Ideas for Turrets!

I fell like the game needs more long range turrets other than rail and shaft. Possibly something with two firing modes, click space for quick shot and hold for a weak Vulcan effect minus the over-heat. The quick shot would have amazing impact force, but low damage allowing it to guarantee a flip on wasp, hornet maybe hunter and possibly flip all other hulls from the right angles. Then hold space to shoot a continues stream of bullets, much like Vulcan with lower damage to finish them off. It would have a turning speed much slower than any other turrets, to prevent it from flipping people with the flag to easily. However reload would be similar to thunder.

You mean a fusion of Striker and Vulcan?

New Ricochet:

 

Unlimited range for shots that don't hit an obstruction.

 

10% weaker damages than today.

 

When a shot hits an obstruction and bounces it will lose 20% (could be 15) of it's damage until it disappears.

 

Advantages:

 

You can ricochet at any distance.

 

Disadvantages:

 

You'll have to aim carefully if you want to be effective with the bounces.

i have a idea of a gun and its name is laser

it will kill like isida but it can shoot from unlimited distance like railgun it is taking 10 seconds to reload and its's damage will high like more than striker means per his second shot 1000 damage i have  image for this but i will try to make more better it is maded by me and my friends we first add on facebook and then copy and paste on imgur and post here it is easy mXVIfjZ.png

It looks like you took the turret of an M1 Abraham and then made it short and stubby. :D

Love the idea though.

Ok guys,you know about the hacker turret i made? Well,I came up with a new design,instead of thunder and Vulcan smashed together,it like a square shaped turret with a long barrel like the old shaft,except this barrel looks like an energy blaster,similar to rail but not exactly rail,you know that I don't really know how the gun will look like,but the bullet will look like a small meteor speeding towards the target,faster and more realistic than twins.and I feel like 2 min corruption time is too long,I reduce it to 15 Seconds

Air gun.

There are 2 diffrent types

 

First: The air pusher

He shoots a hard air tornado, which are pushing enemys away. That could be good if a enemey with the flag is on a bridge and you blow his tank sidely out of the bridge. The enemey is suppost to self destruct. A higher modification would mean more air power and more distance. We have to think on factors depending on weight. A wasp is lighter than a mammoth. So the wasp will fly apperantly.

Also a good gun in depending on parkour!

 

Second gun: The air taker

The air taker is a gun, which takes the enemey near to him with air. If there is an enemy, who is running away, the air taker could stop him running away. The oppesite of a pusher.

 

I didnt thought about any ways to make damage. Maybe the air pusher could make damage by letting the enemey crashes towards a wall. So crash damage comes in Tanki :)

i am thinking about some unique turret.

ball of fire gather.

like rays and this turret can destroy  the enemy

Not bad, but It could be used in Gold boxes for example, so i think it should be like fire or freeze now so it can't push everyone at the same time but only players that aren't protected by other tanks.

 

 

It's a good idea but the reload, speed of the blow, damage etc makes it a hard one

And is it one quick push or constant pushing for couple of seconds?

Turbolasers, a double barrel design that looks similar to Twins but preforms differently. Unlike Twins Turbolaser would be a long range turret with good damage at all range. It will fire 2 shots at a time one from each barrel and will need to recharge. Recharge time is pretty fast about 2.5 seconds. The only con about this turret is that the bolts have a travel time. I'll be faster than Striker but you do need to lead you shots. Also the sound that this turret makes sounds just like an AT-AT from Star Wars.

How about a Bolt Action turret, the damage is slightly higher than Thunder at close range but one advantage it has over Thunder is almost no damage drop off. How it works, when you fire a shot the bolt is cock back ejecting a shell and loading in a new round. The Bolt action has a 5 round clip that is reloaded when you fired your final round like Hammer. I think it would be a cool turret on the battlefield tell me what you think.

1. My new turret: I will only tell you how the turret works and leave the designing to you.The turret will fire a lighting bolt that can pierce through tanks like the railgun but it can stagger and the attack must be charged to pierce. The fire rate will be similar to the smokey if not charged. I'm not sure how the charging system will operate yet. because of the scatter pierce it may take a while to create. It will be a lite gun unlike the railgun,thunder,striker,Ex.The m0 alteration will give the tanker faster fire rate. the second will allow it to peice upward to attack all enemies in range. the last 2 are for you to take care of.

 

2.Another new turret: This turret isn't as complicated as the last one. It will simply fire acid and put an effect that will damage and slow them down. I was debating on if This should be like this because its would be like freeze and firebird mixed together. As for alteratoins I have 2 You can make the last two. The !st alteration will allow you to put the acid affect on the ground. the last one will be for m3 it will allow you to turn the acid spray to a mid range weapon that fires balls in stead of spray.

New idea for a turret:

This is a rough prototype of my design/idea, so I may add on to it later. 

The turret's name is Venom. It is a short to mid range gun that shoots glowing projectiles. The projectiles move slightly faster than striker missiles. 

The projectiles upon impact with an enemy tank will stun the enemy and freeze it in place for 3.5 seconds. During this time, you can still move your turret and shoot, but not your hull. Your turret spin however, will have a freeze-like effect on it and turn slower. This is because the Venom projectiles contain a paralyzing agent that can temporarily disable your tank and your gun. (Hence the name Venom)

Also, when the tank is hit, the tank temporarily glows the color of the Venom projectiles for 3.5 seconds.

The projectile color varies based on the level of your Venom turret. (Venom M0 projectiles are light blue, Venom M1 is turquoise, Venom M2 is blue-green, and Venom M3 is deep green).  

The reload mechanism is very similar to ricochet. Venom can fire a total of 10 projectiles from its clip before it has to recharge. Between each shot, the delay is 1.5 seconds.  

When upgrading your gun, the time that your tank is frozen doesn't change regardless of an M0, M1, M2 or an M3 Venom. Therefore, your tank will always freeze for 3.5 seconds when hit by a Venom projectile. 

 

I will post pictures of my turret design later.

 

 

Side Note: Each projectile deals about 200-420 hp of damage, starting from M0 at 200 hp to M3 at 420 hp. The damage done is not a fixed amount, but the average damage per hit is around 200-420 hp.

I recommend you to make the clip reload time to about 5 sec.

If an M3 missile would deal 330 dmg. it would take 11 shots take an m3 titan down, that's by far too many.

Ok I will reevaluate the turret damage per hit count. The turret is supposed to be mid to long range, so distance

I am thinking of a turret that is based on Vipermonsters 'molten'

Its very similar to mines but with less damage (m0 based around 500-700 damage on a normal shot)

Also if you hold the spacebar longer it will shoot farther but with slightly more damage (600 -850  damage)

I would have the same reload as a shaft and would have 3 normal shots before reloading and 2 long shots before reloading.

It would look like hammer and would have a large barrel.

It would be very useful as a defensive turret and wouldn't be too good at attacking.

If the tank dies the molten mines would fade and die.

What do you think?
