Ideas for Turrets!

If developers release a Fire Augment or Stun Augment with Thunder, it can make it too strong for players.

 

If they do, hope we get a good balanced con that comes with each Augment.

The number of protections generally means that Thunder isn't that strong though. Certainly nowhere near Gauss. To be honest, if developers introduce an augment which is sledgehammer but you get EMP/Stun/Burn/Col effects (only on critical hits which can be added and even then only to the target hit) it would be balanced.

Um... No.

What! is it bad for this turret to damage more than one tank at one.

Just like thunder , guess and etc...

Lets start with the idea...

Sound + missile + "toxic void" all in one?  Those three characteristics do not go together. You are meshing 2 or even 3 ideas together.  This should not be one turret.

 

Then there's the specs...

You've listed way too many "advantages".

Long Range + High Damage + Affect multiple enemies + "blur enemies screen"?

You seem to want it all - and that's just too much.  Not sure what your idea of "high damage" is - you never spelled that out.

Plus we've already got Thunder and Gauss that can be long range + multiple enemies.  Gauss can also be considered high damage.  Maybe Thunder too?

 

IMO you've got two or three different turrets listed here. And IMO sound is not a long-range type of weapon.  Effectiveness would dissipate rapidly over distance.

Regardless of everything, the "blind" effect isn't a compatible and appropriate for Tanki.. It's not a game where everything is crowded with many characters and wonders. No it's just a tanks game, where you play and shoot. I think the diversity we have now is a pretty enough far from the concept of "tanks", we don't need more ruining I think we had enough from overdrives.

Edit: oh sorry now I have noticed that I mean by "Blind" is the "blur the screen" you mentioned.

When the missile shoots of , it uses sound to do so.

The toxic void is the trail it leaves behind :

lasting up to 3-4 second's

when the missile hits the opponant it releases sound shock waves

I thought it was sound doing the damage?  Now you are saying it's a giant blow-dart?  Make up your mind.

Anyway... you've lumped way too much into one turret.  Simplify it.

He has a point, there are a lot of unclear details regarding your turret. At first I even thought it was an idea for a status-effect.

I never said that the toxic void is the one which will damage the opponant.

The toxic void is just a special effect that makes this turret unique.

The toxic void is just like railguns smoke trail but just more larger.

Every turret has to have it's own unique features and effect's. This turrets unique feature is to damage the opponant with sound and blurring his screen ( vision ).

What I meant by :

" blurring his screen (vision)"

 Have you ever felt a dizzy feeling when you vision goes blurry and what's in front of you becomes three then goes back to one , that's what I mean by " your vision going blurry ". It only happens for 1-2 seconds.

ITS NOT AN OVERPOWERED TURRET!!!

I hope this is the details you needed

And one thing your than which is jumping to conclusions.

you didn't even think about this before complaining ??.

It does not blind the opponant

I'm curious as to what age group you are in:- 15/20-20/25-25/30 are maybe you are a higher age group.

These numbers by the way are months not years.

For your Sound weapon, maybe rephrase "toxic void" to "sound wave" or something to that effect.  "Toxic void" does not make sense and is misleading.

I'll be "happy" when you reduce the 'advantages'.  Combining long-range + high-damage + multiple targets just copies Thunder/Gauss with a bit of Ares OD thrown in. Then adding the miscelaneous "blur vision" in there really is overload.

An idea for a sound-based attack is interesting. But you've got ideas for 2 or even 3 turrets in there.  That's 1 or 2 too many...
