Ideas for Turrets!

i think a new short raged. my idea is a called, Chainsaw, the name kinda gives it away.

 

Looks: i think the look would be like a table saw. if that makes sense. at M0 that's what it would look like. M1 the same. M2 add another saw on it. M3 add another saw.

 

How it works: you would must to be touching the tank you are wanting to kill. it would be like twins in the way you can just hold down space bar and it will never stop shooting.

 

Damage: at M0 i think 50 every spin. M1 100. M2 150. M3 200. or maybe even more then that, simply cause you must be touching the tank you want to kill. witch means you have to go up to them, witch could be hard depending on the turret of your opponent.

 

anyway i was just messing around i would love to see this Turret in game.

Idea: Turret (M3 Version)

Name: Hailer

Range: Max damage at 42.0, damage exponentially decreases from this point until max range of 72.0.

Ammunition: Fire's 1 light-blue/white dart.

Impact Force: 130 (similar to Twins)

Turret Rotation Speed: 170

Reload Time: Stock time is just under 1 second.

Damage: 180 - 240

Shell speed: Slower than Ricochet but faster than Twins.

 

Special Ability: As the user loses % of HP, the reload speed and the rotation speed of the turret would increase accordingly in a fixed ratio. However, as the user fires off darts, the tank would begin to succumb to the Freeze effect (like Vulcan with the overheating).

 

Examples:

If a tank had lost 75% of its HP, the reload speed would be reduced to 0.3 seconds.

If a tank had lost 50% of its HP, the reload speed would be reduced to 0.6 seconds.

If a tank had lost 90% of its HP, the reload speed would be reduced to a minimum of 0.25 seconds.

maybe edit the acidex so it has two modes, long and short range, in long range, increased damage, longer barrel, and more impact force. 

 

I honestly think that this is a good idea... respond if you like or do not like this idea.

Let's make a new short ranged guns as their are only 3 short ranged guns

1)Firebird

2)Freeze

3)isida

RULES

Don't it too overpowered because if it is released in tanki online it will be like everyone one will have the gun everytime

 

Don't keep it like isida,firebird or freeze only with a new model and those things

ok this has been brought up multiple times but what about the acidex from page one

or maybe a shock wave gun think about it not much range same charge as magnum and can flip light hulls on max charge

There's an alteration you think you like the look of. The problem is that you dont know whether you like it or not.

 

That problem was solved with the "Rent" option.

 

Why not add the same for turrets/hulls/paints...

 

It would cost a percentage of the full price - probably 5%-10%? - and would give you a 24 hour period to try out the item, then it would revert to what ever you had before.

Idk about you but at my rank being able to blatantly rent M2s for 5% of their actual price when everyone at my rank has mostly M1s and even M0s?

Sounds broken to me.

At 10%, its 10k for 24 hours. Oh no, you can get an M2 for all of 5 days. Incredibly broken, especially considering that you can quite easily get an M2 kit - which most people on alts will have done at your rank.

 

If you really want to talk about broken, just buy, and get full M3s by Captain.

Hello everyone,

 

I have an idea that will probably never be added since its rather big but it would be very fun and good for the game, in my opinion.

 

Since the developers used another button (SHIFT) and gave it a function, I think we can do it for more.

 

The basic idea is to use the CTRL (or another key)  and give all weapons another fire mode.

After switching the mode, the weapon cant fire for a short time (Probably a full reload of the magazine or about 5 or less second for weapons without a magazine, like Twins) to avoid abuse (You will find out later why)

 

Since its similar to alterations, they can just be used as a suggestion for more that (In case the idea sounds to crazy)

 

Here are my ideas for the weapons, please add more in the comments or suggest a change.

 

Railgun:

-Instant shot without having to wait

-Reduced Damage

-Switching mode will trigger the reload

 

Firebird: (Not sure about this one)

-Firing flammable substance to ignite with normal attack for instant burst damage

-Maybe this will have no reload or wait time

 

Shaft: (Not sure about this one)

-Switching modes will trigger the reload

-The longer you charge, the better you can see enemies through walls and if you are 100% charged

aim at an enemy through a wall, he will become visible for the entire team(Similar to new Hornet

Overdrive, watch V-Log for more info)

 

Twins:

-Wait a few seconds before you can fire again

-Fire both barrels at the same time

-Fire rate reduced

 

Hammer:

-Switching modes will trigger the reload

-Slug ammo

-Single projectile with more range

-Damage reduced (Example: 3 Hits for light tanks instead of 2)

 

Thunder:

-Switching modes will trigger reload

-Armor Piercing ammo

-No splash damage

-Damage increased or the ability to pierce multiple enemies

 

Ricochet:

-Switching modes will trigger the reload

-Ability to bounce removed

-Splash damage (Similar to alteration)

 

Freeze:

-No damage

-Enemy will be completely frozen and unable to move or fire

-Switching modes will trigger the reload

 

Isida: (Not sure about this one)

-Switching modes will trigger the reload

-Switch between healing and dealing damage

-Heal and damage increased

 

Magnum:

-Armor Piercing ammo

-More % charge deals more damage

-No explosion

 

Smoky:

-No critical damage

-Explosion added but weaker than Thunder

 

I have currently no idea for Vulkan and Striker so please write suggestions in the comments.

