Ideas for Turrets!

So as all/most of you know, the developers really like taking a look at new ideas in the forums to make up something amazing. 

:DDDDDDDDDDDDDD The BEST joke i have ever heard! :DD

 

 

The Reaper from vipers video is my design.

My idea of this turret was simmilar to shaft.

After zooming for 2+ seconds, it gets 25% damage bonus and will shoot out ALL clip.

if i am in a battle with someone and i know that enemy has low health, i can just shoot. The least ammount what i need to shoot projectile is 10%.

Example (Numbers are JUST FOR EXAMPLE!)

When my energy bar is full, i deal 1000 damage in noscope and loose all my energy.

When i have only 10% energy reloaded, i deal just 100 damage in noscope and loose all my energy.

When i have 50% energy, i deal 500 damage and loose all my energy if in noscope.

When i have 100% energy and im IN SCOPE, i deal 1250 damage and loose ALL energy.

When i have 50% energy and im in scope, i deal 625 damage and loose all energy.

 

2+ seconds in scope is needed so people just dont go in scope for miliseconds and get 25% extra damage for nothing.

Barrel is a little bit on side so it can camp behind road blocks exposing only his turret, not the hull itself.


Electro was supposed to shoot lightning in limited range. When it hits one of enemies, it tries to jump on the next tank and so on. It deals low damage to nearest tanks but deals huge damage in the end of the chain.

 

Lets say 4 tanks are in 1 line and one tank is shooting at them. as seen on image. the damage is JUST AN EXAMPLE!

Btw electricity jumps also from teamate to teamate but dont do damage if the last person isnt enemy. Yes it can jump from enemy to teamate

The Icicle turret is basically a mashup of Freeze, Striker, and Ricochet. Here's how it works:

 

In the design, it has a horizontal line of five slots, each one of which holds an Icicle. To fire, the user holds space. While holding space, the energy bar drains. After releasing space, 1, 3, or 5 Icicles are fired (starting from the centre, and then the next two, and then the last two), with the damage of a Smoky shot, and the freezing effect of Freeze. As the energy regenerates, the Icicles regenerate in layers, centre, the next two, and then the last two. 

 

If the user taps space, just the center Icicle fires, but the user cannot fire again until the Icicle regenerates.

I have an idea for the Magnum turret. I think it would be cool if, when your Magnum is being engaged (holding the space bar), and you die, the Magnum would launch in the direction it was pointing, and with the power it was at. For example if I was engaging my Magnum, and it was at 50% and had an angle of 45 degrees, but someone killed me, then the Magnum would launch at 50% and at 45 degrees. This could make the Magnum more interesting, and spice up the matches a little more. A more practical example would be if you were trying to kill a flag carrier, but died in the process, then your last shot could kill the carrier.

P.S. If anyone wants to quote me or add on to this that is fine. I really hope the developers would at least look at my idea and consider it because as I have been playing I have come to many situations where this would be useful.

Hi, my turret idea is called the "HPL - High Power Laser". Note that a railgun is not a laser gun, so no, this is not a copy of railgun, and its mechanic is wide diferent.

 

In few words this turret is a sniper turret in whic plater must hold space bar to aim, and a laser will be fired continously by some seconds. Just as Zod in this clip from Man of Steel movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMKsuA4Bi-c minute 2:34. 

 

As soonas you press space bar, the turret starts to fire its laser and you enter gradually in sniper mode. so you must have an idea of where are you shooting at, this makes it a bit harder to bullseye on first sight. 

 

M1, M2, M3 can be improved in recovery time and in laser duration time. The enhanced the turret, the longer time it fires the laser. 

 

No self damage, no splash damage. Long recovery time. One scanning shot deals a total damage of 2100 on M1, why so high? Because you will never aim as son as you press space bar. 

 

This turret is ment for médium distances. 

 

Please give me corrections or support so I can enhance or extend this idea :)

my idea is for smokey, whenever smokey does a critical strick it slows down the opponent tank by aleast 3 seconds.

 

i think that idea should have been in the game, critical strick fries circuit, making the hull go slow. also that turent aim is very narrow, so should be very good.

A new turret changing the rules of the game :) – for smart players with team spirit

 

As an isida lover, I strongly miss a turret in battles which could distribute power/health for team mates also for long distances. A turret based on Rail (but without impact force), with the possibility to aim a player from the own team OR an enemy (depends what the shooter evaluates as the better choice or how good the player is able to aim).

SHOOTING TEAM MEMBER:

It deals the main health to a struck player + splash effect (some energy for players from the same team being around the struck player).

 

SHOOTING ENEMY:

Splash effect like Magnum, but similar shooting mechanism like Rail, you can´t hit enemies behind walls.

Great for CTF, CP and TDM, less for DM mode

Many tankers love using Rail so this turret could be not a total „stranger“ for them who got to used playing with Rail.

