Excuse me, this a railgun buff topic and u are spamming it with 'no railgun related stuff' kindly asking u to leave it or simply discuss with us the railgun and how to buff it by a balanced way.

Thanks for understanding :).

okay , no worries

 , so what kind of buffs would make rail better balanced :) , I think nerffing alt by like 15% and buffing min DMG by 15% or 10% for both idk.

But the min DMG are too low for a high DMG gun.

I know because I've done it , and it's not so expensive (unless you're upgrading the 3-4 kits at the same time) . you should only upgrade on MUs then

are you happy with the level of your tank ? I really don't think so , you're facing M3s all over the place and they keep wrecking you don't they ? always listen to other players' opinions

I am sometimes facing Marshals and it is logical that they have M3. I will also have M3 when I will be Marshal, just wait few years...

Playing with M2 (my Titan is de facto M2, the last MU will be completed after 2 days) against M3 is absolutely OK. There is not really such a big difference between M2 and M3.

I suggest overall 10% damage buff for Rail. Both min damage and max damage should be buffed. If you want only min damage buff, it should be 20%.

buff whatever you want , as long as you stay away from the damage

a rotational speed buff would be so nice though .

Here's an even more insane idea: a machine gun ion cannon that has the same firing rate with vulcan and each shot deals as much damage as a fully charged Shaft Sniping Shot!!!!! Plus, deals 10 times more impact force than Hammer! Turret rotation is 3 times faster than Firebird/Freeze/Isida!!!! CAN PIERCE THROUGH MULTIPLE TANKS AND INFINITE BARRIERS!!!! DEALS SPLASH DAMAGE!!

Its name is........THE OVERPOWER ER OF DEATH

Better idea:A poop launcher that lands in other Tanks faces

Just Kidding btw

Why did vulcan get nerfed so hard, its barely usable.
(topic 1)The higher spin-up time makes you have to predict the enemy encounter long before they appear AND (topic 2)the higher burn damage makes it so you can barely fire for a long duration of time, which encourages topic 1 to counteract spinnup time. The buffed damage is NOT worth it in the long run because it will take a majority of your clip just to destroy 1 medium hull or higher. (Topic 3) The older Vulcan already was weak to close-range turrets, and now its completely useless to things like the new firebird with VERY high damage and afterburn.

My suggestions:
revert it to its previous state
OR
keep it the way it is and half the spin-up time

Both options would be much more desirable

**I am open to criticism on this topic so please reply opinions and reasoning**

Rotation speed buff? No! Rail is a long range gun, it is not made for close range encounters.

What about reload buff? Thunder already got one recently so why not Rail? (I do not see any other way to increase DPS, it can be done only through damage or reload).

i have an idea for a new new gun

i think a gun that sees through walls and shoots through walls and is like a isidia/railgun/shaft and it is like a laser but u can hold the spacebar to zoom and see the enemy through the walls adn the color will be red and it will not charge like the rail gun and the path curves like the isidia and the enemy will be highlighted like the thermal color and it won't take life if you fire to long

does anyone like this idea???

it is called the

stinger

I had a similar idea, but with a turret similar to the Thunder (long range and medium damage), that could shoot through one layer of walls. The animation would be a small black orb issuing from the barrel followed by a larger shot; the small orb would make a hole in the wall or cover and the shot wot would pass through.

This concept might also work with a short to medium range gun that caused high damage.

With shorter range, this would be accompanied with a higher speed, and a moderate reload time (railgun?).

It would unlock at the rank of Master Corporal.

It did not nerf Vulcan, it balanced it. Tip: start charging the turret even if you don't see an enemy yet, considering the fact Vulcan takes 9-10 seconds to start over heating

It is a nerf.

So your solution is to just start spinning up at random intervals in the off chance a target appears?

Have you used it yet?  On a map that provides lots of cover? Older Vulcan you could at least whittle them down a peg. Now, the enemies are on you before you can fire the first bullet.

Then the slower rotation kicks in and you can't track them.  They circle and kill the vulcan - sometime before the Vulcan can deal any damage.

All they had to do was lower the overheating rate/damage - major problem solved.

Instead they changed the turret completely and made it a completely different weapon. And a less useful one to boot.

sure , why not

I said anything as long as it stays away from the damage

New idea possibility turret

Every time it is shot with it has a slim chance of doing 650 damage, a big chance of doing 175, a fair chance of doing 250, a rather slim chance of doing 350, and a slim chance of doing no damage.

New Turret Puller.

Screenshot_2.png

It has been a long time since it has had a new turret. I thought of a new turret to develop.

Category: Puller

Objective: At a distance of the type isida, the turret launches its projetil that sticks to the enemies and so we can pull them to all sides of the maps.

Example: M3

When we are moving pulling the enemy, the turret will cause 300 damage per second.

If you launch at the enemy and stand still, it will not cause damage (only on the move)

Example 2: Hulls heavy, pull the mammoth on of the flag.

Mabye a new turret that can shoot health boxes long range... Kinda like a long range Isida.. Just an idea. I do agree w Aigaion though.. Devs should focus on the current turrets, not be worried about releasing new ones.

What about a very slight buff in vertical aiming?

that would be nice

tbh rail is actually just as much of a mid-range gun as it is long range
