Ideas for Turrets!

The 88

 

This would be an artillery piece.

It length would be longer than Railgun, but smaller than Shaft.

It would have the barrel diameter of Thunder.

Its reload time would be a little longer than Thunder's reload time.

Its damage radius would be slightly bigger than Thunder's radius.

Would have the ability to tilt the barrel up and down by pressing Q and E.

I recently came up with a new turret, which I do not yet have a name for. My idea is a machine gun, kind of like the vulcan, but it doesn't do as much damage. It also has some special pros and cons.

 

*It would have a mixture of bullets, one would be regular damage, another would slow the tank that you shot, double damage shot, and maybe you guys can think of some others. Of course, these shots would be rare, however you would be able to upgrade the chances of them in the garage. Now I got this idea from vulcan: Instead of overheating and inflicting self damage, It would slow down the speed of how it shoots. Example: The longer you shoot, the longer the time between shots gets.

The slowness and double damage would be very rare, so this gun wouldn't be so OP like vulcan is

The slowness would be rare?? So it's basically a Vulcan without the Heatup.

And Smoky's crit is rare too.......

just had an idea about kamikadze tank. you could aim at oponent and then your tank would behave like a turret with 250 damage (to to all the tanks on it's way, let's say 50 meters) and will also loose 80% of its health

More turret designs extended from my first list-

1. Homing Missile-You can press you up, down, left, right keys to navigate your missile to your target

2. Cluster Bomb- Fires one bomb, and then more bombs and even more

3. Poison-Fires poison bullets that will poison your enemy

4. Scald-Fires scalding water at the opponent to damage them

poison (was mentioned above)->

it reflects the idea of "demage over time"; a suitable analogy for tanks is acid.

Acid spoiled over the tank eats its way inside, dealing demage over time.

If you hit a second time, the demage-over-time of the second shot gets added to the first.

 

The trick would be to balance the shot frequency with the demage the shot inflicts. It needs some "imidiate" demage, and some "demage over time" part for each time you hit a tank.

New turret - Canon

It will be a long pipe that will shoot balls like traditional canon used to it will be based on the mechanism of projectile motion we cannot move the turret but we can adjust its projectile angle (height) using z,x,c Its reload time would be around 7-8 seconds and as we press space bar the ball take some time to reach to the target that leads to delay but it will have a hefty damage of 60-70 it can be shooted over buildings if projected with perfect angle it damage would be a splash of circle of radius 1metre and if tank comes into this area it will get self-damage and reload time,damage , damage area can be increased or decreased

Garage Description:

Acidex is one of the best turrets for close combats. When you continously shoot at your enemy, your enemy's gun cannot shoot for three and a half seconds but he can move his tank and turret. Compared to other short ranged turrets, it has less damage but unlike other short ranged turrets, it also has impact force. Works great on small and medium hulls.
