Ideas for Turrets!

Amm i have idea for freeze users. As tank is getting frozen, also reloading should be slower, BUT vulcan should not heat up after it reaches heating level. Also, when it reaches heating level, it should stop freeze a bit, because turret is deam hot!

I like the idea of slower reload.

 

 

 

For the heating(freezing of tanks:

As it was explained those days in another topic, freeze, firebird and vulcan effect all the same "temperature parameter" of the target hull.

So if a vulcan is at maximum heat, it's temp is at +100% (maximum temperature). Freeze will cool it down to 0%, and if it continues freezeing it reaches -100% (min temperature).

The slowing down effect you know from freeze, is attached to the temperature level of the tank.

So within temp=0%..+100% the vulcan will not be slowed down, even if it is chilled by freeze.. simply because it has a lots of heat to be taken away first. As soon as the temp drops below 0%, the tank will be slowed down accordingly.

 

But I don't wanna look up now, what is "stronger" or "faster": the vulcans heating rate or the frezeers chilling rate.

I just know, that a firebird heats up a target faster, then a freeze can chlil it down (so if both fire the same tank, the firebird will still deal burning damage).

What if there was a "turret" where there was no turret, but instead the top of your tank was sealed off and stuffed with explosives?  Think of it--being an explosive-filled tank and rushing into the midst of a control point/group of enemies like ALLAHU AKBAR and KABLOOEY--huge damage.  The M versions could have more advanced explosives.  I think this is a brilliant idea.

What if there was a "turret" where there was no turret, but instead the top of your tank was sealed off and stuffed with explosives?  Think of it--being an explosive-filled tank and rushing into the midst of a control point/group of enemies like ALLAHU AKBAR and KABLOOEY--huge damage.  The M versions could have more advanced explosives.  I think this is a brilliant idea.

Turret Name: Boom

Description: Turret is shaped like a giant C4 bomb. Has a blast radius of 10 meters that kills every tank of equal M rating in sight including yourself. Takes 3 seconds to explode and makes an audible beep per second. Any hull an M rating above survive with very little HP.

 I see a lot of ideas for damage based turrets, but what about a support turret?

 

  The Seeker- When its cone shaped laser/scanner falls upon an enemy tank or even an ally tank, it shows that particular tank that was scanned to the whole team ( only when holding spacebar ). It can do damage, but very little ( only when pressing spacebar ). The radar effect last 10-20 secs.

 

- Most helpful in Team battles such as CTF, CP, and TDM

- In DM it could be helpful to expose druggers 

- In CTF it could be helpful for exposing the tank that stole your flag or locate your team mate that has the enemy flag so you can get there to help him get back to base successfully.

- In CP it could be helpful for exposing snipers, campers, and druggers that are preventing you from capturing points.

- In TDM it is basically the same situation.

b ) I really think that players shouldn't make these turrets cuz it will all end up to be extremely overpowered, cuz naturally thats what we want.

 

No, there shouldn't be a turret that does that.

there should be a new turret called misslestrike it could shoot missles its reloading time would take 15 seconds it would shoot out a missle when hit enemie it would explode and take out half your life. 

So what you're saying is, regardless of armour, a tank will lose 50% armour anyway. What would be the point of using heavy hulls then?!

Tanki has many types of turrets but one more turret which I feel they should add is an artillery turret which would combine best with a medium hull like dictator or the two heavy hulls. U could also name the turret howitzer as it would function like one. I suggest this turret should have a decently long range. Also if u may have noticed that there is no turret in this game whose projectiles do not travel in a straight line. Therefore this turret's projectiles will curve and fall due to gravity. Also this turret will have a very low velocity projectile speed (something between twins and ricochet projectile speeds). This turret will also need to charge before firing similar to shaft but it won't have an optical scope attached to it. Also longer u hold on to the charge, farther would the projectile travel. Therefore for medium range targets u should not hold on to the charge for long otherwise the projectile would fly overhead harmlessly. It would have a reload similar to that of shaft and damage will vary for how long u ho the charge similar way to the way it works in shaft though max damage will never be more than that f railgun and minimum damage will be a little less than hammer and max range will be a little les than that of Vulcan. The difference between this turret and other mid range turrets is that hwitzer's damage will keep increasing over range. It will be ideal for mid to long range mapsit wll also have a splash damage which will damage itself if it fires on a wall or any obstacle within its radius. Therefore this turret will require a lot of skill but learning how to use it will also be very rewarding. It can always use cover while attacking and attack enemies under cover. Will also be ideal to tackle campers close to the flag like in Noise though it will require a lot of skill be able to use a high charge in that map otherwise the projectile would fly out of the map harmlessly. I don't think this turret is a bad idea and howitzer is also a decent name. This turret will be most effective in defensive roles therefore won't be very good for DMs unless the user finds a good camping spot.

 

I think this is a very accurate description of how an artillery turret should work in this game. Also if such a turret is introduced, they would have to add protection from this turret to existing paints and may also have to create new paints. I wonder if the Devs will read this but guys if u like my idea please up vote it since it may make a difference.

I will see if I can come up with how the turret should look like. Like please :)

there should be a new turret called the supermissle m0 would do not alot of damage note: the bullet would explode when hit target. M1 suff would do a little more damage m2 would take out almost half your life m3 would take out half your life but on m3 stuff it would do a little damage. Hope You like this idea

     It would be way to OP; basically what you are saying is that when the projectile sent from the " supermissle" will do a set amount of damage regardless of protection or supplies being used.

I like the idea of a rocket launcher quite a lot but the 'supermissile' idea was extremely OP and pointless.
