Complaint about Shaft Vs. Rail

Recommended Posts

I use Shaft and it's my favorite weapon in the game. The only problem is when it comes to a long range dual with a rail gun. I always shoot the tank to change where the barrel points. It works everytime in that it makes the rail point away from me when it shoots. The problem is, the shot still gets me even if I've shot first to nock the rail out of aim. I know I'm shooting before the rail guns because I've done it tons of times and I shoot as soon as I see the glow.

I've also noticed the Shaft doesn't have much impact force so it is more difficult to knock off the aim of another tank - not fair.

Lastly, I think the Shaft should do better at shooting thrrough multiple tanks like Railgun. Shaft's projectile seems to get weakened as it goes through tanks. Rail gun's strength is the ability to shoot on the move. Shaft's strength is that it has a scope. Everything else should be the same but it seems railgun has a few advantages over Shaft.

It would be nice if the developers could consider these things and make the two snipers more even in strengths. Shaft is hard to use so a little help would be nice.

This is caused by lag. On your screen you shot first, while on the opponent's screen he shot first, so as a result they don't get their aim knocked off. There is no way the developers can fix this as it's an issue with Internet and not the game itself.

That makes sense as far as lag. I'll have to try and shoot them earlier. I still think Shaft could be uprgraded a little though for the other problems I mentioned. Thanks for the replies!

Not for arcede shot, but can be for snipe shot.

If you fight like a "tower" you should have the greatest impact force. What I hit should feel it.

But not about railgun, just about being tower...

The difference however is shaft can shoot things from a farther distance much much more easily than railgun can. Isn't that fair?
