You've listed way too many "advantages".

You seem to want it all - and that's just too much.  Not sure what your idea of "high damage" is - you never spelled that out.

Plus we've already got Thunder and Gauss that can be long range + multiple enemies.  Gauss can also be considered high damage.  Maybe Thunder too?

 

IMO you've got two or three different turrets listed here. And IMO sound is not a long-range type of weapon.  Effectiveness would dissipate rapidly over distance.

 

Fine I will simplify it 

For the time being you guys think of a name for this turret.

Something to do with sound wave

I will edit my idea so there no hate regarding it.

No hate - just trying to provide constructive criticism.

For naming... something with "sonic" in it ... sonic____ or ____ sonic  or something to that effect.

I am gonna make it a mid-range , medium deal damage and damage more than one tank at once.

It does not release toxic void, it releases sound waves.

But blurring the opponent's screen is It's specialty so that remains. 

 

Let's agree to disagree! Lol

I hope this is enough so I can edit the idea of darkvoid

He has a point, there are a lot of unclear details regarding your turret. At first I even thought it was an idea for a status-effect.

What's gonna happen next?

If accepted does it get added to the game?

Regarding thunder HD i recommend that, when tanki online is designing this turret, that they should get close to immitating the real thunder.

To gives it's unique thunder effect .

Just like they gave somky HD the smoke I hope they do something about thunder.

Shaft has a laser, which travels at the speed of 300000 km/s. Aka it already has a projectile speed, you just can't notice it.

In real life, if you have a laserlight and turn it on, that won't "drop" over disatnce either.

First, No.. no it's not instant speed, it depending on how fast the computer and the system calculate the shot so it's not instant literally.            kidding 

But how you say "this speed would make Gauss a lot harder to use at very long ranges" with your 1000m/s for Gauss? Ok I will tell you, the farthest distance between two points in Tanki is in Berlin map and it's 461m.. So if you stayed in the last tip of the map and your enemy stayed in the last tip in the map, your shot will travel in 0.45s . I don't see how you considered it a lot harder, where most of the times it's approximately just instantaneous.

Also if you want to be more stubborn and say hey yes I want to fight someone while we're in the farthest corners in Berlin, I will say to you the automatic hits system for Gauss will disqualify this 0.5s difference.

Ok but about Shaft... 2000m/s    LOL, for sure the difference is hardly noticeable for the unaided eye.

But but if you want to obstinate more and you will say Umm I don't want to change my opinion and yes it will make a difference.. I will stop you here and will check your mind.. As I will tell you that according to the tanks speed and the screen refresh rates and the processor strength, you can't control the 2000m/s.

Quick Question: Does Shaft even shoot projectiles? Or is it just some kind of ultra-high-tech energy cannon, based on what we can observe from the shot effect thingy? Because it truly looks like some kind of energy weapon that fires a weird oval-shaped thing on the enemy tank.

i like this idea a bit, shaft is too easy to aim with even from afar, or maybe even including that "wobble" that used to be there would be better. And i think railgun should be included to this list too cuz its a good sniper turret too but i dont think xpbp players will like it so i wont mention it here.

If the shot is a laser, how does it have impact of 650 - more than double that of Thunder?

I don't think Shaft will need it. 

Mainly because of the weird shot effect, and because it's unfair that Railgun will have insta-hit whereas the turret that's literally welded to become Tanki's "Sniper" doesn't.


But......
I would love any nerf for Gauss.
