Doesn't matter now, when the account is active and is able to chat in the main chat, that is when it can be reported for inappropriate nickname, for now, I don't think it matters that much.

Doesn't matter whether he is a friend or not. :) As such nicknames are not allowed and it clearly is stated in the game rules which makes it discrimination towards others, in this case religions. For now as the account can't talk, it doesn't matter as much as it will later.

Different connotations. Consider these simple sentences.

I love you.......I hate you

I love vegetables.......I hate vegetables

Notice the the way the word "hate" feels? It conjures up bad feelings.

To publically "hate" a person or group of people, can incite riots. A nickname is seen by the public, even though that public is only those in the game. Supposing that name went unreported. Others may think it's okay to use "hate" nicknames. Can you imagine how far that can go?

As for "love" referring back to the examples above, did you notice how the word "love" feels? It conjures up good feelings. To publically "love" a person or group of people isn't as likely to instill bad feelings that could start riots.

Do you see the difference?

Next thing you know, there'll be countries hating countries and then the beginning of WWIII. Headlines in the newspaper will read (this is fictitious) ...

Members of Tanki Online Incites WWIII

Developers and Staff of Tanki Online, a Massive Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG)

allowed players to create and change their nicknames to hate names, which

changed the players love of the game into hatred towards each other. It wasn't

long before Tanki Online became known as the hate game.

When the Developers and Staff of Tanki Online realized what was happening

it was too late and was forced to shut down. Tanki Online had space

on Facebook, but that was shut down, too, because of the continued

cancerous hatred between players.

The hatred was continued in other chat rooms, resulting in hatred

between countries.

Do you see how hatred can escalate? The above fictitious article is not so far fetched.

My name was made with the intent of humour.

I always enjoy playing in games and having another player acknowledge the joke.

It's usually a very simple one, once my attention is grabbed they'll just say, - lol same as all of us, haha, me too. etc

Good times.
