Ideas for Turrets!

What about a proton canon that shoots out a flat horizontal beam?

It starts out as a small arc first which steadily expands while moving forward slowly. The farther it goes, the less is the damage. It will be the first turret of its kind to be able to damage many tanks that are not much close together.

Turret kinda looks like a mix between isida and a CD player. Similar to this. (Not my pic)

Have you ever thought about pulse cannon? A weapon which shoots an extremely strong pressure wave which damages everything in its spatial angle? The bigger part of the wave hits you, the more damage you take.

 

The main disadvantage of the pulse cannon is the fact that most of the energy is simply wasted by hitting the ground or just flying to space.

Hammer got 'buffed' by nerfing Rico and Twins. However, it still needs a buff. Range buff would be good.

I agree, but, nerfed twins? naw mate, they buffed it if anything, believe me.

That would prevent it from becoming too OP. You won't be able to massacre everyone in Massacre because of the hills.

And the area idea is great. This way, more damage will be done to heavy hulls.

I do not want it to penetrate walls or tanks, it would be too OP.

It will lose a percentage of its power everytime it goes through a layer (percentage depending on the number and density of the layers).

Redesign isida m2

 

My opinion is that isida M2'S frontal metal plate is too large and makes it look kind of ugly. Developers should shrink it and add more space for the equipped paint AND add details to the front.

I have an idea for a turrent.

name: Malstrom. 

damage dealt- none

effective range- VERY SHORT

it attacks by shooting a gust of wind strong enought to filp a mamoth. yet this flipping power decreases exponently over range.

i moderatly fast recharge time to refill and reperssurize its air tanks.

 

NOTE since it does no damage, effects that would increase damage instead increases the flipping power.

Ram turret. The turret is placed on top of the hull but when you press space it lowers down to the front of your hull. At this point you get an armour and speed increase but your hull's ability to turn is greatly reduced. On impact the enemy tank receives the same damage as a railgun maybe?

Activating and deactivating the turret has a cooldown of 3 secs?

Unless devs are going to do another complete redesign of all turret and hull textures like they did in 2012, this isn't going to happen.

Good idea. The driver hatch on M3 Hunter also looks ugly. Devs should center it and give it octagonal shape like on M24 Chaffee.

 

Driver hatch on M1 Hornet looks even worse. Devs should give it square shape and make it slightly bigger.

Tbh all m2s were designed to be ugly. If the turrets were children then the m2 stage would literally be puberty. It's supposed to be like a hybrid between a cool looking m3 and a dumb looking m1. The result is not good. Look at M2 Freeze lol. 

 

Tbh, M2 isida isn't that ugly.

Firebird and Magnum combined? It would be pure hell.

 

 

Why would this be terrible as a turret? Having such a turret would be amazing, and don't forget that a Molotov turret would be different than Firebird. As for the supply you mentioned, it would be amazing to have a supply that throws Molotovs but I am not sure if developers would consider them as a supply.

 

What type of turret would you like to see in Tanki Online Maf?

 

 

As a turret idea, this is terrible. Although it's possible for this to be implemented as a supply. For example, instead of the mine, you "equip" the molotovs into your "5" slot and pressing 5 in-game will throw a molotov instead of placing a mine.

Honestly the Molotov turret is essentially a magnum with burning effect.  Should it be a new turret or a supply :huh:?... Personally I think it should just be a magnum alteration B)

ETD (Electronic Turret Disabler)

This turret does no damage, but will make the enemies in a certain radius not be able to shoot. Good for team battles, useless in DM and juggernaut. cant shoot over walls

What are the possibilities of looking at having the Magnum turret being controlled by mouse control. So for instance to wheel up and down your turret will move up and down and also to be able to turn the turret horizontally with the mouse like with Hammer, Rail, Rico etc.

Currently, equipping high-capacity ammo clip or doublet alterations for Hammer does not change the clip reload sound - you still hear three shots being reloaded regardless of whether you have five or two shots in your clip. It's a minor thing, but it would be nice if these two alterations had appropriate sounds.

My name is Cebrail.

 

I'd like to metion the following 2 Turrets: 

 

Turret : Hammer,

 

This Turret has no available  shot effects colour changes due it's form of lanching the shotgun shells ingame which is understandable due it's current design. I'd like to see a change on the way of how the turret fires so that way coloured shot effects could be added to the turrets Alterations. The Turret Hammer should also have a XT Skin.

 

Turret : Isida,

 

As we all know the Turret Isida is a very special turret one that changed many things for many tankers ingame such as the re-name'ing of the Supply : '' Double Damage's name to 'Double Power'. 

 

This unique Turret has no XT Skin and only 2 different shot effects which look very similiar to eachother i'd like to see a improvement of the shot effects by adding a bit more variated colours to the shot colour effect alteration.

 

I truly thank Tanki Online for taking the time to read and re-consider the wide options that are available upon the following 2 turrets that i metion'd above.
