Ideas for Turrets!

So the question I will always ask is, what different type of gameplay does it offer. Vulcan was cool because it game someone the chance to play the covering fire role. You just shoot everything and keep peoples heads down. Other turrets play a specific role. What do this one offer....siriusly

Remove Striker from the game as MM has made it all but useless.

 

Give striker owners twins or freeze as compensation so they can win easily without much skill or any effort.

Hello, As we know that many people just press space and move like godmode_on in twins, these thing helps in distraction of aim of all tunnels and disbalance the tank also .So according to me the twins should be overheat like valcan to stop continue use of twins. I hope u people will understand the problem of twins .....Please twins user cooperate with other tunnels ...Twins is overpower now .Please fix

LOL I noticed the Terminator turret Easter Egg change to the logo, but this is what I think about Juggernaut mode (JGR) after playing with/against it in the test server. I don't think Terminator needs more damage its OP enough. I think Juggernaut needs +5000 HP from 10000 -> 15000 Firebird and Freeze have no negative effects. (According to my experiences on the test server. ) Edit: I reckon the next TO balance change is two months from now and Freeze will get a solid -50 to -60 DPS nerf because of constant use rates. Striker will get maybe 10 extra damage each modification (casual reasons) and Salvo charge up times decrease. No one really uses/appreciates Striker. (Except in the new JGR mode.)

I think this is too much of a nerf, just give is a slightly quicker reload. But also nerf arcade shots.

Arcade shots should not be nerfed because they already have lower DPS than Smoky and Thunder. If you want to nerf Shaft, decrease its sniper damage or make the arcade shots consume slightly more energy.

Great idea. It would be something like a more professional Vulcan with higher DPS but only for the time of the burst. Similar to Ricochet, which has also higher DPS than Twins but only for a limited time.

 

Vulcan players can shoot endlessly but they do it only in danger because they usually do not risk self-destruction. Scar players would need to pay attention on their ammo and that would make it more professional than Vulcan. I think that it should also have a grenade launcher which will kinda allow fast peek-a-boo tactics with reload of Thunder and damage of Ricochet. The grenade launcher would reload independently to main gun.

 

DPS: 10% more than Vulcan

Magazine duration: 4 seconds (20 ammo)

Magazine reload: 2 seconds at M4, 3 at M0

Grenade reload: 2 seconds at M4, 3 at M0

Grenade damage: Same as Ricochet

Weak damage: 50% (both main gun and grenade launcher)

Seeing as Arcade shots are supposed to be a secondary function, I would hope they do less DPS than smoky's main (only) attack.

 

It's like a sniper pulling out a pistol when enemy closes the gap. Of course that pistol will not be as effective as a shotgun or assault gun.  but it's still better than a knife or bare hands.

Ultra long range Vulcan without overheat, recoil and impact force? Good idea. Why not? It should have low DPS because it would be OP otherwise.

 

So much turrets could be added to Tanki...

Shaft needs to use arcade shots often in some maps (Rio, Future, Wolfenstein, Desert, Iran, Polygon, Red Alert, Highland). I sometimes kill more enemies with arcade shots than with sniper shots in these maps and that means I kill lots of enemies with arcade shots.

If a sniper can take out, say, a Smoky at midrange, something's not right. If a sniper is super effective in longrange (which Shaft is), quite good at midrange, and survivable with skill at closerange, frankly, balance becomes nonexistent. 

 

A sniper...

  • Is great for long range
  • Can take out at most 50-60% of a midrange turret
  • Gets destroyed utterly at close range.

​Right now, Shaft has basically no real weakness. It's quite easy to mine pathways to your camping spot, so scope isn't a nerf. Don't tell me arcade shots are weak, 'cause they sure as hell aren't. I don't care what the devs modify, but just do something about Shaft.

 

I get above 500 points 4 out of 5 games and no more than two deaths per battle playing normally with nonexcessive drug usage. Literally, for the past 20 battles, I would say I've died 17-18 times. I dare you to tell me that Shaft is completely balanced with a straight face.

I think there should be just option to make magnum's turret turnable, when hull is locked to one place. This would make magnum more like an artillery

Bad thing about that is that it may magnum really good in places, where aren't a lot room, but it doesn't block teammates as much in base

Railgun needs a buff

 

The standard railgun goes worser and worser when your rank becomes higher and higher, it's only used in xp/bp battle, it's like finding a pea in a bunch of leaves as finding Railgun in the MM battles, Railgun is seriously underpowered and some of the turret even does impact force and the Railgun misses shot, so Railgun's damage per shot should be increased and reload time should be decreased by 0.3 to 0.4s

The grenade launcher is my idea so it would have some chance in close range combat when it can not use peek-a-boo tactics.

1.Peek out

2.Start shooting main ammo

3.Shoot grenade

4.Hide behind a wall if in danger and reload magazine and grenade

5.If not, shoot until magazine is empty

6.Shoot grenade (it is already reloaded)

7.Hide behind a wall

8.Reload magazine and grenade (they would both reload 2 seconds at M4)

9.Repeat 1 to 8

What role is this turret supposed to serve? 

 

All turrets are supposed to fill a certain role, which determines how it's balanced. Usually it's also a role that another turret can't fill.

It will be like a long range firebird.

long rage firebird with cool looking effect, overheat ofcourse will exist and it will base its damage only on burning, on opposition to firebird that has some physical

this is supposed to be a tanks game , not a gun fight

go play fortnite or pubg if you like FPS games ^_^
