Ideas for Turrets!

It's frustrating when M2-M3 with no MU can defeat fully maxed out M4 Freeze alone. I was pretty much happy how firebird was way before this crappy update, didn't see any problem with it.

You can already cancel the afterburn if you time the repair kit well. Just make sure you activate it right after the fire damage tick.

Well the afterburn instantly kicks in the moment the guy is still shooting at you. The damage just adds up to infinity. The afterburn is non-existant... you will be dead already so there is no worrying about the afterburn.

after you hit your target after a controlled flight, then your re-load prosses begins, NOT exactly after you launch it

paint will affect the missile color

somehow after re-loading, your new missile suddenly appears  :wacko:

 

Wouldn't it be more realistic if it started reloading the moment it fired. Real life ATGM's do this.

that's sorta how the reload of the striker works, and everything else for that matter, plus, this is Tanki Online, a land where flamethrowers work in space.

using a RK while fighting a firebird is a waste , that's the case with every melee turret but mostly with firebird .

It's also a waste to use it when the burn is in effect even if the firebird isn't firing at you anymore.

actually I'm really happy that close range turrets are more OP now... at least people can't top the battle from just camping anymore

So let's spawn-camp at enemy base with them ;)

Firebirds spawn killing with isidas behind them. They get good score, good K/D and stars.

how often do you see firebirds with 40/0 ?

 

and when they do get that good a k/d that means they really helped their team. unlike some shaft that plays every mode like DM and spends the whole battle killing some wasp/hornets

At least shaft requires skill to use decently. Firebird requires no skill to perform as good as the top three.

It's true, it takes no skill for firebird to clean a cluster of enemies within 15 to 30 seconds. But shaft can only target one enemy at a time.

it's much harder for firebird to stay alive if it want's to get 40 kills without dying..

How often do you see a shaft with 40/0 in MM? :D

nobody cares about K/D , not me anyway , but I hate seeing that the only way to top a DM battle is to use either firebird or freeze

obviously some people do, that's why they use shaft. and such people are a parasite to their team when they do it

it's hard for all turrets to get 40 kills without dying , only hiding magnums and shafts can achieve that and it's still not easy

obviously some people do, that's why they use shaft. and such people are a parasite to their team when they do it

so if you don't care about your K/D your turret should be OP ?

I agree to the topic, I don't see how having max possible burning damage applies even on the slightest heat, Gives the turret Two ways to damage , The constant fire aswell as the not-so hot yet burning like lava damage. Together it gets really over powered and on low ranks as there is a limited protection (i.e. Not 50%) It is almost useless to even use a fire protection as it shreads through it all. The old way of how it did burning damage according to temperature of the heat was better, maybe to have a little balance you can increase the maximum temperature of heat without increasing the damage so the turret does it's max burning damage for longer rather than forever.

Firebird is fine in its current state.

 

The point is either you don't know how to play or you might get by Firebird every time you play. I'm a Firebird user and I know the pain of using it. I have to approach near to a player to kill. People can kill by going far from my tank.

 

In luck basis, If we see a tank near around we go and back stab them (lol) and earn kills. The burn damage helps us to save time and fuel and that should remain stable in my opinion.

 

You need skill to use Firebird such as judging how much fuel need to spend on your opponent so that, burn effect can work in it.

Firebird is all about saving and consuming fuel efficiently.

 

 

At least shaft requires skill to use decently. Firebird requires no skill to perform as good as the top three.
