Ideas for Turrets!

Here is an idea for a new turret, if you think this sounds overpowered or too weak, please post that in the comment section.

Keep in mind, I  do not have a name for this turret.

This turret would fire mines that stick to walls. Now, you may ask, "Is it like hammer, you have to fire three shots and reload?" My answer is, yes and no, an alteration for this turret would change the turret in a way like this, fire a mine, and then pressing spacebar again would cause the mine to blow up. Now back to the turret, they are different from normal mines in  three ways. 1. They are like trip mines but you can fire at them to blow 'em up. 2. They do not one shot tanks. ("Blitzer are you kidding me? normal mines don't one shot mammoths.")  3. They do splash damage. I do not yet know the what this turret may look like. What do you think though?

WAIT! I forgot to answer the question whether or not it is like hammer. An alteration would change this too, fire more mines but they do less damage.

Turret name: Impact

Desc: An EMP Generator that, when activated, unleashes a massive shockwave from the center of the tank outward (has no effect on friendly tanks). This shockwave has high impact force, enough to send enemy tanks at close range spinning away like tops! When used in the air, sends your own tank into an uncontrollable tumble, so be careful! The shockwave is stronger in the front than in the back

Stats (M3):

Damage-1702 (Strong), 942.2 (Weak)

Damage Dropoff rate: -68/m

Reload-6.45 s

Impact Force-575 (Strong), 450 (Weak)

Impact Force Dropoff rate: -23/m (Weak area has shorter range than the strong area)

Area of Effect-25 m (Slightly longer than Firebird/Freeze's range)

Rotation Speed-175 (Fastest in the game)

Strong hit area-90 degrees (45 on either side of the center of the shot)

 

I realize this would be insanely difficult to program, but give me feedback on the stats! :D

 I think there should be a turret called "Tesla". It is a short range electrical turret that immobilizes a tank's hull for a set amount of time. The design should have one or two small tesla coils that the sparks fly from and a generator at the back to produce the power. Also, to show that the affected tank has been zapped, it will have sparks coming out of it.

THE GRAVITY TURRET DOES A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF DAMAGE DEPENDING ON HOW HEAVY THE HULL IS

EX:THE MAMMOTH=1000%DAMAGE

 

ACTION=LAUNCHES OPPONENT INTO THE AIR

 

THIS IMAGE IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE-----NO THIS IS NOT A HACK

 

THIS WOULD ALSO BE THE PERFECT TOOL FOR PARKOUR SINCE YOU COULD USE IT ON YOURSELF.ALSO THIS COULD NOT HURT YOU IF YOU USE IT ON YOURSELF.

I really like these Photoshop skills  :P but not the gameplay suggestion to it... it would maybe bring more variety in its gameplay if it was also dependent on the hull type/weight of the enemy tank.

New Weapon Idea:

 

                                                 Radio Wave

 How it works:

Image those bars next to the trapezoid of the volume changer. If you don't know what I mean look in here... https://ulpancom.r.w...olume-icon.jpg  Now put those same exact bars in front of the weapon turret. This is basically how it looks when it shoots. This ray is the color of this writing. Now, to the part of what happens when it shoots at a tank. It changes the controls of the turning tank. The left arrow (or A for some people), now turns to the right and the right arrow (or again, D for some people) now turns to the left. Simple right? You might think this is to op but it is actually not. It slows down your own tank when you shoot. Well lets just say it slows it down by half of the original speed. This is sort of bad for the wasp, but can you even imagine the mammoth? Now that things are balanced, you'll get to know about the amount of damage it takes away from the enemy tank. Remember that it is a hold-down-to-shoot weapon type, like the Firebird or the Freeze. So, enough about that, right? It takes away the EXACT same amount as the Freeze. But as you know, the damage doesn't matter, what matters is the effects. 

 

Freeze vs. Radiowave:

Now that you think about it, don't the Freeze and the Radiowave  act sort of the same way? I mean they both change how the tank moves, so pretty much the same right? Well not exactly. The Freeze slows down the tank, while the Radiowave confuses the opponent and makes him either not move at all, or move poorly. So if the Freeze shoots you, you can't get out of it (unless a team member shoots you with the firebird). But the Radiowave is different. If you've experienced the Radiowave shooting you quite a lot (If it ever existed), than you will eventually get used to it an learn to drive properly when he shoots. But, it will still be hard for you to shoot someone correctly or avoid a railgun fast enough, so the weapon is unique in its own way. Now that you've learned about these things, you fully understand that both weapons are unique in their own way but none of them are better. (Personally, I'd prefer the Radiowave   :D). Now for the Pro's and Con's!

