Ideas for Turrets!

What's with you and nerfing splash damage? Just because you don't know how to deal with it doesn't mean it needs to be nerfed

 

I like to use Hornet Isida because it helps the team more than any other combo (except Wasp Isida?) and I go behind an attacking tank and heal them. Somebody shoots it, I heal it. Everything is OK. And then comes a noob drugging Thunder and shoots the tank it front of me and 2-shots my Hornet Isida by splash. It is so annoying! This happens to me every time I use Hornet Isida. Why do you think that so much players use Thunder modules? Just because of this ridiculous splash damage.

Magnum is not meant to 1-shot light hulls by splash, only by lucky shot.

Not by default splash (although it's possible), but splash damage with DD is more than enough to one-shot it.

I think it has everything to do with your equipment level.

Splash Weapon

 

A weapon of which splash damage will be passed on to everyone in the area of effect and create an area of effect around those effected by the first area of effect and damage the newly create area of effect, and if there are more people around them, it creates more damage to be passed on to the next area of effect.

 

it has high damage but must actually touch the enemy tank to activate

 

So basically it can keep going on like a bolt, i would call it "Betelgeuse" 

 

Inspired by supernovas

 

but truth be told, its basically an effect effecting effect, effecting effected effects.

Another broken idea by explosion!

This one is actually alright. haven't seen this turret idea before and seems like it has interesting gameplay. From what I understand, it shoots at a tank like Twins and deals damage with a direct hit, but at the same time creates a sort of puddle on the ground that stays there for a while and deals damage to any enemy that stays in it. So that way you can block certain pathways, cover enemy escape routes and a bunch of other new tactics.

Smoky Tutrret redsign

 

Well i was a full time smoker  till i got my m2 rico

Now with MM i am back to my Smoking day's

It look like a metal pipe

While it's brother look cool 

*cough* Thunder *cough*

 

What i suggest that is rework it 

make the barrel little more longer and add something cool 

I cant think what , brother's add more suggetion's

Magnum already has a muzzle-brake so maybe a ... fume extractor (aka bore evacuator)

add 3rd mode on striker

 

Striker should have a third mode, being able to choose between faster shooting or shooting at the same time from both barrels for 3 times slower recharge speed

Laser is not only a bad thing in striker because its really hard to im we should be able to use shift to open the laser panel instantly instead of waiting some seconds with shift

I need little longer barrel with new chrome plating  & more spikes etc

why not just give this ability to an already existing turet... magnum

And make an already strong turret even stronger?

 

So you're basically suggesting a sort of "Tesla" or electric weapon, which I think fits better than the effect you're talking about. I'd say that perhaps adding this to Isida could be feasible allowing it to heal/damage multiple tanks at the same time but with reduced damage/healing per connection, distributing the healing and damage instead of directed at one tank only. Could be a cool alteration idea.

And fix your grammar!!!

A simultaneous double-barrel (unguided) launch with a longer re-load?   I'd go for that as I hate the shots alternating between tubes.

 

Would be good as an Alteration.

Buff thunder

 

Honestly, Thunder is hilariously under powered. Most people still happen to have Thunder protection more than 40% at the legend ranks. While Tanki developers can't really do much more to fix it, I think it must be buffed. It is just too weak.

 

I think a 20% buff of minimum and maximum.

Striker is good as it is , we just need Skill

First off - no it's not fine the way it is.

There's a reason why so few people equip it in battle.  It's very situation-specific so there are even fewer used with match-making.

 

If an Alteration was added it would not even affect you - you could use the stock version if you liked it.

Not sure if 20% is a bit too much or right but I personally like Thunder so I wouldn't mind any buff.  :lol: In DM battles, it really can come in handy especially with that lovely splash damage.
