Ideas for Turrets!

That would be a really cool new mechanic. We don't have shots that slow down yet, but it would be very easy to implement since Striker uses the same concept - its shots accelerate up to a certain maximum speed.

Would make Hammer obsolete.

Only up close.

Hammer would have several advantages over this turret:

·Range.

·Faster projectile speed after 5-7.5 metres.

·More damage and impact force after  5-7.5 metres.

IMO hammer would be more versatile than this turret.

The sudden decline in projectile speed after 5-7.5 metres would put it at a speed of 10-15 metres per second. Which is slower than twins.

So boxer would just be more of a perfect turret to assassinate the hard to kill enemy.

RIP Freeze, Firebird, Isida, Hammer users

Nah, firebird might die first, but the burn effect ensures that the enemy will die anyway.

Freeze just needs to freeze the target then get behind up close to finish it off.

Isida just needs to keep its distance until it deals enough damage to kill the target.

Hammer reloads faster per shot and is more versatile.

Basically the technique against boxer is to to keep your distance so that if you do get hit, it'll be less impactful than it would if you took the brunt of it. Also it has a pretty long reload, so you should be able to use that to your advantage.

Looks like the devs can just add the graphic of a horn to the game, and make it your "Boxer" turret.  ? User has to charge the enemy like a bull to make sure the tank is close enough to hit the enemy with full impact.

Gauss should get a HUGE nerf. It is meta at all ranks

People who use it in battle tend to do better than all other turrets.

Here is my suggestions for a rework.

Doesn't have to add all of these as these are individual.

200% Self damage.

Add a laser.

Reloads slower than Thunder, when using the Sniper mode, reload twice as long as Magnum

Like Vulcan, it has effects. Instead of an overheat, when sniping, it freezes your tank.

When using a super shot, It should be a tit for tat effect. You take damage to inflict damage.

A true Avenger turret. (not a hull)

When you lose 1% HP from your hull, This turret does 2% more damage. It is an arcade shooter and reload like Smoky. When you have max health It does like only 50 damage, but when you have like 20% HP remaining your damage is really buffed.

Gauss did get a nerf recently with the latest update, if what you suggesting is implemented which I highly doubt, the turret itself will be nothing but a joke.

This is definitely not a turret idea, but it does make an interesting mechanic for a new drone. It could either be dependent on tank health (e.g. 20% more damage when you're at less than 10 hp), or on total damage taken, such as maximum 20% damage buff if you receive 10000+ hp damage (thus requiring use of Isidas and repair kits for full effect).

self damage on a snipe?  What the _ _ _ _?

Gauss does avg damage ~ to magnum, so why should it take 2x as long to reload, let alone longer to reload?

If you want to be taken seriously at least put some thought into it and make reasonable suggestions.

But it was awful generous of you to point out that not ALL of your suggestions should be adopted. ?

It might have been "nerfed", but it wasn't even noticeable.

Bruh it shouldn’t even be in the game. It is a broken combo of Shaft and Thunder and it is overused. How the heck does nobody see this?

So you are turning Gauss into a Shaft (with all its weakenesses) and Thunder (with all its weaknesses). It is not the one-shot killer Shaft is so it doesn't need a laser. Drones, drugs and upgrades are what you are seeing, not stock Gauss.

Challenges, Gauss turret, Hyperion drone, Seige mode. Do you know the one thing all of these have in common?

You're forgetting the fact that shaft has to be immobile while sniping whereas Gauss is a mobile sniper.

Let's look at one mess that the release of Gauss caused. Striker in its stock form was finally starting to become a decent turret to use. And then Gauss came and all the striker players flocked to Gauss. And now their striker is collecting dust while Gauss is always being used.

Not necessarily.  I have 1 account with striker and 1 account with Gauss.

And striker still has a long way to go to be decent.  It's not Gauss holding this account back from using striker.  Striker is holding me back.

That's because the release of Gauss turned striker from a somewhat viable turret to yesteryear's news. And there's still the looming question:

Why the Hell do we need gauss in the game?

How does release of Gauss encourage this account (which has striker but not gauss) from using striker.

I'm not using striker because it still is not very good. Has nothing to do with Gauss.

Never said that the release of Gauss discourages the use of striker. I may have exaggerated a tiny bit by saying that ALL striker players flocked to Gauss. But it's not too far from the truth.

I see 1 striker in like 50 battles since the Gauss release. Before it was like 1 every 3-4 battles.

Gauss, I see 1+ in every battle, and the majority of them do so well in battles.

And you still haven't answered my question.

Why do we need Gauss?  For players that want a long-range turret but don't like rail or shaft.

Magnum: "Am I a joke to you?"

The whole Gauss turret seemed like it was rushed just so they can have a turret released for 2019. They made the announcement maybe a week before it was actually released, so not much anticipation there.

Design wise, it looks like Pinocchio shapeshifted into a Fox.

Mechanics wise, it took good aspects that many turrets has or had:

· Thunder and smoky ability to adapt to many different situations.

· Strikers lock on and grace time (made longer for Gauss).

· Magnums former splash mechanics.

· Shafts former stealth ability.

So no doubt it's an abomination.

Yes magnum is a joke to me.  Ever wonder why there are so many magnum vikings out there? because it's wide area of splash and high damage can be used with Viking OD. It's ridiculous.  Gauss can't do that with it's most potent attack.

So I agree - magnum is an abomination.  I will never, ever buy magnum.  Same with that noob turret twins.  Can't stand it - even when they are on my own team. They Never. Stop. Firing.    Ever.

It would be cool if devs consider to make Gauss's charged shot like Smoky's critical hit.  The charged shot may deal the same damage as normal shot when it's not a critical hit.  This could save Shaft's face, make Thunder's mid-range shot meaningful again, and stop the current "Gauss camping spam".
