 4 secs and the reload time is 6 secs. gives quarter damage to wasp. turret speed same as smoky. hope u like it and hope the it might be added to tanki!!!!!

This will make tankers impossible to kill from close up. we already get that problem from people who use freeze and always drug. This will be obsolete in my opinion, plus the timing for no firing is too overpowered. I will never play this game again if this becomes an option for a turret. That's just my opinion.

My idea isn't one for possible new turrets, but for the turrets we currently have. My idea isn't to change the turrets, either. My idea also includes rankings and hulls. I'm a nice and helpful guy and will randomly give players tips in game on how to use their hulls/turrets, but at my rank of Warrant Officer 5, most people know what to do with their turrets/hulls and how to use them, making my tips obsolete.

 

What I was thinking is allowing players to switch between levels of their turrets. Say I had an M3 shaft, I could change to M0 and back or to M1 and back and so on without having to pay since I have bought them all hypothetically. I only have the M1 shaft. Now, why would anybody want to do that? Well, so I could go play with low rankers, but then my ranking would get in the way. If we could switch then we wouldnt have to worry about ranking! But then gain, people could take an M3 to a battle full of recruits! Well, that could be fixed.

 

Say you can get the M1 of a random turret at say...Master Sergeant. If you switch to the M1 of that turret from the M3, you can only join battles with players of that rank and higher. Same would go for hulls. You could have that M1 turret, but if your hull is one you get at the rank of Warrant Officer 3, you won't be able to join. It too would need to be one obtained at the rank of Master Sergeant or lower. Vice Versa would apply here as well. It could be a complex thing to code, but could be useful for guys like me to go and join battles with new players and I could help people like I want to! I could give them points and tips and such.

 

As I said, this could be a difficult thing to code, but it's possible I'm sure and would eliminate the need to allow people of certain ranks within a certain parameter to play with each other. If this could be made possible I'd really appreciate it!

Having weapons that act as a mortar would ruin the game.

 

Anyways, a developer actually posted this idea:

 

A rocket launcher that, when you fire it, you could control the missile. The missile should move at about 1.5x the speed of a ricochet bullet. While in the air, you can control and guide the missile to its destination (the missile should have a lifetime of about four seconds, and then it just explodes dealing area damage around it). While you are guiding the missile to its destination, you would have no control of the tank. When the missile hits its target, the target should take the amount of damage a Railgun and/or Shaft (at full power) would normally do. Its area of effect damage should not be that significant. The missile, on impact, should have a high impact force. Long reload time.

Given the fact the shaft at full power is nearly twice as powerful than the rail gun.....why not have it deal the same damage as the shaft? Its a guided missile, it's gotta do a lot and splash damage

Everyone, in new V-Log developers said that they are planning to add 2 new turrets, and those are Rocket launcher, and Cannon. I wonder how they will make both weapons work :D

Well developers said that those 2 new turrets arent their final decisions, so that means they will probably change the ideas for both turrets. If they do then i would really like to see a turret which is similiar function to M4A1 rifle :)

Given the fact the shaft at full power is nearly twice as powerful than the rail gun.....why not have it deal the same damage as the shaft? Its a guided missile, it's gotta do a lot and splash damage

What about having a grapple gun that you can tow both teammates up off of edges and eneims into the line of fire also you could use it to swing from platform to platform and have it where while it is engaged on an enemy it poisons them???? make it to where you use the tank movement controls to aim your swing and the turent controls to lenghen and shorten the line and disengage and engage the line by pressing space with c moveing the line to a preset line length

Translation: What about having a grapple gun that you can use to sabotage your team and parkour in the middle of an actual game.
