Ideas for Turrets!

I think the ammo needs to be changed too... currently looks like bird poop. 

They should change magnum's ammo to the meteorites from cosmonautics day... this way they won't even have to spend time designing something new

When a Magnum user hates getting barrel shots by Shaft...you want to make Magnum barrel shorter! Make Magnum huge as CN Tower or Burj Khalifa, nerf its ridiculously high damage or nerf the splash of Magnum, Thunder and Striker to 50%.

What's with you and nerfing splash damage? Just because you don't know how to deal with it doesn't mean it needs to be nerfed.

I'm fine with that. I'll just join, fire one shot, leave and re join again and repeat. next battle someone else fro the clan takes the turn.  ;)

Or you can self destruct after every shot, since respawning automatically reloads your gun.

not good for tdm and it's quicker to leave and come back... but if it's not tdm and I'm lagging then i'll do your trick  :ph34r: 

 

oh wait, I have viking... after the overdrive comes out...  :D meteor shower!!

I think the current Magnum actually has a rather aesthetically pleasing shape. But to each their own, I guess.

I wouldn't reshape it, that's not the issue.

 

The issue is the actual turret itself, so I'd remove it.

I wouldn't reshape it, that's not the issue.

 

The issue is the actual turret itself, so I'd remove it.

removing it means that it will have to be refunded, making it a big loss for the company.

Make another topic suggesting it. And dont forget to change the size of the meteorites since it wouldnt work with what they currently have.

nah i like the size of the meteorites.. better to make the barrel bigger..

Marker for where magnum shells will land and damage nerf

 

It would make magnum more professional to have an aim target that will move across the ground accordingly to where the shell will fall. It should get a damage nerf for the accuracy buff though.

Showing where the shell will land is the opposite of making it professional. It will make aiming a LOT easier and Magnum won't require as much skill to use. On the other hand, nerfing the damage will simply make the gun boring and not what it's meant to be.

 

Magnum needs a nerf, but this isn't it.

Magnum needs longer reload time.

There's another idea where the charging is slower and also determines damage, and to compensate give it less reaload time. To have 100% damage, you'd need to charge it to 100%. That would force Magnum to play at a distance and aim carefully. Maybe then a marker could be added to help both the user and it's targets.

 

I don't know where is that is that idea.

Exactly! In WoT there are TDs that do enormous amount of damage but with the price of very long reload time, plus the most of them cannot turn turrets and it's more of a pain than in Tanki Online because you can't choose specific hulls and the gameplay is wholly different, to not go too much into details. Shaft is balanced just because of its reasonable reload time, and this is what exactly Magnum needs. If developers are thinking of any other method of nerfing it than using the most used method Damage ~ Reload, they should look too much further, because reload is ridiculously short. 7+ seconds for 2000+ damage would be pretty much more suitable in my opinion.

only thing with WoT is that with high level Tanks and TDs some of the maps are absolutely massive which makes up for the non movable gun cause sometimes all you need to readjust is a single tap of the key, that and Camo in WoT is a huge factor too

Magnum is not meant to 1-shot light hulls by splash, only by lucky shot.