 

Pros:

* Effects enemy almost instantly

* Effects enemies from below and above the shot not only directly in front

* Enemies will easily get confused and poorly control the vehicle.

* Has same turret turning speed as the smoky (which is pretty good)

 

Cons:

* Short range, making it hard for you to kill snipers like the railgun or the shaft

* Poor reload time (takes 10 seconds to fully reload)

 

M1 and higher:

I'd have to explain a lot so its up to tanki online workers to figure this out!   :)

New Healing Gun?

 

 

I was thinking of a tank that shot a syringe. Without being upgraded, it would do 75-110 damage to opposing team and 130-200 health per syringe to your team. Will work great with medium hulls. The reload time would be about 3.5 seconds. If you like this idea, draw a post of what it would look like.

Raygun/Solarflare/Flashbeam

 

 

A tank that shoots a beam of bright, white light at the enemy (almost like a flashlight). Stretches as far as the isida and 75 damage per 0.67 of a second. When being hit by the raygun, your screen gets bright (but you can still see).

How about changing the color of the fire of Firebird?

M0 - same as it is

M1 - more purple than red and yellow

M3 - completely purple

M4 - completely blue

in old tanki fire

m0 was yellow

m1 was orange

m2 was purple

m3 was blue

I have an idea for a new turret electrifier. I didn't know how to add a picture so I will explain in words. First of all this turret will have SB engraved on it as it reads as my name Suvinay Bhat. This turret will have to 2 Tesla coils on it and will have an animation of electricity going up. It will be short ranged like freeze and isida and would reload like then too. When the electricity reaches the top it attacks the enemy and also it reduces the power of the enemies weapon for a while like freeze freezes it's enemies. This will be really powerful

 Start with one problem at a time - the Shaft turret.  You recently ‘upgraded’ it.  Wrong!  You downgraded it.  I like using the shaft; when I play Skyscrapers, before you upgraded it, I could get up on the Blue tower, overlook the Red flag, and be able to hit tanks on the landing to its left, as well as tanks on the building 45˚ to the right; with the upgrade, I can no longer get close to aiming at the landing or the building on the right.

 
And in Serpehov, I used to be able to get in the valley below the Red section and shoot at tanks crossing the bridge on the right side; no can do now; it won’t go that high anymore.

Imagine a gun that can shoot like the shaft (minus the scope), where it can store up power, shoots like the Vulcan, has short range, and has the recoil of Rail gun.

 

 

 

And please don't comment saying that it sounds stupid.

Turret: Gravity Gun

Garage description: Much like the Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2, it has two features, one which pulls a single tank, and releasing would launch it at another tank, damaging both tanks. High recoil, firebird reload. Use with medium-heavy hulls.

Turret: Blocker.

Garage description: This turret is useful in CP and CTF, mainly for its two features. This turret has the turret Twins and it has Isida on top. pressing space will activate the forcefield, and press-and-hold will activate the defensive fire. Low recoil, high damage. Use with light/medium hulls.

I think there should be a turret called the Falcon. It basically shoot a bullet high in the air and lets you see i the perspective of the bullet. You push space again to make it plummet down. The advantage of this is you can kind of spectate. The disadvantage is that you cant see your tank when in bullet perspective so a close range turret could take you out.

 

There is also a hull I was thinking of called the ram. It has a special "Ramming Ability." If you hold both right and left arrows at the same time it will speed up quick and ram, which will do damage. The protection of this has to be bad, to counter the attacking ability.

Interesting...

i had a similar idea. but instead of freezing it would shock 1 tank and if there is another tank close, the elctricity would shoot to that tank. Kind of like area damage.

Turret turns like in a real tank.

 

Shoots a projectile like the one Striker shoots but they are not self propelled so they slowdown.

 

Can shoot upward like Artillery, and gravity should affect the projectile's speed, so we can shoot targets on top of buildings easier.

 

The damages, splash and firing rate should be the same as Thunder.
