rail-gun suggestion

Recommended Posts

Dear tanki online, this is AnacondaTanks, thank you for keeping the current version available. i have a question about your rail-gun. in one of your videos, you stated that people thought it was a laser, and that's why you changed the air discharge to be wavy, this did add to the effect. being interested in science, I know a thing or two about rail-guns. when there is the electromagnetic dissonance there is a flash of blue and yellow light, and most importantly, sparks fly. because their is mumetal propulsion, via grounded electric magnetism, sparks fly because of the power output. my question to you is; is there a way to program sparks at the end of the barrel of the rail-gun after discharge? they would need to be blue and yellow in color. thank you for reading, i once again thank you for providing such an awesome game

I'm sure there is away to program that (I mean why not). But I don't think it will happen. Not because it's a bad idea or anything, just the Devs have better stuff in store for us. ;)

There is a way to program such effect, however, it's not needed.

Tanki isn't meant to be a realistic game, instead a fast-paced game which can be played right on your browser.

So, in a way, it's close to reality, because we feel better that way, but it's not meant to be an application of actual Physics and Chemistry rules.

The new visual affects would be amazing similar to those high-resolution programs or edits they present in special videos. Maybe in Unity??
