Maybe if people would stop always playing Rail, then the sterotype would go away and protection modules would start to disappear too. I never play rail in normal battles anymore...Smoky with alt is very similar but does 100% damage almost all the time

The Smoky with alt has still 10% min damage and 100-130 range, am I right?

If not, please correct me.

Recently Isida was changes to it could no longer cancel afterburing or the freeze effect on allied tanks. I am a daily Isida user and I thought that was a clever and beneficial way to adjust Isida.

So now you need an allied Freeze to cool off a burning pal. You need an allied Firebird to thaw out a frozen friend.

But if you are frozen and an ENEMY Firebird stats to hose you down, you enter a condition of being frozen to a -100 degrees while at the same time you glowing red-hot from fire.

I know the game is not at realistic but even so this level of surrealism is hard to swallow. This does reduces the sense of "immersion" gamin brings us.

But worse since Freeze has been made so nonsensically overpowered now it needs to be nerfed already.  I say we take a page out of the Isida nerf game plan.  If a Firebird and a Freeze both hit the same tank they should do damage but both of te special attacks should be eliminated. No freeze, no afterburn. It doesn't matter which team the Freezes or Firebirsd belong to thwy cancel each other's special effects.

I suggest this change is both satisfying from a realism sense and is a badly need game balance in the wake of the dev team;s recent activity.

Some users complain about Magnum being 'OP' (questionable, not the highest DPS weapon in the game, has a considerably long reload + the time it takes to adjust aim and power....)

I propose for Magnum to have less damage by using short range angle and more medium / long range - if the person uses 0 - 5 degree angle damage is above minmum damage but higher if using a longer ranged scope. Players complaining probably use no protection and low health hulls

PROS

  • Will increase the skill of Magnum users make them less likely to use to same angle for shooting with less damage
  • Weapon is used more like intended, med / long range rather than short ranged cheap shots

CONS

  • Developers need a reason to nerf the weapon so will most likely decrease damage when its not necessary or reduce splash damage

Fischer: Can burn, and immobilize enemies and bounce off walls at the same time. Can be used only on the new "Dynamic" battle mode to prevent tagalongs in other battle modes. I'm not sure how it shoots but it's really cool to see it in battles. The only turret that can be used in the new mode.

Exactly. Magnum should get full damage only when firing in 50 degrees or bigger angle to prevent easy drop-shots and fast ground-shots.

0 deg-50% damage

5 deg-55% damage

10 deg-60% damage

15 deg-65% damage

20 deg-70% damage

25 deg-75% damage

30 deg-80% damage

35 deg-85% damage

40 deg-90% damage

45 deg-95% damage

≥50 deg-100% damage

No more close-ranging Magnum noobs and no more deadly drop-shots on Noise.

Hunter Smoky runs to its base after stealing enemy flag. Hornet Firebird with afterburn alt (Compact Tanks) attacks it and gets shot by Smoky. Boom.

Firebird managed to hit the Smoky before it got destroyed and Hunter slowly loses HP due to strong afterburn. Nothing can help the Hunter. Except that enemy Wasp Freeze who just removed the afterburn. Smoky shoots again, destroys Wasp Freeze and caps the flag after few seconds.

I think it would be really weird if an ENEMY helped you like this, wouldn't it?

Or maybe dependint on its "shot power" like shaft, the more charged the shot, more damage it has.

This turret is so OP.

-----------------------

Or better yet, damage increase with distance, being the contrary of Thunder and Smoky.

Magnum noobs usually fire at 0-20 degrees and they put lots of power into the shots.

I wouldn't say Railgun itself needs the buff, it's quite strong against most turrets. I think the issue is that the turrets that DO beat it are either super common (Smoky), super OP (Magnum), or both (Freeze). A nerf to those turrets, or at least to their anti-Railgun power, would be better than buffing Railgun directly.

No Railgun should be buffed because it is inherently weak against all other turrets in the game. Get that in your head.

Yeah, ability to one-shot five out of seven hulls in the game by pressing 3 key is real weak.

this is not a valid point since it uses a supply and can be countered with another supply for equal cost.

You're never gonna get a fair comparison from comparing a drugged turret/hull to another not drugged one.

It is a valid point, since if there is a Railgun in the battle, you have to have double armor on at all times if you don't want to get one-shotted. And even if the supplies cancel out, you get half of you HP taken off in one shot. Railgun with alterations (majority of serious Railgun players) is a massive pain to fight and takes absolutely 0 game sense or skill to play.

Railgun needs more skill than any other turret except Striker.

I got an idea for new turret. I call it: Excalibur and heres how it works.

It has rapid fire like vulcan and sniper mode like shaft+ the bouncing projectiles of ricochet and hammer. It also can be an excellent choice of parkour.

Pros
Very powerful
Combined with the abilities of multiple weapons
You can zoom in the sniper mode a lot faster.
Overheating time is slower than vulcan

Cons
Very expensive if its in the garage.
Takes time to master.
Does self damage
Long reload time

Ah yes. Railgun deals damage so it is OP. I see.

Remember the Railgun boi can't just spam double damage, he's on a cooldown. Unless he dies a bunch which isn't the most beneficial to him either.

shield turret

the turret doesn't rotate ( as it is round ) , but holding fire button will start energy consumption making a reflective dome of force field around the tank

shock turret

can shot 3 targets, aiming manually at the first who will take 100% damage, the shot will jump to the nearest enemy who will take 50% damage, and finally jumps to the last one who will take 25% damage .

properties will bee be adjusted by the creators

Yeah, ability to one-shot five out of seven hulls in the game by pressing 3 key is real weak.

First of all, railgun cannot one shot medium hulls with DP since 2016.

Secondly, I was talking about railgun. No one here was talking about drugs.

You are simply deluding yourself into thinking that.

What about thunder?

Thunder can two shot five out of seven hulls and one shot kill all light hulls in the game the same way.