Hammer is a strong gun, but it has lots of problems. First, and probably the easiest fix, is the sub-reload between each shot. In the time it takes Hammer to load between shots, a smoky can fire at least 2 times. That lets it knock off your aim, and even destroy you.

Second, and the most controversial, is the 3-shot limit. Obviously, you can extend that with an alteration, but it is so annoying. While Hammer's stats are high, and it can one-shot a light hull with DP, it is a huge problem with heavy hulls like Titan. Although steps can be taken to avoid Titan and Mammoth, it makes this turret hard for capturing flags. It takes at least 4 shots to take out a titan - one more than the usual Hammer has. This makes the turret over-powered or extremely underpowered. I believe that is the reason for this turret's unpopularity. It is awkward to use for the stated reasons, and it just has too many disadvantages. I hope developers will take this into account, and make some positive edits to Hammer.

So this is less of a new turret and more of a proposed change for two existing turrets; Magnum and Striker. I think that they should be merged into a single turret that's a Mobile Rocket Launcher similar to the Katushya. As it stands now, Magnum has overshadowed Striker by a shocking degree. So, my proposed hybrid to replace the two; It has two firing modes like Striker and can rotate, but it's locked in a twenty degree angle. It can still fire over barriers and the like but it will have a much larger silhouette making it easier to take out with Shaft and way more easily targeted. 

 

If space is tapped, it will fire a single rocket out of a salvo of four at the lowest possible velocity, which is enough to catch the very tip of a Mammoth pressed straight up against it. On the other hand, if you hold down the spacebar it begins charging the remaining rockets like a Magnum shell and can launch them a surprising distance, but it requires a good sense of prediction or just plain skill to land the salvo since they are projectiles and travel slower. This will make it more like both turret's intended functions, combining the high risk high reward of locking on with Striker with the supposed skill of calculating Magnum's shells.

 

 

 

In return for the somewhat lowered damage for the individual rockets it reloads similar to Hammer, with the difference being it can begin firing without loading all four rockets. However, like Hammer, it CANNOT resume reloading until the salvo is emptied again. This will give it spamability, but not to an overpowered degree.

New idea: Harpoon gun.

Call it the Harpooner.

 

When you shot an enemy, the harpoon will attach for 3 secs (m0) before detonating, causing between 200-300 damage (m0). Reload is 3 secs.

 

When you shoot an object such as a wall, fence, or cliff, you go into grapple mode. In grapple mode, you have 10 seconds to climb down a hill safely. This will help with stealth flag stealing.

 

When you're grappled to anything, your gun will always be turning to point towards where the harpoon is (like the vulcan). You can shorten and lengthen the rope with Z (in) and x (out). But, your gun has it's own power. If your target has to much horsepower for the harpooner, the tank could continue driving, but slower. This also applies to grappling, if you're tank is too heavy, it will slowly be falling down. The harpoon gun will have a mid range shot distance though, like the m1 ricochet. 

 

Just think of the new game play and parkour!

Gun idea: Electric Gun

Call it: Tesla

 

I know what you're thinking, we already have an electric gun, but you're wrong! Well, if you thought that of course. If you did, you're probably thinking about the isida, but the isida is actually a nanobot gun, not electric. The Tesla will be a new close range combat gun that will perge through your enemies!

 

When you zap somebody and close range, it will zap them dealing 70-100 damage per tick. The fun part is, if any other enemy is nearby your target, they will be zapped also as if you were your target and was to be zapping them. So the charge will zap through your target and hit another target and close range to your target. This would form like a train of electricity. But, to keep it from being so strong, you can only zap 3-4 people at once. Note: The electricity transmits from the target to the nearest enemy within a close range.

Helllo, Today i will post a special edit version of railgun and its altretion , my post will make the game better , fun , balanced, more fun.more fair, re the old days ,

 


as every one know that railgun has been greatly nerffed in 2016/10 re-balance and everone know the disliker was more than the likers but for no reason tanki applyed the balance of rail any way im sure some one will tell me " easy want the old rail ? buy the altretion its only 100k" hmmm not bad if its true but its not true , why ? easy the altretion doesnt cost 100k it cost 200k and need a quite high rank to get it , why 200k ? think in it rail m2 96k+altertion100k = 200k + the quite high rank to re the old rail which was for free . so this is waht tanki want to show us ? this is how tanki want show us they are great ? ok dont put the blame all on tanki , why ? the devs are not enough to make a balancess its need a 2009-2017 players like me to help them so i decided to help tanki and i wish they lestin to me ( im sure they will devs are great people and will take my adive ) , any way lets contune , so my adive is to re the old railgun , but wait waht about the altretion if we re the old railgun waht does the altreiton do then ? easy i didnt leave anything with out plan for it here is the edited alltretion by me https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pdxJp6ottFivvngx1BWk5aj6VCuqyjnj/view its greatly improve the reload time , dmg dcrease but reload worth it :) well in total its going to be like replace the railgun with the altretion , dont forget the old rail was for free you dont need to pay 200k to get the old rail this not fair .

Please remove self-burn for Vulkan and give it a different thing, like a magazine or something else to make up for it.

You can´t play with light hulls because you burn yourself to death + To kill even a light tank you need to take burn damage from your own gun
