Ideas for Turrets!

When you have M2 Railgun, getting the High Caliber Alteration makes it the old railgun. Insane damage 4000 with double damage. 1 shot anything you want, Mammoth, Titan, even without DD you can 1 shot Wasp and hornet for free.

It's called High-Caliber Ammo.

Yeah, just use the alt.

Technically you can already get the old railgun, you just need to spend 100k on the alt to get it

 

Yeah I really enjoy having my turrets nerfed only to have to purchase an alteration (100k) to make the turret how it was    :lol:

It is indeed quite powerful but I wouldn't say it was balanced before although that is just my personal opinion.

not -100 it will make it super weak. Following it, there will be many players already spent money and crystals to buy and upgrade their freeze after the balancing.

 

I would suggest slowly nerfing it ( if devs want, bcoz devs have their own thinking (which also states that thunder ISN'T OP) )

like -25.

 

Also, nerfing Only Freeze wont work. Their are few other OP turrets - Thunder Magnum and Ricochet, and of course - viking in hulls.

it should be equal to firebird    people spend crystals on firebird too it is not for free ?  firebird has ability afterburning effect and freeze has freezing effect

They made the wrong buff. 

 

They needed to slightly buff damage but greatly increase the freezing rate.

 

I feel the same way, even though I hate going up against a freeze, I think it would have been better to increase its freezing rate instead of giving it to same amount of DPS as isida.

Make magnum way too easy since it will make it look ten times more professional than it is now. But double the reload time. 

That's a terrible approach. This game is all about fast-paced gameplay and action, and making it so that the turret only shoots once in a century is the exact opposite of the kind of gameplay developers are going for.

Yes...the Freeze has the freeze effect -- which is -- get touch by a snowflake, get completely locked down and then get killed.  Unbelievable.

 

interesting how many Freeze cannons there now are in game play....hmmmm

Idk, I have a friend who did an m3 freeze vs fire island game with upgrades and such turned off and fire won ever encounter...idk but somehow 800 damage can beat 1000. I don't disagree tho that 1000 m4 damage seems like a lot

People still thinking guns are "Overpowered" needs to reconsider their opinion about the game balance. Tanki Online was the most balanced it has ever been before the Freeze buff update. This update is the only thing that makes Freeze significantly stronger than another turrets which makes it slightly more unbalanced than before.

 

In my opinion Freeze should only have 750 damage/sec per second, knowing that it has more than 3 seconds of ammo than Isida and Firebird, the other two close combat guns.

It was not a total mistake, Freeze needed a buff.

 

It's quite amusing to see Freeze M0 do the same amount of damage as the old Isida M3.

Not all true, but in M0, yes.  It's now like getting hit by ice shards when anyone encounters a freeze.

Fire was preferred over Freeze before because Fire had the OP alteration and Freeze did not.

 

This update was to balance Tanki's bank accounts.

 

My suggestion to nerf it would be to increase the reload time from 8 to 10 seconds.

 

And Isida should get the 8 seconds reload instead of 10.

I still see a good mix of fire/freeze/isida now...in fact, its probly more balanced than before when u never saw freeze

 

Actually, with people equipping Freeze protection, I am finding less fire protection, so now Fires aren't facing as much hate

Make Acoustic turrets. it will put out sound waves that will topple other tanks.

shoundwaves, realistically would only be able to bend metal, still a good concept tho

I was thinking about mines earlier today. I am not a buyer, so I never buy supplies (50 crystals per supply? That is... expensive!). However, what if there was a "turret" that could not shoot, could not rotate, etc. However, it could lay mines. Perhaps it could toss a mine in a direction, depending on rotation (if it rotates.) All the mines would act like bullets and have no cost. What do you think?

Exactly. Isida should also have 7 seconds of damage instead of 5 because the 5 seconds are sometimes not enough to kill heavy hulls. The Firebird afterburn alt is now even more OP because Isida can not stop the afterburn now. That Firebird alt works just like a poisoned dart.

Freeze probably got buffed because there were less freeze modules around than for fire.
