Love the model you made, name sounds catchy too! I appreciate that some tankers are so dedicated and fascinated to inspire other players with their ideas. I would love to buy the weapon if it were to be released, sounds like a strong turret.

  • But let's see how the new Tesla Turret is.
  • It could have something similar to your turret idea.

Also, we have quite a lot of Turrets right now, including Tesla that will be in the game soon. So we'll have to wait for more Turret ideas to be taken into consideration in the future. But it's still good to have them posted. Keep it up everyone!

But tesla turret is pushing a plasma projectile like Ares OD.. So definitely you haven't to wait it to see if it has 2 fire modes or not

Not sure if this will happen or not, but in any case, when Thunder does get its HD skin, for the love of god please do not make default rounds bouncy. In fact, shots should NEVER bounce because if they do this will literally ruin the ability to properly splash for Thunder. Please don't even add a rubberized round augment, nobody wants bouncy rounds for thunder.

Darkvoid is an unique mechanism for a turret.

Just like firebird and freeze it has a special effect on the enemy.

Unlike freeze and firebird it isn't a short range turret. This turret will also have an unique look. It's barrel will spin , during this procedure the barrel will glow. Next ! at the end of the barrel it will form a ...

Oh ! I nearly forgot to mention the type of mechanism it will use and it's unique effect.  Darkvoid is a sound turret , using sound to damage the opponents. Darkvoid is a sound void. Its will take 2 for light hulls , 3 medium hulls and 4 for heavy hulls without double damage.

It's special effect - Once it has attacked the opponent's tank , it releases sound that shocks your tank then causes  your vision to become blured.  If your Hull is weak then you better watch yourself from this beastly turret it's toxic !! What I mean by phrase " vision blurred " is that your tank will technically become dizzy , when the things around you become three and you don't know which is the real one then goes back normal basically the dizzy

BEWARE !

ITS ADVANTAGES ARE FAR MORE GREATER THEN ITS DISADVANTAGES.

... Continuing , from ...  "it will form a cold toxic sound glow ,

You shouldn't fear this turret because it has DISADVANTAGES just like other turrets.

Advantages :

Medium  Deal damage.

Medium-range.

Able to blur the enemies screen - 1 second

Able to Dealing damage more than one tank at once.

Disadvantages :

Medium self damage.

Medium reload time -   2-3 seconds

And I'll leave the rest for tankionline to make.

Listen what I mean by " Able to Dealing damage more than one tank at once. " Is if two or more enemies are next to each other it will deal damage them . When you shoot at one it will deal damage any opponents next to the one which you shot. But the deal damage will decrease on the tanks that won't aimed at , just like thunder etc...

I would like you to accept my idea

So it's basically a kind of Railgun but with the addition that:

it bothers your screen?

its shot will leave a trail that damages enemies in its path?

This trail can damage you and allies (if friendly fire is enabled)?

Yeah, it would ruin Thunder. I would shoot at the floor precisely to deal splash damage to my enemy and my shot just goes off into the sunset.

Yeah, that'd be wierd. What I mean is the first impact simply causes it to bounce, and the 2nd one causes the explosion (like explosive smoky) which would suck. Your version would be awesome though ?

Lol, but to be honest it wont be broken. It will just open a new way of strategies, like Remote for Strike. But don't forget that the angle wont be a free like Ricochet, but for a limited angle only.

By the way I think its cons are higher than the pros

Oh I think this idea should considered as Invalid, because Thunder already doesn't have bouncing ability.

I wonder if we will get Augments at all though. 

It's because Thunder is very strong right now too.

If developers release a Fire Augment or Stun Augment with Thunder, it can make it too strong for players.

 

If they do, hope we get a good balanced con that comes with each Augment.

Yeah but sometimes you can do "double damage" onto an enemy who was near the building when the shot bounced, and the shot also happens to bounce directly to said enemy.

 

Thus counting as two hits. Once hit when the shot hits the building, inflicting splash damage on the nearby enemy......
The second hit is when the shot bounced off the building, and it manages to directly hit the enemy, resulting in a second dose of damage.
