better respawn idea

Ok now, when tank gets destroyed it normally respawns randomly to his base. But what if we could have an option to respawn immediately, I mean on place right where tank has been destroyed? For example, when someone "dies" in battle then message would appear which says "respawn here?" and two options would be under that "yes" and "no". If you click "no", then you respawn like usual, to your base. But if you click yes, then you need to pay 100 crystals to respawn immediately on that place where you died. 100 crystals is not too much, but price can be discussed. And another thing, after appearance of that message, if player doesn't click anything, then countdown should be set like "3, 2, 1" and again you respawn normally. But paying crystals should be added to "yes" option, like "respawn here?", "yes (100crystals)", and "no", you don't pay with no. How is my idea?

The current way is OK. If you die, it's fair for the other players to not enter immediately in the game. No point to change it.

In some cases this is needed ,for example, if you took the enemy flag, and want to capture it, so what if you die somewhere and you lose the flag, and no one can see you where you are, so you would choose to respawn into that place, this happened to me many times in silence.

This is not a reason for changing this. It's the same for all players. There are other issues in the game that must be solved and this is not one of them.

On a serious note, this idea is meant for rich buyers and Generalissimo who will use this to stay in enemies base until they take their flag. No one will die from gold drop zone. IMO, an unnecessary update which interferes with current gameplay and strategies.

Yeah. This is a perfect way to make some CTF on high levels completely unplayable.

 

Pay 2 Win as it is. Can't see any reason to implement this.

So now you have to pay 100 crystals for re-spawn at death place and if not I have to waste 3 seconds + the 1 second to get to a spawn point + at least 2 seconds as a ghost form. Why does it have to be like "Do you want to stay in battle while visiting the lobby?" dialogue?! I'm okay with that dialogue but this? No.

Tbh, with the updates in pressing yes, no, cancel etc. when clicking on the garage, things have gotten a bit more complicated. This update would just make things even more complicated in the game.

So......take the flag, go to a secluded spot with 10% HP, drop flag, SD, re-spawn with full HP, take flag, win game. Wow........

Also, Shaft/Railgun/Thunder drugging campers who did parkour to get to an OP spot on a hill could just be there for the entire game making your life miserable.

heh, now your opinions are that players will just ruin the game by respawning on one place, if a player finds a good spot he will respawn constantly, but that's why I said that respawning on same place is paid. It doesn't have to be 100 ctystals, I said price can be disscused, it can 500 or 1000 crystals, so players won't often do that, I just mentioned this that this can help them to escape or capture the flag when they get destroyed, or even to take the gold box if someone is standing on spot, think again, IMO this is good idea.

Well, imagine a drugger coming towards your base in CTF when it is a stalemate. He has nearly killed you, who has the flag, but a railgun in your team kills him just in time. 10 seconds later, the same player(s) respawning right at your base and having a better chance of killing you and returning the flag (please don't mention the railgun). Do you understand what I'm trying to say? Also, what if a person does parkour and reaches a place hard to reach and kills your teammates without being touched?

I think re-spawning back at the base resets the balance of fire-power throughout the map. In re-spawning at an advanced position closer to the enemy base would upset that balance.

 

Teams wouldn't be able to regroup after defending a massed attack. The weakened defenders would be at a disadvantage in a fire-fight. The knowledge that a tank could pop-up within their perimeter would cause a tightening of the defensive network and the gameplay would become one-sided. A well funded opposition could easily dominate a round of CTF.

 

The idea does give rise to some interesting tactical opportunities but overall I'd say the current protocol is adequate.

 

I do get frustrated though when I sometimes keep re-spawning directly in the line of fire of some drugged Shaft or Rail. Of course this proposed adjustment wouldn't help me with that!
