Ideas for Turrets!

Perhaps a mine-trawler? Can plant 4(m0), 9(m1), 12(m2) and 24(m3+) mines around the tank that are visible, but deadly.

than, wouldn't they just not touch the mines?

How bout a Turret that cant shoot, but rather can call in airstrikes, so it will have a targeting system like a Magnum, but it will shoot a flare or something, wait like a few seconds, than BAM!

This is not any Hilter or Kim's game to add these. 

Nuclear can be seen in wasp and tesla in hunter.

but if i make it i will not make it long turret ..or a big ..i will make it mmmmmm...like thunder or magnum ..u know .. ...and i wish to like my ideas in sups..and anther ideas ..we can make a team to make tanki online do our turrets and hulls  :) ..if u agree send me anything...i will be open

The Tanki creators should really create a close/distance ranged turret, like the ricochet, that is cylindrical shaped, a space hollowed out in the front of said cylinder, and holds three (3) round razor blades. This turret will be able to shoot the three razor-blades (the tank looses them) then loading creates new razor blades that seem to come from the core of the turret. Like it slowly forms, then slips into the open/hollow spot where the blade(s) are shot. If you guys don't like that shooting form, then how about if the blades can get retracted back, like once one is shot it circles back into the shooting range/ hollow spot. 

 

The turret itself should have gear-looking mechanisms embedded in the back of the turret, spinning slow as its reload time goes, then speeds up for half a second when each blade is shot. On the top of the cylindrical turret, there should be grates with a red-orange glow coming from the core of the turret. As if it was melting and forming the razor blades. One more thing. Maybe the razor blades could get stuck in walls? Then the user can collect if it is in range. If it shoots too far, then the blade just circles around, and reloads. 

 

I hope you consider my opinion, and idea! It really sounds like a turret that is just waiting to be tested.

Ok cool, cheers for the feed back on the Mine Trawler, perhaps the mines could be launched a short distance at close range? M3 mines could do possibly 400-500 damage? Firing rate of say.. 3rp/s reload time being 25 seconds? I also believe that mines should come in 24 round mags, thus eliminating the possibly of pay-to-play players can't just stock up on supplies and containers and have a mining spree

what if you had a turret called Shield. it would be able to shoot small force field balls like thunder but not as powerful. but if you held down a force field goes up around the front of the tank for as long as the power bar has power left in it. you have to wait until the bar is recharged to fir3 the force field ball again.

force field ball damage = 32-42 force field balls do not bounce

force field  health = until the power bar is warn out but the field takes energy to stay up and can not recharge while the shield is up.

 

It would look kinda like Freeze but shorter.

today i have new idea ..but it is not for turrets ..it is for gameplay of turrets

for example ...when u play (CALL OF DUTY)....(CROSS FIRE).....(GTA)

u see a small icon on the screen.... This icon shows you where the shot  will go

soo...why tanki dosent make one like that ..it will be good idea

You mean a sight/cross-hair? that would be cool, but it could be distracting or lost due to terrain etc

Magnum Suggestion

 

Function of a tank: "Vehicle capable of mobilizing a turret which can shoot at different positions".

 

1 - Damage equivalent to the distance traveled from the bullet
- I dont know if this is already in the game but i want to suggest it anyways.
-> This is very useful to avoid overexploitation of short shots (shots above small walls).

 

2 - Horizontal rotation
- The horizontal rotation of Magnum is too uncomfortable.

 

-> Allows you to shoot and hide more efficiently.
-> Helps you to aim more easily horizontally to distant enemies.
-> This would increase your maneuverability brutally.
--
-> SHIFT + Z/X = Horizontal rotation.
-> Slow rotation.
-> Unable to move the hull when using this fact.

Horizontal rotation is a key feature of Magnum's design. It's what makes it so unique compared to other turrets and gives it a significant disadvantage in order to balance its strengths. I'm sure Magnum will be somehow nerfed eventually, but it won't ever get turret rotation.

Don't you mean vertical?? Horizontal is side to side, like a HORIZON..

Vertical is up and down, like the Magnum's barrel.

I have a great idea for turret "twins". Twins can have special effect as firebird and freeze. Each electrical spheres touch the enemy, the enemy will have electricity in his/her tank and when the twins stops, opponent tank will give him/her damage and that damage will slowly reduce to 0

Ah fair enough haha I love the idea of the Magnum, but it rips through just about anything in the right hands which is why it's my favourite prey to hurt!

Cmon devs, its so weak right now! I would prefer this over a nerf of magnum! This has nothing to do with the fact that my vulcan is m3 and I want it to be usable


I got an idea what about a grenade launcher? you can shoot like 6 explosive grenades, It could be a short  range weapon and could take a long time to reload

Woudnt that be a hammermagnum?

So I had another idea..

Considering the effectiveness of (and hate against) the Magnum, I was rather inspired yesterday while researching ww1 weaponry by the accomplishment of the Germans in their launching of gas cannisters. So my idea could be a mid/long range gas bomber called the Dratsum (or Mustard backwards hehe) which fires a gas grenade that upon impact release acid gas in a 3x3x1 prop cloud (15mx15mx5m).

Would definitely appreciate in put on this one as it's a new play style entirely!

It should deal @M3 a total of 500+dmg per second to all tanks within the stroke zone with the reload speed of a Magnum. Min. range = 25m Max. range = 300m with the chance of self harming if caught in the cloud.
