Unfair battle funds.

Sometimes, the battle fund is unfair. About 2 weeks ago, I was in a 15 minute polygon CP (controlled points) battle with a score of about 750, I got about 150 crystals while some people with a score of about 400 got over 800 crystals.

 

Is there an explanation for this?

The reward you get is directly proportional to the score you gain in that battle and the points difference of the teams, therefore you will inevitably get less reward if your team lost and/or you didn't perform well compared to other members of your team.

 

A fairly recent update made sure that the less experienced players would still get good rewards by giving the losing team up to 40% of the battle fund and by making the fund distribution within the team linear so that the players in first places don't get almost all of the battle fund. You got 150 crystals now, whereas before you would get no more than 40. There is no way this system will be unfair with those changes in place.