 

I guess in hands of a clever player it can change tactics in battles :), it would bring more fun and thinking about strategy on maps.

My idea is not actually related to creating some new turret (in fact I am satisfied with the already present wide variety :D)​. My idea is basically to add some unique ability or power (whatever you may call it) to each of the present turret, under different awesome names. For example, we can have a special ability for freeze turret which will give it, say 3X damage, under the name 'Frost Bite'. this ability will be used by the player once fully charged (seems a bit like the overdrive concept B)).

P.s. consider about this idea. ​

Make auto aim work on teammate too, so striker can use teammate as target, and let splash damage do the rest. like isida.

 

I think railgun user has pro enough to shot and that penetration power.

 

At least, make it as option in pro battle

My Regards To Tanki Creators and Developers

 

I love to play with Hammar but i am not currently using it because of some changes u have brought to it.

I like all the changes but bouncing back of shotgun pellets is not good because we all know that hammar is based on a shotgun and bouncing pellets of a shotgun is not nice to me.The only thing i want to say is that pls bring back the original hammar.

New Earthquake turret

 

main shockwave effect travels out along the ground in a cone from the tank to the edge of the screen with effects reducing with range from start point. Shockwave would affect tanks on structures or high / low features equally.

Tanks able to jump over the shockwave would be unaffected.

 

The effect would travel relatively slowly but still faster than the fastest units.

 

max damage ie close up similar to splash damage from magnum but decreases rapidly with distance. Plus random stun effect (not affected by distance) with enemy disabled / stunned for several seconds if successful. Recharge similar to shaft or striker. 

 

Secondary arcade shockwave (damage similar to shaft arcade shot + stun chance) but very limited short range with medium recharge time.

You know Striker is a thing that exists, right? And your pic looks more like a Magnum-type turret.

sleeper-> makes the enemy to cannot attack + move and see for (2 + MX) sec  X=the grade of the turret.

does half damage of thunder of the same grade->like shaft but low damage. if u guys know overwatch u would know the old sniper with her sleeping enemy ability.

the reacharge of the turret is 5 sec. most use of it to escape with a flag or just escape from enemy.

M4 does min 500 damage and max 800 damage.

M3 does min 400 and max 700.

m2 does min 300 and max 600.

m1 does min 200 and max 500.

m0 does min 100 and max 400.

all of it suppost to be is help friends turret to take the flag.

there is a big chance that if it will be in the game means everyone will use it.

M0 cost 1000.

M1 cost 10000.

M2 cost 100000.

M3 cost 250000.

M4 cost 1000000.

pls make it happen cuz it will be cool

Maybe a turret with an attack that deals more damage over time. The turret should be called the Inferno, the Charger, or something like that. The damage would be from 49 charging all the way up to 300. And, since the turret will be powerful, it should cost like 600-1200 crystals. Once the damage gets up to 300, it would go back down to like 70 and charge back up. For the range, it could be a a little smaller than the range of the Firebird. The reload time would something like 5-7 seconds.

A laser turret that deals low damage, but has range like shaft, and heats like the firebird. The burning effect would last much longer than the firebird, but the "on target" damage (when the enemy is actually in your sights) is low. Also, a burn radius where enemies within a certain distance of the burning tank would also be damaged. This turret should only be made if its laser, and the shaft and striker lasers are made different to avoid confusion. This also would deal self damage if the enemy was too close.

As you may already know, the self healing of Isida (vampirism) has been removed a while ago. That's a good thing since it made Isida overpowered and nerfing it made it underpowered. With self healing gone, Isida can be strong at M4 level, not too overpowered or underpowered anymore. Players now have a perfectly balanced Isida.

 

My plan is to re-introduce the self healing ability by creating a brand new turret that can both destroy enemy tanks and heal team mates in team battles, but using a different mechanism that Isida does.

 

To begin with, the turret must either be a medium or long range turret. Self healing must only be self activated upon sucking the health of enemy tanks. When healing team mates in team battles, the turret must be capable of healing them by giving them +1 HP unit of health per second and also giving the healer player +1 crystal to the battle fund and +1 point in his score list in the battle position screen. The player would also earn +1 experience points when healing a team mate or destroying an enemy tank. This is how this turret should work.

 

The number of crystals earned, points earned in the battle list, experience points and number of HP earned or given must correspond to the same number of +1 of HP, +1 crystal and +1 point per second given to the player when performing healing actions.

 

When destroying tanks, the total number of HP and hit points must be given out in the same way as when healing team mates in team battles. When causing damage to an enemy tank, the player will suck out +1 HP, earn +1 point, earn +1 crystal and earn +1 experience point per second.

 

This new turret would need to have somekind of laser-like beam like Isida that can stick itself on both the enemy tanker or the team mate in team battles, but have a different way of functioning.

this idea is not a new turret but i was thinking if they added choice to buy which color your beam will be like green with rail gun so it can match your paint and with isida as well and other turrets like these up vote if you like the idea.
